60g chow mein noodles
180g chicken breast
150g asparagus
1 red bell pepper
1 onion
20g soy sauce
20g oyster sauce
10g honey
1g cornstarch
Black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder
6g oil
Start by chopping up the vegetables and slice the chicken breast into thin pieces. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and cornstarch in a glass and mix.
Fry the vegetables in a bit of oil for 5-6 minutes, stirring them occasionally. Meanwhile, cook the noodles for 3-4 minutes in boiling water, then drain the water and let them sit in the sink.
Push vegetables to the side of the pan, then add another bit of oil, and then add chicken breast with black pepper and garlic powder. After 1 minute flip the chicken and let it fry for another minute. Then combine everything, add the noodles and the sauce, and give everything a good stir. Done!

My 12 year old daughter saw me watching this and said “can we make that?”
That's cute :)
And my mom says that you always watch high protein tasty dishes, when you're gonna make one. Only problem is that here in India, it's hard to find that low calorie products you use in various recipes. Good recipes. I'll make this one for sure as it is doable... Replacing asparagus with carrot and that'll be great...
I would say that too
Hey man, I just want you to know i got your cookbook and it has been the absolute best during my cutting phase. Thank you for everything you do.
Thank you! Really glad that my book is helping.
That's a nice custom knife you have with your name etched into it at 2:22 mark
This has become my favourite UA-cam channel for recipes. The variety of great recipes is insane!
Looks amazing! I'm definitely going with udon noodles personally. My absolute favorite❤
Udons are great!
This dish is amazing! Tasted awesome! Gonna have it 8 times in 8 days myself🤣
Mega cool, dass du das jetzt auch auf deutsch machst!
This looks very tasty. I like to add a tablespoon of crunch almond butter or peanut butter to my stir fry’s like this. A bit of extra fat and protein, and very tasty and satiating
Do you have a link for the oil spray bottle you use? I couldn't find it on your amazon page.
Another amazing recipe! I noticed that you use spray bottle for olive oil and it looked like it's doing its job. I'm struggling to find good one, most spray a stream instead of mist. Could you send a link to the shop? It's hard to find these in Switzerland but I have access to Amazon in Germany.
I love your channel!!!!
Yo! This looks amazing 😋
Thanks
thank you
What do you think about Schwarzwaldmilch 75g protein per liter?
I think it's too expensive. 1.5% milk has 40g protein and cost half
Fastest I ever been to a video
this is one of my regular rotation meals except i typically use soba noodles.
Looks like you're doing it in opposite direction. First is meat, then vegetables (to leave them crispy) and then the sauce. Everything under few minutes in wok. Then either add noodles or skid it over rice.
Are the noodles gluten free?
fuck me this looks so good. have been following you for a while. loved the shirataki noodles recipe i’d make consistently for a months when cutting. guna cook this up on the weekend
Nice.
is it still considered healthy with that much of soy sauce, honey and oyster sauce?
Yes, why wouldn’t it be? Those three ingredients add flavor and nutrients to the dish. Unless you have dietary restrictions on your sodium intake, there’s no reason these things should be considered unhealthy for you.
Always surprised when i hear you in german lol.
2:23 The chicken will slice easier if you put it in the freezer for an hour or so to firm up a bit. Just make sure you don't let it actually freeze obviously
There is a Japanese noodle (I forget the name) but they have almost literally no calories or carbs, but they're pretty expensive in The US, they may be as well in Germany/Europe but IDK
Shiratake Noodles. They also don’t digest (therefore no calories) so they will leave your body in the exact state they entered in, sort of like corn.
Yeah, don't take momentous if you're on a blood thinner, unless you want to end up in the ER.
Gerne weiter so :)
I've noticed a lot of your videos talk about protein content what about carbohydrates? A lot of us are trying to keep them low. For people on the keto diet 30 g of carbohydrates per day is the limit. I'd love to see more options without noodles or rice. Great video as always! 😊
You could use shirataki noodles instead, they are almost zero carb.
Thank you but I'm a big fan of carbohydrates. There is no way I would like to live a life without fruit, potatoes or noodles so they will be always a big part of this channel. Also I don't like carbophobia and don't want to send the wrong message that eating carbohydrates is bad
It's 2024. Why would you do the Keto scam??
Just eat under your daily calorie intake limit and at least 0.5g protein per kg bodyweight
Keto diet is originally developed for treating epilepsy and has been started for losing weight somehow!!. That might be a good innovation for weight loss but it’s really really difficult to follow it compared to low calorie nutrients diet. You may start to follow keto but one point time in life you will fed up and discontinue for sure. Life will be boring without carbs for sure!!
@@Feluthis is awesome reply sir!!
Hallo, kann ich fragen wie gros und schwer du bist
Klar, ich bin 1,74 groß und wiege um die 71
Please buy a bigger cutting board for meat -.-
But nice recipe!
😂
I respect what you are doing here for free and to help people become healthy.
But I hope you show a bit more cultural acknowledgment and respect. Udon is not used in Chinese cooking, and neither is honey in chao (炒) / fried ; mian (面) /noodles.
Also you are missing the fundamental holy trinity of chinese cooking 葱-姜-蒜 (spring onion, ginger, garlic). Also just based on the ratio, I think that is way too much soya sauce, it will be too salty.
I recommend you learn a bit about what is real authentic chinese cooking and then do some adaptations to make it calorie friendly.
Food is food
@@jesusthroughmary you're lost then, why even bother watching these? Food is food, just go boil a potato.
Hey Felu, I got your cookbook last week and I have to say my wife loves the cheeseburger bowl!! I smelt it and it smells like a big Mac lol
Glad you enjoy it!
