Holosun make really good optics. I’ve had 1 green for my rifle for about 5 years still the same battery. Not I have 2 407k X2 green dots. I’ve had not 1 issue out of any of them. I would most definitely buy them again
If you run your weapons hard and you live and work in austere conditions,I would not trust these optics at all.Before I became a Trooper,I was a Combat Diver in Special Forces and the only optic we could trust were Trijicon RMR’s.If you tried seawater immersion and over the beach crossings every day and not clean your gear,how long do you figure your Chinese made Holosuns would operate before giving up the ghost?
Changing internal parts on Glock always runs into problems. When it's my EDC and my life could depend on it I don't want to take the risk. I do like the Red Dot though I'm interested in getting one that's why I'm here.

I'm using one of the rapid engineering backstraps on my G48, and I like it. It allows me to get more support hand on the grip. Might be worth a try. They are on amazon.

The Streamlight is only 5000 candela.Decent light for close quarters.I run it on my G19 and it’s perfect for off duty.Working I run a Surefire X300T.Far better,but you can’t conceal it.

I have a Glock 48 and my Streamlight sub keeps snapping mounting screws , don’t know if it’s because my support thumb is on it when I shoot, but I got a brass screw from the hardware store and it seems to be working better, anyone else have this problem?
Streamlight sent me 3 extra factory screws under warranty but they keep snapping like the original. So I modified a local hardware store screw I think it’s brass not sure.

Only use OEM magazines in Glock pistols. All after market magazines are JUNK. As James Yeager said, if you want 15 rounds, then carry a Glock 19. RIP James.
I’m not saying I agree with James Yeager about everything,but I jumped on the 43X bandwagon and also the Shield Arms wagon too-and had all sorts of problems with those mags-gen 2 and 3’s.I’m back to my G19,and I will say this-inside the waistband,I don’t notice much diff,but on the range and the street-the G19 is king.Still.Zero malfunctions in over 24K rounds and less recoil than the 43x as well.Trusted the G19 on 4 combat deployments to Afghanistan and in the most ungodly conditions..always works,and holds 16 with one up the snout.

I run a green eps carry on my edc, 1st battery was still kicking after 1 yr and I keep my dot right under the brightest setting

I conceal my 17 with X300T but not when it’s hot. It’s a beast to conceal

Can that holosun mount on a 43x mos without a plate? if not, does the plate make the stock glock sights unusable?

Brass would be more malubul meaning it will bend and flew, vs steel when you harden it, the steel can become brittle and snap.
