Yes but it's better if served with cooked rice If you have out of rice in a plate but still have a steak and potatoes in your plate is you can get another cup of rice until you get full hehehe it depends on you
Good cook with the steaks, using the cover with the taters is a technique that I had not used before, i was quartering them, so they cook faster but I like your dome method,
Absolutely fantastic Todd, perfect doneness! Amazing cook, On my way to Colorado 😂. Hope you and the family has a super and blessed weekend! Cheers my friend
Hey, Todd!! This has nothing to do with steaks, but, my daughter and I went to SmashBurger and she got a Colorado SmashBurger, it looked good🥴, but if you do the research, can you make it a lot more tastier? I’m sure you can. And those steaks you just made, could have fed my platoon!!!! DANG DUDE!!!! Cut the meat from the bone, ya’ll can have the meat and I’ll take the bones!!! The steaks are awesome looking!!!
There are a lot of seasonings that I cannot handle anymore since I've had my gallbladder taken out. I still use salt and pepper and quite frankly, I am a big fan of just using that. But I can use parsley and I have used butter to cook my steaks. Every now and then I use season salt. That doesn't bother me too much. Straight up garlic or onion powder I cannot handle. I am 65 and it seems the older I get, my stomach just gets more sensitive. But man, those steaks look awesome.
Dude...I smoke mine on my pellet grill to 115. Let them rest for 15 minutes. I light the afterburners on my Blackstone to finish. Give it a go! Great content.
I've got a unused tub of that blackened steak seasoning in the cabinet I've been to scared to use on a steak. I'll be going for it next time I got a steak on. Looks great!
Hey, Todd!!! You know I’m sensitive to spice [like the “hot” tongue/throat-burning type]…. So, would you please tell me what level “blackened” is when it comes to fish-some of you guys’ recipes-steak, etc.? I’m afraid to buy any of those seasonings because of that… how much “kick” is there? I know I know, it’s subjective… But, there’s GOTTA be a standard measure SOMEHOW…
Steak looks great. I just got my 1st Blackstone and loved the potatoe idea also. Will have to give that one a try.
Enjoy your new griddle, Jeff. Thanks for watching!

Absolutely fantastic Todd, perfect doneness! Amazing cook, On my way to Colorado 😂. Hope you and the family has a super and blessed weekend! Cheers my friend
I never put steak sauce on my steak, but I love it on potatoes. I, however, would have sauteed some mushrooms as well!

Sounds like the reverse sear method, I’ve heard of people getting great results
Nice cook🔥
I enjoy my steak at about 140-145, but I luv ribeyes👩🏽🍳
Looks yummy 😋 I'm hungry 😋
I've got a unused tub of that blackened steak seasoning in the cabinet I've been to scared to use on a steak. I'll be going for it next time I got a steak on. Looks great!
From now on, wherever I am, whatever the task at hand, when someone asks me what I am doing, the answer will be:
"I'm monitoring the potatoes !"
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
looks good
Good job Todd! I just got 4 beautiful Boneless NY strip steaks about 1" thick for $20 on sale. I'm going to prepare them same way you did. Thanks.
At the end of the day, how long do you think the potatoes took?
Killer!!! Let’s Give It A Try 🥩
Looks great and you can’t go wrong with medium rare less is better
Man i get good tbones about $5 each at the mexican market. But this looks alright, seasoning seems a bit burnt.
Maybe add some parm cheese on the potatoes or some mozzarella.
That would be delicious!
Killer!
I officially have no more need for my gas Weber, or charcoal Weber. In Todd we trust!
Everything looks amazing. Still weird watching Americans holding forks haha it's like foreign to them
Yes, all 330 million of us hold forks that way.
Bone-in steaks are not easy to sear on a griddle. Pretty great results there!

🥩 🥰
looks like to me you got those in todays economy 🤣
How did people manage to cook without a thermometer?? Christ on a crutch...
definitely not a steak expert....but good job. Never squish your steak. I see what you were doing for the sear,....sold me....
