I also carry the 43x as my daily, very comfortable. I use the Werkz M6 IWB for my holster, and the Swampfox Sentinel Micro as my red dot, I highly recommend both!

I know this video is 3 months old so you're probably aware of the new Trex Raptor holster, but man that thing is sweet. I carry my 19 with it and it's super comfy/concealable. And with the monoblock clip it is super slim and takes up little belt space. Would highly recommend (also sweet videos, earned a sub!)

Only ever worn garmin watches but I couldn’t recommend them more. Currently use a forerunner 245 great battery and fitness/sleep tracking but I think they make some tactical versions now as well
You’re so right about the shield mags they are pure unreliable trash. I switched to the PSA and they’ve been 100%
I was using the gen 2 shield mags.I never tried the gen 3 shield mags. I’ve heard they’re hit or miss though.

We have very similar edc setups. One thing I would highly recommend checking out is the streamlight wedge flashlight. They have a couple different versions now I believe
I bought that original wedge for my girlfriend in ‘22. She carries it in her purse every where she goes. I saw the new XT model and that looks interesting. I might pick one of those up for myself.
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro SS for the watch. Like it way more than my ultra. Nice video.

Sick video man! I have a few more months left until my 21st birthday and I was trying to decide between G43x and SIG P365 before I realized the G43x isn't even legal in CA so I guess the state made the choice for me. I also feel like that's the least of my concerns as getting a CCW in the Bay Area is going to be even more of a tedious process. On another note, you should definitely do a room tour next because I think I spy a DDJ FLX6 back there (a man of culture I see), PLUS I love the sick minimalist gaming setup you got going on in the back with what I believe is the Ikea Karlby countertop as a desk? Super well thought out room, earned a new sub. Keep up the good work and amazing video quality! Wish my Fuji XH1 shot video like this haha.

I’ve always found it challenging carrying a normal wallet & iPhone, but your video shuts me up quite a bit 😂 Oh I forgot a bic lighter & pack of cigarettes as well. Besides me, I like your set up bro 🤙🏼 I know you avoid medal detectors like a plague! And to answer your question about an edc wristwatch, I’d go g shock multi band 6 solar, blacked out.
Check out the G-Shock 2100. I just picked one up and i love it. It’s not a bulky g shock and has all the nice features, while keeping a lowkey sleek look. Love the dump!

Go with garmin over apple. I’ve used the og garmin instinct all over the country edc at work, hunting, camping on mountains, hiking, swimming kayaking in oceans and in Alaska. Run with it at least 3 miles a day. I beat the shit out of it and it’s as good as day one. Long battery life unless you just use gps 24/7. Honestly the perfect affordable watch. Especially now with the newer versions out.

Nice EDC set up. I also don’t go any where without my air pods 😂. Idk if that good or bad but I gotta have em on me at all times for random phone calls and multi tasking.
Airpods are great! I kind of want to get the gen 2 airpod pro bc I heard the noise canceling is 2x better.
Moved from Apple Watch to the Garmin Instinct. It is smart-ish, battery lasts a couple weeks between charges, and does what you need.
Everyone is recommending Garmin, I just ordered the Fenix 7s Pro. We’ll see how I like it.

Loved this video you have some solid skills my man, both on the pistol and the knives, have you considered taking some basic medicals eg TQ or wound packing gauze? Again great video I’m from Ireland so unfortunately no ccw permits here, but I do have my own edc, I’d highly recommend the Casio GD-350 stood the test of time for me in basic training and Recce courses, I’ve recently purchased a Garmin Fenix 7 solar love this too

You should check out some G9 EHPs. About 80grain projectile and super light weight to carry.
Watch : Seiko 5 . Casio. Citizen . Longines . Tissot prx ( the quartz version )

If you’re going to get a non smartwatch I’d go with Tudor Black Bay 54 or Pelagos. Omega is a great brand as well.

Do you get a full slide lock with those micro dagger mags? I bought 2. One wouldn’t lock back on empty and the other barely pushed up on the lever causing it to only partially engage the notch in the slide. I sent them both back for a refund.
I've had no problem with slide lock with the mags... although, when I was shooting this past Saturday, I had one mag fail to feed. I need to do some more testing on the mags.

You should check out the exceed design tirant v3 pocket knife. Had it for years and dont need to worry about the blade ever becuase its replaceable.

How’s the psa mag holding? I’m still deciding which I’m going to get psa mag or shield arms mag. Have a G43X MOS too felt so nice for edc. Previously I’m carrying G45 MOS 😅
At first I really liked them, but I just ran into some a feeding issue two days ago at the range with one of the four I own. I need to do some more testing. I would recommend the PSA over the shield arms though. I had 4 shield arms mags and had problems with every single one of them. I had replaced my mag catch and everything and almost every time I used them they wouldn’t feed properly. I like how the PSA is over molded with plastic so you can keep your OEM mag catch, it’s nice to be able to run your stock mags and aftermarket mags.
Hamilton Khaki Field Auto in 38mm is a great every day
What mag release did u get? Mines is doing the same thing it’s not dropping when u try to eject the mag.
I don’t have any issues with the mag falling free. I use the stock mag release.

Its Goon Tape on the grip, pretty much just hockey tape.

Idk if those are the same round that you’ve carried for 3 years but I recommend changing your ammo every 6mo to 1yr I just wanna be clear I’m not an expert but it’s always better to be safe then sorry I change my hollows out every year

I like my holosun! I've never had any issues with it. The EPS carry came out after I bought the 507K, if it was out when I was in the market for a dot, I would've bought it instead.

I'm leaning towards Glock myself, curious if you have experience with the G19 and/or G17, and how they compare to the 43. I have smaller hands so I feel like the 43 ergos' would be a good fit. Any insight would be appreciated. Keep it up homie.
Thanks for the sub! I used to carry a Glock 19 with a TLR7A. I carried it for around a year and half maybe? That’s the largest size gun I would carry. I’ve found that after a day of carrying for 8+ hours, the 19 would really start to get uncomfortable bc it would be pushing against my pelvis. That being said I carried my 19 with a light, red dot, spare +5 mag side car style holster so it was pretty heavy. Glock 17s grip is too long for me to conceal personally. I’m a smaller build dude so I can’t get away with carrying a full size gun. 43x feels nice and is super comfy to carry but you sacrifice performance. I would shoot my 19 in USPSA, or in any match and feel confident I could keep up with people. I shot my 19 last November in a PCSL match and placed like 40th out of 83. Not great but not bad especially when other people were running $7000 race guns. While shooting my 43x I’m not as confident. Just try to know your capabilities when carrying, IE carrying small 6 shot revolver is good for someone trying to mug you at knife point or small self defense interactions vs carrying a fully kitted out Glock 19 and spare mag is good to stop a mass shooter at a mall. Know your abilities and train accordingly.

I have the Canik Mete mc9, would you recommend the goon tape?
I like the feel of the tape on the grip when shooting also when carrying the tape stops the rough texture from rubbing up on my skin. It's personal preference.
I have the Mete and the Elementum button lock. Great combo.

I’m also tired of the short battery life from smart watches. I just got a g shock instead.
I ended up going with Garmin. Up to 14 days battery with solar charging is nice.

Main reason is because the PSA mags are 15 round capacity and OEM is 10.

Any issues with the guide rod?
No issues with the function of the firearm but I ran into a few problems with field stripping it a couple times. It would like not be in the right spot when trying to take the slide off the frame and would get suck pretty hard. I swapped back to the OEM guide rod because I was getting annoyed of having to fix that problem.

Ive heard the right optic screw needs to be shorter for the shield v2 mags to run reliably. Watch gunmenusa video on his 43x.
I milled my slide to direct mount the 407k pattern directly and also shorted the screw. Shield mags just didn't run for me.
I have a gen three I don’t use anymore.
I feel like carrying my phone, keys, wallet and some Vaseline is too much yet here you are daily carrying a gun! Sadly we don’t have the right to self defence in the UK.
