One of my favorite things about Dr. Grande is the slow realization that his info on guns is more than just paper research.
The horse is the only character who had sense in this story.
So there was a lot of ... Horsesense?
😄
They are smarter than people think, and good at what they do, as are all animals.
Agreed.
When I hear these cases I always find it so unbelievable that people actually live their lives this way. One crappy decision leads to another crappy decision which ends in murder. Such sad pathetic lives...and deaths. 🤷♀️
Bad decisions lead to bad food for life. Jail food. Why would you indulge your horrible impulses, harm someone, and condemn yourself to jail food? For life? They don't put that stuff on Instagram.
Yeah but none of those crappy decisions lead to murder unless you are capable of murder. And you can't manipulate someone to commit murder if it isn't already deeply part of their nature. Ashley is probably a psychopath herself which would partly explain her attraction to a sadistic bonehead like Tracy.
When you put it this way, it reminded me that one good decision can lead to another. Hopefully watching these encourages us all to try to interrupt and reverse these downward cycles in our own lives (though I optimistically hope that ours are less dramatic than these cases!). Loved your comment.
And they never consider the consequences of their criminal acts!
I guarantee that drugs and alcohol were involved, which makes that type of lifestlye easy-peasey.
It seems that the more illicit the drugs, the lonlier those braincells start to become.
I'm not diagnosing anyone merely speculating that in a situation like this Dr. Grande is quite the firearms enthusiast.
I actually have today off! Get to kick back, relax and watch you not diagnose anyone in your videos. Thanks Dr. Grande for the consistent content!
Sounds like a chill way to spend the day. :)
I too have taken the day off to watch the good doctor NOT diagnose anyone, only theorize what could have happened in a similar situation.
My thoughts exactly. Well put everyone.
Lol "discovered hiding in the woods after a nearby horse became upset"
The horse was very perceptive.
i cracked up when he mentioned the horse lol
Maybe the horses could be recruited by the guards ?
The horse was really listening to his instincts.. he's not getting murdered today!
Tracy: "I have an upcoming trial for battery of my ex girlfriend - she fabricated it because I cheated on her"
Ashley thinks: "This is the man of my dreams!!! We must kill her so we can stay together".
*facepalm*
Can't fix stupid...
Ikr? Doesn’t make sense at all, unless Ashley was looking for someone with no moral compass.🙄
Yup. SMH.
It makes no logical sense... but I have seen this same behavior in many female friends of mine-- a pattern of romantic attraction to dangerous or criminal behavior-- and then inevitably those relationships end horribly, sometimes damaging friends and family as the relationship comes crashing apart... and the the female goes and does the same thing again and again over and over again with the same result for years. Maybe Dr.Grande can explain why some women have this pattern of behavior, and inability to learn from it to change the pattern.
@Angel Arch The majority of people would reject this guy outright once they found out about his violent criminal charge, regardless of whether they believed his story or not. Very few people want to deal with that kind baggage. Men/women like Tracey have a kind of radar that can detect stupid, naive or poor judgement. When they get the signal, like carrion flies they make their connection.
Bedtime stories with Dr. Todd. The peak of my day.
😄👍
One last thing Dr. G.
I just wanted to thank you. Because of your videos, I was able to recognize some negative "things" within myself that I didn't recognize before. Truthfully, I wasn't self-aware. I'm now seeing a psychiatrist and therapist. I'm getting professional help to improve myself and become a better person. I was recently enrolled in DBT and just had my first group session, which went well. I just learned about "DEER MAN" which is helping me regulate my emotions, among other things. I know it hasn't been long, but I can already tell that my personal relationships are starting to improve, which is slowly increasing my quality of life. Surprisingly, my fiancé made a comment about it. For the first time in a long time, I'm optimistic about the future. I can't thank you enough for helping me realize that I needed help.
This made me really happy for you, and now I’m going to look up deer man. It sounds like a skinwalker, but you graciously capitalized it so I could tell you hadn’t changed because your therapist told you the deer man would get you if you don’t.
I hope you are still well and staying the course for yourself and your loved ones who care about you 😊❤🙏
Dude I hope life has continued to improve for you. What an awesome and inspiring comment. Thanks for sharing this!
I've handed Dr. Grande a similar compliment. Told him that I can hear him analysing my life as I make my daily decisions.
Hope all is still pushing along in a positive direction for you. Thank you for sharing your story
Well he seems to think this guy should be in prison regardless if he had anything to do with it. If you think that's okay you're an idiot. Don't ever think that you won't get sent to prison for a crime that you didn't commit. I don't care what kind of person he is. I could come in your house wearing a button down shirt, I could rip the buttons of and run outside screaming for help. Then what? Figure it out.
switching over from watching Dr. Grande's back catalog to a fresh episode-- absolutely the most consistent UA-camr!
No joke, I found him from the bob lazar episode and have gone all the way back to the beginning and now I just have to wait and watch only 1 day. Let’s see if we can get him to do 2 a day.
Greedy!
I love how Dr. Grande keeps a straight face when he is cracking a wise remark!
I love it when he racks a smile. Lol
Stop, speculate and listen! Doc is back with a brand new session!
Van Winkle couldn't have said it any better!
I see what you did there 😂
Tracey sure was a dreamer. Thinking he came anywhere near looking remotely like those celebrities enough to be their body doubles. That was the funny. I will never understand why a woman is so easily fooled by a mans looks, and vice versa. Looks means nothing. Intellect, kindness and respect means everything. Once a man or woman disrespect you, just once, leave. If you allow them to get away with it once you've just told them they are free to do it again and again until they've broken you. No one is worth that. Life is better alone.
Funny this is the lady at 2:08 actually looks like a young Edie Falco.
Disrespects you once? I mean
I guess I'm kinda old. I mean disrespects you how? Like I guess there's levels to that. Idk.i would have settled for being disrespected once a day with my late husband. Probably explains why I love being old and single. Ok. Sorry. Proceed.
Body doubles dont really need to look like the celebrities, they just need to be a similar build and coloration (skin tone, hair color, etc)
Like the tid bits of info we get in the comments! Always learning!
Well, Vin Diesel... another odd ball at the same tier of psychological complexity than these guys.
“...it didn’t make sense to them how somebody could be attractive but not a good romantic partner.” That’s a very insightful statement, for many people it is difficult to discern the difference between the two, especially if the attractive person is also charming de manipulative.
Excellent review Dr. Grande.❤️
Also, only 5k to 800k subs!✨
Yeah see, that one was really difficult to accept. Apparently, I AM a freaking genius after all, and that explains everything. Frankly that made me LOL, but they're so HOT, how can they be homicidal? 😂 Just another day in Narcissist Nation.
Lots of really charming, attractive, people are perfectly awful to others. Good hearts and good looks don't always go together.
Just use common sense. A lot of people get in denial. And if she did this on her own he should not be in prison for the crime. If she really did this on her own we have another innocent person in prison. You go to prison for a crime you are charged with not for being an asshole. You can be next.
Dr grande im concerned with the disproportionate amount of cases you cover in my city
I think the fact that Ashley admitted she was the one who suggested murder and also fell asleep while waiting to kill Sandra speaks volumes to her character, not totally manipulated and controlled by Tracey.
You clearly, and sadly, don't know how narcissistic abuse work.
But she’s a woman so it doesn’t matter
Agreed! She wasn't any better than him, perhaps worse. Rather than her being a "victim" of his controlling nature, perhaps she was his sole mate!
I've seen documentaries about the case before, and it is very clear that he was the manipulator and she the young, naive and scared party who craved love and wanted to 'save' her man and thus, sadly, was all too easily manipulated. She also was sorry for her deed (and very guilt-ridden), something he will probably never be. How anyone can find him attractive is beyond me, he gives me the creeps. Love Dr. Grandes slight: "One would think that this would be a hopeful thought […]. Never finding somebody like Tracy Humphrey would be a good thing." And horses are actually highly sensitive and intelligent beings (but because they are usually kind and gentle and flight animals, people often don't give them credit for that), so: well done, horse and horse-human ❤️❤️!!
@@ember1794 I've seen a documentary on this as well and I agree. It's been a while but if I remember correctly when Ashley met him she was a young, overweight, naive, insecure girl. Tracey put her down for her weight, controlled what she ate, forced her to exercise, etc. I don't think she had the best homelife either. Tracey manipulated her from the beginning. Probably love bombed her in the beginning before turning into an abuser. Not saying Ashley doesn't deserve what she got, but sometimes it is hard not to feel a little bad for someone like Ashley, who probably would have never committed a crime if she didn't meet Tracy.
'Like' if you listen to Dr. Grande's closing script each time even though you know it by heart.
All the ritual pieces are important to the whole! Not saying it's a cult but...
She's convinced she's going to be the 'one woman' to change 'her man' for the better! 🤣
😆🤣😭😢
I'm a touch surprised that you didn't perform analysis on Tracey (or a personality similar to Tracey's). He seems like a textbook narcissist.
I would love a deep dive into his personality disorders.
Or the horse, or a horse similar to the horse.
@@simonw1313 glad we on the same page
yes that would be useful to look at his upbringing. He could have had experienced some type of violence in his childhood too. That could have influenced him to have that immature type of personality. The behaviour that includes tantrums and demands of being liked by all ppl around usually stops at 3ish yo. Being immature at this age leads to disappointment with ppl and life in general, then leads to aggressiveness, manipulations and so one. Sorry for my lengthy speculations.
and antisocial
Always amazed by Dr. Grands’s intimate knowledge of guns...
Imaging a dream world where a video begins with Dr. Grande at an outdoor range with an FN PS90 ... after emptying 3 magazines with perfect accuracy Dr. Grande turns around and looks at the camera and says: “Hi, this is Dr. Grande. Today we are going to discuss the 1995 crime drama ‘Heat’ starring Robert Di Niro”
People will never give up their cell phones, even when they are sure to incriminate them!
Or their shoes.
Unless there is a warrant then there is no legal obligation to hand over anything.
@@sixthsenseamelia4695 Pathetic and sad how many don't know their rights and will simply bend over and spread them just because someone tells them to.
@@kathyclark8274 It's social conditioning. The government has been brainwashing kids since kindergarten, teaching them to be open and trusting cops, against their best interest. When they grow up, this habit becomes subconscious, don't think about it. They just do it with out thinking.
I have never been more grateful for adult incontinence underwear as I was after watching this one!🤭🤣👏
You crack me up!!!
Dr G’s knowledge of human behavior AND firearms always blows my mind 🤯
Yet he thinks it's okay for this guy to be in prison for a crime he didn't do. We don't put people away for being assholes. It is not cool for somebody in his field to even think about making a remark like that.
Why is Vin Deisel standing in his underwear next to that guy?? 😂😂😂😂I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard! Thank you Dr Grande for your analysis and your wicked sense of humor!💖💖
So Tracy’s actual name is Timothy, but he PREFERS to be called ‘Tracy’? Bad decision #1
Tracy is a family name, then they started naming boys that name as a first name, then girls. I think it sounds too masculine for a girl. It sounds like a guy’s name like Carson or Tyler which are also family names.
Me thinking how Tracey is a nickname for Timothy 🤨🤔🤷♀️
Ever heard of Tim?
Maybe a fan of Tracey Ullman? He sure can't break away.
LMFAO 😂😂😂 So true!
Yeah Tracey is usually just a name on its own
I was thinking that he may have wanted a gender neutral name since he was bisexual. Tracey fits the bill ....
I can’t believe a horse and their carer had better instinct and communication than the prison guards…
🐴🐎🎠
Tracey worked at the Inferno and took Ashley to " Road to Perdition". What could go wrong? Moving on to the cacti, I'm not diagnosing them since they are actual cacti, so I'll analyze their personalities using the acronym OCEAN.They are Open to experience (lots of travel) have moderate Conscientiousness, are high in Extroversion (check out the cactus party table )and Low in Neuroticism having their Maslow basic needs for practically no water amply met.
Renee Libby: loved your comment. Very funny!
hahaha you win the internets for today, maybe even for the week. =)
You forgot about Agreeableness. Great comment though.
@@MusicJustin15 oh darn! They seem high in Disagreeables - very prickly.
I started a new job and haven’t been able to comment right when a grande video drops 💧 but I hope everyone here is having an amazing day ! Grande crew unite , and sending positive vibes!
The crew is glad you're back!😎
That’s so kind of you! I hope you’re having a great day too and I’m sending light and positivity you’re way too!
TY Miranda, coming right back at you!😘
Too funny! Asking for a lawyer was the smarted thing she’s ever done!
Her lawyer said her interview should be shown to all first year law students bc she was so steadfast in her demand for an attorney...at least she did well in that regard. As for the rest of her story...very sad
“Unstable sexual relationship” god I miss those 🤣
😂😂😂
Lol
Fifteen likes !? Suspicious!
*I don't! Sex is easy to get, stability isn't. Therefore, stability is more valuable than sex is. Now, when a person finds **_BOTH?!_** In the same person? THAT'S the ultimate right there!*
@@bthomson ....😂😂😂
I ❤️ listening to his perfectly monotone voice. It’s intoxicating. Also I appreciate his thoughts on Dr. Phil.
Imagine being so nonchalant that you fall asleep waiting to commit a murder. The horse was the only one using critical thinking skills when dealing with Tracey.
Yes...its Dr Grande time!!
Ahhh the Green Iguana…arguably THE stupidest place in FL. Rifles don’t like being seen in public without pants 🤣🤣🤣
What does rifles don’t like being seen in public without pants mean?
Ok watched more of the video and I get it
Why would women be scared to lose a violent liar? He isn’t that cute… no one is ever that cute. Except my husky, he’s cute but thankfully not a liar or violent meathead.
Get a room
I can't understand that other than duress, how being the triggerman in a gun murder can get you a lesser sentence than the one who manipulated you to do it.
That doesn’t make sense.
@@elleblue07 I fixed it.
Ashley: *i ain't squeaking. no matter what, they're not gonna get me to talk*
Detectives: you know he was borking your hairdresser?
Ashley: >:0
"Why is Vin Diesel standing in his underwear next to that guy?" is a visual I'm proud to imagine 🤣
Love your videos and your cacti, Dr. Grande!
😂 that was a good one
Lol
I remember this case; I hope she gets enough mental help in prison before she's released. Ya know we teach sex-ed in health class, but we don't teach about the dangers of making these romantic choices. Dating a psychopath will kill you faster than any STD...or STI, whatever they call them now. Great video and important topic. (Valessa Robinson case)?
Great observation. I wish this could be taught along with sec education.
Another video!! Looking forward to your analysis and dry humorous remarks!
You are the one therapist I actually enjoy! Thanks for giving me some faith in the proffesion, I should maybe stop avoiding mine.
There may be an R but there's only one f.😇
Yet he thinks it's okay for this guy to be in prison for a crime he didn't do. How professional of him.
Props for the Harm Reduction book
"...the inclusion of the horse in this narrative *increased* the average amount of critical thinking skills involved in this escape"
😂Classic Dr. Grande.
Dr. Grande, the horse competency comment was hilarious. I have never read other commentors on any of your videos* but I assume I'm not the only one who loves your inclusion of humor! (*I worry that the calm, reasoning atmosphere I feel when watching your videos could be ruined by base comments typical of many channels on UA-cam...)
IMO Dr. Grande's commentators are some of the best in the business! Funny, quick-witted, generous, loyal and smart! I read almost all of the comments with great interest! Try it you'll like it!😎
I am on the rifle’s side, I also do not like to be seen in public without pants.
I've heard this is a common nightmare?
None of the best rifles do.
Never been this early to not diagnose only speculate !
Tracey sounds like a garden variety roid-rage muscle head. It does seem as if the sentences should have been reversed. That said, they both sound like they ended up just where they should be.
You should watch some of his interviews. I think dateline covered this case and the sentences make sense. He was the orchestrator. Everything Ashley did, down to what she ate, was managed by Tracy.
@@DottieMinerva She had free will. She was the executioner even if he was the puppet master. Even tho we see this differently, thank you for replying to my post.
Please cover Sigmund Freud? Thanks Dr. Grande.
I've been waiting for the Doctor! Happy Hump day. Humphrey... Hump Day. Doctor, did you plan that?
Grande's prolific output is just the best. Thanks T-Bone!
Another excellent analysis. I would like to say though, I think you’re missing a great opportunity, especially in cases like this, to offer insight into situations where someone watching might find themselves in their own lives, or their friends and family. For instance, narcissistic abuse, the power of trauma bonding, the superficial charm of (somatic?) narcissists… when Ashley said she was worried she would never find somebody like Tracy, that would be an excellent opportunity to mention the absolutely addicting patterns within narcissistic/codependent relationships; how individuals who have an unhealthy paradigm of how relationships should work can find healthy relationships…. sort of boring. Like, without the extreme highs and lows of abusive relationships, people with histories of trauma might find healthy, supportive partners dull and monochromatic. Anyway, just a thought. Great work.
Agreed, narc abuse survivor here 💓
To some extent, Dr. Grande can rely on his fans to add to his excellent content as you just did!
The joke about the horse is the best one yet.
Time for Grande.
I bet the pants wrapped around the SKS jammed the bolt after the first shot. Also my horse has the sharpest senses of any animal I have ever owned. Nothing like being a prey item to keep you sharp.
Horses aren’t really prey items in North America there babies are but so are baby elephants sooo yeah but I understand whatcha mean… horses just be smart as heck yo and have dope traits
That explanation seems a lot more likely than Dr. Grande's.
Yay Dr. Grande!
"Aww, he's stalking me. This must be love. Let's get tattoos."
I’ve never heard of a man named Tracey before 😯
Does anyone else replay their favorite Dr. Grande homicide videos so they can fall asleep? He has that perfect cadence for drifting off to a good murder. My favorite one is the Scott Peterson case.
Who else was looking for patterns in the brick wall?
I do. I thought I was the only one.
I always debate with myself whether the table on the right is slightly wonky
Let's admit it! We're obsessed!
Admissions like Ashley's are also made with the intent to help the person with the longer sentence. Obviously, ineffectively.
Dr. G, I have a random question.
When you watch movies, do you shut off your analytical mind, or are you constantly "speculating about what might be happening" with every character? For example, when you watched The Dark Knight for the first time, were you questioning the Joker's openness to new experiences? Do you consider "ocean" with most villains? Or, do just shut off your mind and watch the movie? lol I'm genuinely curious how your mind works.
Interested, following
@@samuelhenry8366 welcome brother! I hope he answers too because I'd really like to know.
Studied psychology , most folks i know and me myself can tell that it is hard to stop analizing.

With his psychology 101 class that he is offering us here on You Tube
I think we are also doing the same
I have personally realized that I am speculating what might be happening in a situation in the movies 😝
"...rifles hate to be out of style or be spotted in public without pants...." OMG I'm rolling on the ground laughing!
PS.
Dude. Id rather date kind hearted Quasimoto than a mean spirited, man like Tracey.
*You speak the TRUTH!!!* 💯

Always great analysis. I’m also enjoying your podcast!!
I am always amazed by Dr Grande's knowledge of firearms..
This dude knows waaaay too much about guns.
I like it.
He knows a lot about everything!
Wonderful analysis! I know you touched on the couple's age difference, but the gulf between their lived experiences cannot be fathomed without mentioning that Ashley was a teenager when they met, while Tracey was in his late 30s.
So enjoyable to start off an evening walk listening to you. You made me laugh out loud three times tonight.
So happy, hello dear Dr. Grande!!
The mental image alone of the unlikely combination of a horse, two dim-witted guards, and a waiting helo set to flutter, parked on a convenient basketball court somewhere to assist in Tracy's escape has all the requisite ingredients for a great joke, but I can't stop laughing long enough to come up w/ a coherent punchline.
They're both disgusting human beings!
Your knowledge of weapons is impressive, Dr. Grande!
I've heard and watched about this story on all the crime show channels. Looking forward to your take on it !

What does Dr T wear on his bottom half?😂
If you look at the whole list of videos you can see many shirts in a row! 👕🌈
What a sad case.
Great video Dr Grande!!
I'm not here for the crazy relationships. I'm here for the plants. Trying to figure out their message. Is it simple square dancing, with dosey doe's? Or more.
However, I've learned that IN A RELATIONSHIP, CONFUSION is a red flag. THAT'S YOUR SIGN! RUN!
ANY abuse isn't worth it.
Blah blah blah we always think we can beat the system and change someone. YOU CAN'T! RUN!

Well said!
Very interesting case. Thanks for bringing it to us.
keep 'em coming Doc!
Great video Dr. G. Very sad and interesting case.
I enjoyed your analysis of this case. I think Ashley may have been attracted to Tracy BC she was looking for a Father figure. I can't see myself at that young age being attracted to a man that old. Just my thoughts.
Thank you Dr Grande for another interesting case analysis. I just watched an episode of the Bella Grande group. It was very good. I enjoyed it very much.
