Mathew was worried that Holly would harm him so he removed guns from the home. It’s a shame that he didn’t think to tell the doctors about his concerns. Perhaps a doctor would have figured out that he was being poisoned

I work in an ER. If he'd told them he had concerns about her, they would/should have immediately run a tox. screen, which would have found the cause. It's so sad that this wasn't mentioned to his GP when he first complained of back pain - he might still be here today if he'd voiced his concerns.

Callousness, irresponsible choice of partner, callous disregard for the needs, and/or children with this partner, callous relationship to herself.... just, immanent callousness, and much more... there's much more to it.... people should be created with equal rights, but, we are, not the same.... sometimes, people do things that I wander what qualifies them to be part of humankind...

The report at the sheriff's department looks pretty decorated. So yeah, I'm happy to be alive and I needed to stop and process this video at least 5 times as I watched to process and I feel incredibly bad for this victim.

  • @ztoob8898

I would think testing the victim's hair would tell how long he was being poisoned. It's my understanding that most poisons end up deposited in the hair follicles and therefore in the strands themselves. Each hair strand is a timeline. (Forensic examiners actually cut several hair strands into short pieces and test each group of pieces separately, measuring concentration of poisons over a period of weeks to years in some cases.) If such testing showed consistent poison over a period of months, it would point the finger even more strongly toward the one person who had access to the victim's tea every single day: Holly.

That only works if you haven't cut your hair in a long while. If he kept his hair very short or cut often, they would have no way of knowing how long the poisoning went on. Most cases I've seen where that method works is on long haired women or men with medium length/long hair.

I wouldn't completely discount him doing it to himself based on no one would do such a thing. I have met people that would ingest substances to make themselves ill just to get sympathy. Or hurt themselves in other ways, usually not badly, but sometimes they would hurt themselves worse than they were planning to. not just me saying this either, there are cases about it. And some of them go to far when doing it and die from it.

She might have been the only person who had access to his drinks other than himself.
I am curious why she decided to meet with an eight-time felon for a mate.
I am curious how big their social circle is.

Kinda ironic, putting antifreeze in ice-tea. Maybe she was just trying to warm it up a bit for him??!!

After watching the trial, I could not have convicted her. No evidence and lots of reasonable doubt. I was shocked they found her guilty. Sometimes it's better to ask for a bench trial. And I still don't know if she did it. It could have been one of his co-workers.

How would you like a red dragon fruit cactus in the shape of a hand emerging from the earth like a Thanos glove? Rhetorical question, nerd. You NEED this cactus.
