I cant help but stop and stare every time I see one of these things. Watched a review recently on the new Rav4 Prime which was nearly $50k as well and, while it looks like a quick car, the styling, interior and features of the Telluride are unbeatable in my book. I know where my money would go.

After extensive research and close following of the Detroit Car Show in late 2019, I purchased the first Kia Telluride SXP right off the dealer delivery truck in Seattle in early 2020. It has surpassed every performance and comfort expectation, and the Dark Moss exterior and blacked out 20" rims make it a head-turner. This was a great review. This is a beautiful car that I was considering vs the Hyundai Palisade Limited. They are both very close in comparisons and features. but I went ahead and purchased the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. It was just more roomy, more features, and warranty was unbeatable. All in all, both great cars, so it was tough to choose. Good luck!
Why it got bought instead of the Palisade, which will be anachronistic in a couple years, vs the Telly's iconic stance, ready to defy the test of time.
Omg thank you Joe I'm so happy now that I bought my palisade this year since bought palisade and telluride are increasing their prices across the board. Got a palisade limited awd (htrac) with a couple of extras including the tow package for $48,000.
Love the review and your reviews in general. quick question. It seems like in every review you do you skip over all the controls that are on the left side of the steering wheel. Do you do that on purpose or is it just an oversight?
You’re a funny guy man. Keep up the great reviews. We have a 2020 telluride and might end up upgrading to a 2021/22 midnight edition eventually. So far we really love our 2020 artic white with the gray interior
Looked at one today. Very nice but lease numbers for the SX Prestige Nightfall are $900 a month with $1500 down and that's from a high volume dealer. Apparently they are getting thousands over sticker.
Great review! No Zonks! I just bought one of these on Halloween. Black SX AWD. I agree about the Nightfall edition. In any other color it looks nice but in black it doesn’t look as luxurious. I traded in a 2019 Volvo XC60. Loved the Volvo but I needed more space. Never thought I would buy a KIA but after seeing this Review and a few others, I decided to go for a test drive and damn! I did have to shop around because everyone is charging 6k to 9k markups. Definitely recommend shopping for one at the end of the month. Dealerships are trying to hit their goals and get aggressive on pricing. Bang for your buck, the Telluride is a heck of a deal and looks great. I have gotten a few haters ask why I downgraded but once they take a closer look, they turn the hate way down. It’s a great looking suv, drives very well, has a great infotainment system and I still don’t believe how much room there is inside. My wife and I are a “no minivan ever” with two kids couple. Minivans are super practical but I still need to like how my everyday driver looks. This gives me a ton of space and more. If you are thinking about it, get it. I did test drive a Palisade as well. It was great as well but I preferred the Telluride look more. The Top Trim fully loaded was 51K. I don’t remember a mark up on those so obviously not selling as well.
I like plastic backs, they knew kids was gonna get foot loose on them. I have back seat covers because even when they are being good, snow and salt is still going on the back.
Your comments about things you can put in the spaces are priceless. “You can easily get a couple egg rolls, just drop them in there and take them to work.” 😂🤣
What a fantastic and well done walk around/review! Hands down this is the finest automobile review I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Kudos to you!! Oh wait, I almost forgot, what an AMAZING SUV too!!
Joe, you’re reviews are fantastic and I have another comment to leave for you, but please stop calling every infotainment that sits on the dash iPad style. It’s nothing like an iPad here, it’s just not integrated into the center console. iPad style is in the Ford Explorer and a few others, where it is not only sticking out from the dash but literally looks like they stuck an iPad to the dash with glue.
I've been looking at a ton of vehicles for my wife wanting a SUV. I've gotten in the habit of watching some jackleg video and then going "Wait, what does Joe say about this?" and now I just go right to Raiti's Rides. I mean I'm not spending 50 grand without Joe telling me how many Twinkies, Skittles and of course barrels of oranges I can fit in the damn thing!! Do you think I'm crazy or something??
Joe you got some skills man 😂, the way you describe cars is next level , do you make any script for that or its all natural . The one thing which i like the most about your videos is the sequence you use to explain the cars .
Another amazing review Joe. I actually want to use that tray in the center console for a couple of egg rolls now. Thank you so much for your awesome personality and presentation style, and GO KIA !! :)
I am totally open to this, I have no problem with KIA, but I would have a problem with the rearview mirror not being auto-dimming, because you said that this one was loaded with all the bells and whistles. Your camera caught the rearview in just the right light, and to me, it looks like it is auto-dimming. You can see the darkening panel on the mirror surface, but the very edges all the way around it are light.
The biggest disappointment in Kia for me was the dealership experience. I owned BMWs before, and every purchasing experience was a breeze. Kia dealer would try to nickel and dime you for everything, just a $750 doc fee was a fun thing to discuss:) Why did I have to fight over a 3K markup during a pandemic where every customer is a blessing everywhere? This is a thing with these budget brands - even while their cars get better and in some cases (like this one) can match many upper class traits...dealer network cannot adjust to a more luxury car performance. Too bad, as I won't be getting a Kia anymore after this lease ends. I value my nerves more than extra 20k. Because mental health is more valuable than brain suck during talks with these bottom-feeder sales managers.

Congrats! The Telluride is awesome at all trim levels!
You have good space with the three kids in the telluride?
@@pmpandy4911 yes, the reason I bought the base trim LX. They can all sit in the bench seat 2nd row and our luggages go to the 3rd and back.
Joe - you da man!!!! Great job once again!
Thanks Axel! I really appreciate that!
Best non luxury brand suv for the money right now. Love it.
I love this color of this SUV! Nice job Joe.
You do car reviews so great!!! Nice and consistency.
Agreed....been saying for over a year that if i ever needed a vehicle this size, an SUV, the Telluride would be the one. No doubt.
You have good taste!
Good luck!
Thanks Andres for the compliment and letting me share it with you! Congrats on your new Palisade.
Nice touch with the historical reference to Telluride, CO -- thanks!
You are so very welcome. Thank you fore letting me share it with you!
Great review. Love that Dune Brown Nappa leather interior with the dark headliner.
This will age with class 😎
I totally believe it Emiilio!
“Especially if you have kids in the back and you’ve got some kind of creeper looking in the windows” 😂😂 @13:13
The “oh crap handles” 😂
I am glad that I can share some laughs with you!
Raiti's Rides always
Why can’t this model be available in Canada ? 😒
Love the review and your reviews in general. quick question. It seems like in every review you do you skip over all the controls that are on the left side of the steering wheel. Do you do that on purpose or is it just an oversight?
Gotta do the SX Nightfall edition review 🤩 just ordered mines today.
You’re a funny guy man. Keep up the great reviews. We have a 2020 telluride and might end up upgrading to a 2021/22 midnight edition eventually. So far we really love our 2020 artic white with the gray interior
Thanks Martin! I am so glad that you are enjoying your Telluride!
Looked at one today. Very nice but lease numbers for the SX Prestige Nightfall are $900 a month with $1500 down and that's from a high volume dealer. Apparently they are getting thousands over sticker.
This is so very true!
will you test drive with full review the Kia 2022 Telluride . I like the way you give your presentations. Thank you.
Wonderful review with humor...awesome !
I like plastic backs, they knew kids was gonna get foot loose on them. I have back seat covers because even when they are being good, snow and salt is still going on the back.
Your comments about things you can put in the spaces are priceless. “You can easily get a couple egg rolls, just drop them in there and take them to work.” 😂🤣
All your reviews are outstanding but really nailed this one, thanks Joe 💯
Thanks Benny! That is so very awesome of you to say!
I can’t wait until you review the 2021 Kia Sorento once it arrives!!!
I bought a moss green one last weekend, your review of snacks and extras helped make the decision. You rock! Thank you 😊
Only being able to fit a 6 inch sub is gonna be a ZONK for me. Thanks Raiti for another stellar review.
Thanks for the feedback my friend.
I just wish Kia had some rims that weren’t gloss black but still this size for this trim
That is a great point!
I love this V6, the power is enough, and you can go off road in this thing
I just bought a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Premium, it had been at the dealership not even 24 hours
My mom just ordered this car, just with the dark green. Looking forward for when it comes
That is so very awesome of you to say! Thanks for letting me share my car passion with you!
Joe you got some skills man 😂, the way you describe cars is next level , do you make any script for that or its all natural . The one thing which i like the most about your videos is the sequence you use to explain the cars .
Its telluride's top trim but still flat black colored clading.compare to palisades limited and calligraphy trim the claddings are paint matched.
The most electrifying vehicle reviewer on UA-cam.
Thanks Wille! I really appreciate that!
Another amazing review Joe. I actually want to use that tray in the center console for a couple of egg rolls now. Thank you so much for your awesome personality and presentation style, and GO KIA !! :)
My favorite suv, waiting on my 2021 now
You give honest reviews...
Hahaha love the Skittles part. Taste the rainbow, chew the rainbow, swallow the rainbow 🤣. 👍🏻 Love all the vids bro.
This makes me wants to trade my car to this. I'll wait when they come out with a hybrid version of this so gas $$$ won't be a killer.
For me it's between this and the 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum. I can't wait to see the latter in action!
I will get my hands on one next month.
Hats off to KIA on this one...they knocked it outta the park.
I could not agree more with you!
My dad is gonna get this exact car in black and with black wheels very soon its gonna be our new family car! I Cant wait!!!
