@@AliceHindustani I happen to like the Atlas. I own a GTI and a KIA Sorento so I'm not biased in favor of either brand. If you're going by MSRP the only Atlas that comes in around $40K is the SE AWD and a V6 with tech AWD and an optional sunroof. But configured that comes in around $45. And it doesn't compare favorably with the top trim SX/PP Telluride at around $48K. Item for item the Telluride is considerably superior. A more upscale interior, far better infotainment and sound, a more modern engine running the Atkinson cycle, better fuel economy, and a wealth of details the VW lacks.
It's true that VW dealers are far more willing to deal than KIA dealers. You may be able to pick up an Atlas for $3K or more off MSRP. If you're willing to wait for several months you can probably purchase a Telluride for MSRP while you can take your pick of a lot full of Atlases for less money. The reason? That's obvious. It's not that KIA dealers are villains and VW dealers are generous souls. It's because Tellurides are in heavy demand and short supply.

Thank for your response.
I own 2021 Atlas SEL with technology 4 motion at 40k (taxes & title included).
I bought after so much research.
My 1st choice was Highlander. But their 3rd row and trunk is no use.
No no no
Go for Atlas 2021
Not for me. Telluride is my choice!
Kia, telluride
We just ordered a 2021 Kia Telluride today a at local dealership and we PAID STICKER. Every other dealership was ask 6-7k over and people were standing in line to buy them at those dealership. The dealership where we bought ours also add a lifetime warranty on the Telluride for NO CHARGE. The only bad thing is a four to six month wait when you order it.
Corwin Kia, Springfield, MO check them out for yourself. Talk to Tater yes Tater and Tell them Mark and Dardi sent you. But if you don’t want to then don’t we are not getting any special deal if you do use our name. I told tater I was going to spread the word and I want him to know I did. You just pay Sticker.I want them to get your business because they say we are going to be fair to are customers. Where the next closes dealership with it higher sticker price had a rep from Kia who told us that all local dealers are asking above sticker and people are paying it but he did not mention Corwin Kia.
