This is a wonderful show I hope you enjoy it a lot. There's a lot of very subtle things going on. A lot of what my partner likes to call "girl politics" because in the time period the show takes place in women don't have the same societal power as men have. So women have to exercise power in much more quiet and subtle ways and this show does a great job of showing that.
