The Assassins will look through Basim's memories (AC Mirage) to learn about Basim, his past, and his Isu past (a weird job interview for Basim). Basim will help the Modern Assassins while William Miles will help him find his children in the various Isu simulations and programs in later to be shown Isu Temples and computer systems. What most interested me is how King Alfred tried to recruit Eivor to the Templar Order. He somewhat wishes Eivor to be a Master Templar of the British Rite but accepts Eivor's decision to leave England and go through a self-understanding journey. It is likely Guthrum (Aethelstan) joined the Templar Order as his Christian cross was red with gold linings. This can be noticed when Eivor, Tyr, and Harald touched their Isu neck scars to acknowledge their Reborn Isu status and an understanding of why Eivor leaves for Vinland. Also, I believe Juno is alive and she just copied her consciousness to the Juno body that was killed by Charlotte De La Cruz during the AC Uprising event. I think the Hidden Ones and Templars were actually close allies. The Hidden Ones were later involved in defeating the Order of the Ancients who were affiliated with King Harald Bluetooth and Styrbjörn the Strong during the Late Viking Age in the 10th century. However, times of disagreements, corruption, and problems caused the Hidden Ones and Templars to fight each other some years before the start of the First Crusade. What should be understood is that the Assassins and Templars didn't know about the Isu until the Renaissance Age. However, we learn more about the Isu through non-Assassins (Kassandra and Eivor) who learn about the Isu in more detail since Ancient History and the Early Medieval Ages are when the Isu still had a strong presence in the world until it diminished as time goes on. The Isu was practically an advanced race so the real version is that the Isu is technically a utopian/dystopian futuristic society. What is interesting is that the Hidden Ones never cared about Freedom or the Isu. They cared about peace. That's all. The Assassins became dogmatic in their goals and it got worse in the 20th Century when the Assassins tolerated the indirect killing of innocents. It was safe for Kassandra and Eivor not to tell the Hidden Ones about the Isu to prevent them from being obsessed as they were.
Interesting, (I have yet to play the last chapter) but from the main game ending you see that basim is gone and Loki is the only person that remains. Unlike eivor who fought off the reincarnation seventh method basim succumbed to Loki. Loki may want to see the assassins build up again but that is because he is using them to find his children or whatever.
@@Telamonian i think they are the same person basem -loki, eivor-odin, sigurd-Tyr And they all have forgotten about the live they have lived as isu and what we have seen in eivor, is that she doesn’t want to remember the old live

I wonder why ppl hate this such masterpiece? if that's about the RPG and mythical creatures stuff well we were meant to understand about the history of the ISU, how the templar order and Assassins creed was established are in AC Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins
I really like that Eivor seemingly fell in love with the Natives and their way of life, makes you understand the trauma he had that after everything, after learning he had a god within him, all he wanted was peace.
0:48 I played as the female Eivor and I was wondering why Odin looked like the male Eivor. Now it makes sense for me and I like how they implemented this scene.
We got a weird glitch where our character is male Eivor but the cutscenes are female Eivor. I think others got the same. Maybe just confirming female Eivor is canon? Not sure
It will always be female Eivor but depending on who you chose (male/female) either female eivor is the one who talks or the male Eivor (Odin) is the one who talks.
So either William Miles will be the one to use the Animus to gain information of Basim's memories, or someone else will take the mantle as Basim provided his genetic/blood as a genetic material to extract the memories of Basim
@@deathbykonami5487 it doesn't really work in a narrative perspective, why even have William Miles receive his genetic material and extract it's memories when you have the guy himself?
@@bugs2814 I think William wants to know whether or not he can trust him. By Basim handing over his genetic memory, it shows that he has no secrets to hide from William, and therefore can be trusted
Ign confirmed Basim would be the new series modern protagonist for now, but William miles will enter Basim memories to search and reveal more secrets about the first civilization
And so Valhalla's time has for all intent & purpose's come to a close. There's still the Yule Event, unless they cancelled it, but after that I don't think they'll be doing anymore Event's after that. The face-to-face on the dock surprised me. And I so love the cutscene at the end, especially outside the cabin.
Now this might actually be the best scenes ever made in Valhalla, with much more care and focus on to their final act and outing of this game. And it is something that fascinates me nontheless. All of this, due to the fact that Ubisoft doesn't always pay respect and attention to its material but when it does, it truly brings a better ending to the matter of things. We saw the same thing and a great ending in Odyssey as well and it brings exactly the same vibes and feelings as that one did
19:49 to 21:09 I'm going to be blunt; "Ezio's Family" theme never gets old. It is the best main theme music for the Assassin's Creed series. Next Time: Assassin's Creed Mirage
Tbh I never really find it over used as non assassins creed players say it was because it’s amazing how they change it for most ac games to fit them and they give credit to the game to made them popular which was ac2. They did over use it in odyssey but it didn’t bother me as I love hearing the ezio family. The only song I wish was in Valhalla was my mother told me
I really feel Like Mirage is setting up for Desmond and Layla to return. Hear me out, Basim now has the Staff. He will do anything to reunite with his family. He clearly sees the Templars as a threat. I really think Basim will infiltrate an Abstergo facility and retrieve Desmond’s body, and bring it to World Trees. He will use the Staff to resurrect Layla and Desmond and retrieve their consciousness from the cloud back into their bodies respectively . Together they would be unstoppable and end the Templars for good.
i finished the game twice when i pirated the game and finished thrice when i bought this game on sale for the dlcs honestly even though it isnt a proper assassins creed game it was alright i feel like the conclusion to this story was good enough i will miss this game for sure. For me Assassins creed origins nailed every part for being an assassins creed game.Bayek of Siwa is still unmatched for me.
I understand the dev’s choice to make a female protagonist but for a final farewell the least they could do is allow the players to have Odin speak to male Eivor and not the “canon” female choice. Bit of a slap to immersion for players who play the male version.
@@warchiefvenomn7612 I get that, but even during the post assassination scenes we have male Eivor speaking to Odin who is an older version of the same skin. For one who plays the male version, the game immediately switching to the female ver still is a shitty way to end the game.
Eivor without a doubt a rare brave warrior n a great leader too with so many allies supporting her... She conquered the negative emotions within... She may be not an assassin but she remains mighty hidden one like bayek for such a long time until someone found her grave
A good end to an alright game. I know there’s a lot of people who didn’t like Valhalla but I enjoyed it. I’m excited to see Basim grow from a hidden one to whoever he truly is today. Is Basim really Basim, Loki or someone in between?
Personally I enjoyed this the most out of all AC games. I agree that it didnt feel like other AC games, but I dont think its neccessarily bad. As of Mirage, I'm very excited for it xD
This is what we all loved about it but all our hearts are always connected to the original assassin's creed but I hope that the next assassin's creed be about assassin's not some mythologys
This was nice but didn't seem to have much to it. A few goodbyes, and explained why Eivor went to "the new world", it seems. Fine enough of an ending, I suppose. Thanks GLP! 🐧
so we know mirage is about basim, and here i thought we were going to be playing as basim, but judging by this, hes given his blood for the animus to suggest that the next protagonist might actually be william, or maybe basim needs his own blood to dive into his memories? idk
I assume the genetic memories are coming from himself, since it was his blood sample, and the machine started extracting them. Then he said "You are in for quite a ride, Mister Miles" after that. So I assume what William asked Basim was to know more about Basim's history, and the memories (after extraction) are meant for William to view. Hmmmm, so it would make sense for William to be the protagonist, as you say, (at least partially) in the next game,, which we already know will be about Basim (pre-meeting Eivor). 🐧

Though I have mixed feelings about Valhalla and its DLCs as a whole, this was a really nice finishing note to the game's story arc. Almost reminds me of Ezio in Embers, the way it gives full closure to the character.
Ubisoft screwed up assassin‘s creed Valhalla up by not releasing new game plus and making the mistake by not putting a loot drop system in the game I hope Thay don’t make the same mistake in assassin’s creed mirage
I wish the armors in this game were more subtle. Some of them look like they belong in some other place besides 9th century England. Even things that aren't Isu usually gain an otherworldly quality that doesn't fit that well with the setting. I prefer Game of Throws style medieval and not fantasy looking stuff for this setting.
1:52 The F***k? I thought Loki fully took over Basim but he's accepting that as Basim!? I mean there's another confusion for me. Then what's the difference left between Eivor defying Odin to take over him and Loki taking over Basim? My 2nd confusion is that why Odin is appearing as Eivor here? He appeared a little different while talking to Eivor in his hall.
Loki didnt 'TAKE OVER' it isnt a parasitic relationship. His memories presented themselves to Basim and Basim accepted them. Eivor however struggles with her lineage throughout the game but has finally managed to come to peace with it but she still doesnt let it to overtake her.
You guys know that both female robot and male are canon right. The Viking in themselves is the female eivor the isu warrior known as Odin who is male got reincarnated in female eivor so they both share the same mind. If you play with male eivor then Odin is the dominating

You are genius
Interesting theory 👍🏼

My guess is that, this is what we'll see in Mirage: Basim talking to Djinn (possibly Loki).

We got a weird glitch where our character is male Eivor but the cutscenes are female Eivor. I think others got the same. Maybe just confirming female Eivor is canon? Not sure
She was already confirmed to be canon but that is hilarious!
It will always be female Eivor but depending on who you chose (male/female) either female eivor is the one who talks or the male Eivor (Odin) is the one who talks.
It wasn't a glitch
Female Eivor has been confirmed Cannon ever since the game was released.
Eivor herself has always been canon. The male choice was always just the Animus overlaying Odin's DNA on top like an avatar.
So either William Miles will be the one to use the Animus to gain information of Basim's memories, or someone else will take the mantle as Basim provided his genetic/blood as a genetic material to extract the memories of Basim
Nah Basim will use the Animus himself since he was resurrected at the end of the main story.
It would have been interesting if Basim used the Animus on himself, to uncover Basim’s memories, since Loki may not remember what Basim does.
Ign confirmed Basim would be the new series modern protagonist for now, but William miles will enter Basim memories to search and reveal more secrets about the first civilization
I just don't see how a solid 100+ hour story based game ends with anything still up in the air
We saw the same thing and a great ending in Odyssey as well and it brings exactly the same vibes and feelings as that one did
Exactly.
Here's to Mirage delivering.
The only song I wish was in Valhalla was my mother told me
Don't get me wrong, I've put some serious hours into this game, but this feels like a cop out

Male Eivor is Odin.
@@warchiefvenomn7612 I get that, but even during the post assassination scenes we have male Eivor speaking to Odin who is an older version of the same skin. For one who plays the male version, the game immediately switching to the female ver still is a shitty way to end the game.

Pretty sure Odin explain it to her, we saw that in the last part
A good end to an alright game. I know there’s a lot of people who didn’t like Valhalla but I enjoyed it. I’m excited to see Basim grow from a hidden one to whoever he truly is today. Is Basim really Basim, Loki or someone in between?

Witcher 3:Blood and Wine at home:
so we know mirage is about basim, and here i thought we were going to be playing as basim, but judging by this, hes given his blood for the animus to suggest that the next protagonist might actually be william, or maybe basim needs his own blood to dive into his memories?

The F***k?
Basim and Loki found a mutual ground with the bond of losing loved ones over people they trusted.
