On the topic of competition being a motive, Moore's office was always busy. Frequently I saw 4 or 5 people in the waiting room. He always had time for kids and would only charge $15 for student athletes. Drake had multiple offices all over north Idaho that he hopped around between. His offices (2 that I saw) were minimally decorated, nearly empty. No check in process, nobody working a desk. He had offices for just himself in like 4 cities. Just him. He only took cash, no debit cards. I thought that odd and asked him about it. I told him there were other options these days like Square that can be used anywhere. He got fumbly and evasive ...just weird about it. I only saw Drake 3 or 4 times as a patient because he had a weird vibe. One of my appointments he went on and on about how I could get naked if i wanted to...how its no big deal...whatever it takes for me to be comfortable. Then when he was trying to break up some scar tissue in my shoulder, he said something to the effect of praising me for taking the pain and being a "tough girl". I was face down and he had been basically straight armed to push downward, but he leaned down by my ear when he said that. I didnt go back. I may be misremembering, but I seem to recall that he'd had some infidelity issues back in Texas. And in the mix of everything (keeping in mind the news was all over the place on the topic), I think I read something about a million dollar life insurance policy. Another early article (The Herald i think) mentioned that Moore was held for around 10hrs without food, water or his medication. The cop who came in second to try and convince him was a long time friend of Moore. Moore said he came at him like a friend. As far as I know, Drake's wife was never investigated despite the life insurance and history of cheating. It makes for a good aliby to be on the phone with him when the shot was fired if she had someone do it. The night of the murder, the police were looking in the woods for a suspect on foot on the way to the river. Moore wasnt a spring chicken and those woods are a long steep hill before hitting downtown and going over the dyke.

Hi Dr. Grande, I had no idea being a Chiropractor was so competitive. Daniel did ask for a lawyer while at the police station. By the police not honoring the request is the reason why Daniel is free.
I have a white Tundra Truck and my paternal grandmother's family name is Moore! It is interesting how a technicality can prevent someone from being charged when the court of the public will need much more than that. Considering how limited most adult's options for activities are, it would likely be easy to limit the amount of suspects for any crime within that age group.
I imagine it must be pretty frustrating for those small-town police knowing that Daniel murdered Brian in cold blood, yet still walks the streets as if nothing happened, specifically because they completely botched the case by playing fast and loose with his rights. I imagine they learned a valuable lesson, but I highly doubt that has much of an impact on the shame and regret they feel due to their incompetent buffoonery. Yet another example of a police department attempting to abuse their power... only this time it resulted in the rare occasion where the outcome didn't go the officers' way. Hopefully, they at least know to keep a close eye on any new chiropractors that show up in town.
Good review on this case. Dr. Grande, I have a request for you to review the case of Larry Ray. There is a documentary out now on HULU about him called Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence. Thanks
I think he is guilty. I once went to work in a tiny rural town with this same kind of problem. An old MD in this small town was extremely resentful of the new young DO that came in town and was taking all the patients, everybody liked and cutting into his profits. So the old m d started slandering the young d o all over town and even libel. Every way he could. He even threatened to shut down the hospital. There was only one tiny little hospital with about 12 nurses. And he convinced the nurses to go with him and shut the hospital down. He tried to but the young doctor, his competition, recruited myself and other contract nurses in order to keep the hospital open. It was absolutely insane how nasty that old m d was to his competition. If we had not shown up people for hundreds and hundreds of miles would have not had an ER or hospital to go to because this MD was having to share patients. I don't know how that ever end up I think the d o moved.
In a small town, the “good old boys” protect each other. Drake would be seen as an interloper interfering with a local guy’s business. This would infuriate certain kinds of people.

The crime was already to perform chiropractics.
Wow I haven't seen a video of yours yet where you where able to get in so many one liner jokes great job to bad the chiropractor can't go back in time
That’s quite the adjustment…
the puns are killing me 😭😭
So does he still work as a Chiropractor in town? Did he lose his business? Does any of his clients think he's innocemt?
Thank you❤❤❤
Good review on this case.
Dr. Grande, I have a request for you to review the case of Larry Ray. There is a documentary out now on HULU about him called Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence. Thanks
Dang, the chiropractic biz is cutthroat!
Yes , one has to watch their back.
@@rayross997💀
They practiced chiropractic next door to each other, but but didn't know each other???
Same street, I don't think they were next to each other.
So sad. A greedy doctor! What happened to the hospital?
@dila4834 It stayed open
@texasrefugee7888 Great. I am glad. Thank You.
I agree with you. He is guilty. Greed is a terrible thing. Glad the other dr was able to keep the hospital open.
Talk about a minor "adjustment."
So I notice a new, rather large, cactus. Does that give Dr. Grande a sharp wit?
In a small town, the “good old boys” protect each other. Drake would be seen as an interloper interfering with a local guy’s business. This would infuriate certain kinds of people.
