There're coaches on the youtube if we really seek guidance. Brandon is one and then then Les Brown, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Tony Robins and many many more. What I do is to learn from them by listening to them, taking notes on my diary. I literally note down what they speak. I review the notes many times during my day. I also practice speaking alone on the voice recorder. It's the passion of learning that pushes me. Thank you Brandon!

Brendon I am a 10yr $300k + a year Car Salesmen.........Other than Les Brown, ZIg Zigglar, ect I have found none to catch my eye from the new generation......... You are Awesome and I am glad to have found your channel. My dealership expects 30+ cars out of me a month and I deliver every month. I love my job but at times I could not mentally make it without the help of my on-line guardians! Thanks for all your hard work and videos, you help me keep my focus and creativity !!! I don't know if you have listen to DR. Joe Despenza but you and him to me are the 2 best of this generation.

Training, lots of it from phone training "applied concepts" is great and the the foundational auto training Cardone/JoeVerde. I took almost every psychological college courses as well. Half the job as a salesperson is to alleviate fear and to know your customers wants and needs and that being the only goal. Last month i sold 45 and I got 45 referrals. Thats is how I like it, not relying on dealership traffic but you must build and service your customer base. ;)

Sales gave me the opportunity that I would have never got growing up poor and getting in trouble. Its beautiful because it is self reflectant, if you have a bad month its your fault. But yes fellow David it feels great, I worked hard to get there. But if you enjoy being around people and cars you can have it as well. Just remember emotion is transferable so its important that every potential customer you meet gets the focused and excited David.

D_Koch Awesome!!!! Do you offer any incentives for those people you are selling to to give referrals? I don't sell cars but I've been thinking about how I can build some type of referral plan for what I do. :)

Here's some tips for becoming successful.
      1) Take control of your health.
      2) Learn about the power of your mind.
      3) Walk in in the tracks of successful people.
I found these tips from the Mikes Brain Waves (check it out on google) without a doubt the most helpful info on success i've seen.

  • @MrEtmer

Y'know, I've been watching a lot of "plan/step to success" videos. From this video, to a video from the 50's. Nonetheless... I found that there are similarities in a lot of the steps, in all the videos.
A lot of them had these four steps:
1: Deciding what you want. (Is this something I really want to have? Am I willing to make a sacrifice?)
    2: Knowledge (Study the skill/passion.)
3: Commitment. (Keeping persistant through the rough times/spend time and effort.)
4: Positivity. (Think about how you can improve, rather than think why you have the issue.)
I think this means, that even as the years pass, the keys to success have little to no changes. Heh, its strange... we learn about many things in school (math, history, literature, etc), but they don't exactly teach the key to success, do they?

Brendon, what I like best is what you say about congruence: "be congruent with the best within ourselves". The magic, the Charge. It's not always easy to find. Sometimes it takes time to find your voice and to find yourself. But it's well worth it! I love this.

As always, Brendon is spot on. Listen to what he shares. Examine yourself carefully. So many rush ahead to failure because they haven't positioned themselves correctly in each of these five areas. I often help others pick up the pieces when they find they jumped in fully too soon before mastering their craft and putting the right plan together. Thank you, Brendon!

Gosh Brendon, I'm gland you spoke about coaching. As a person who studies coaching and psychology, I have been looking for a mentor/coach for a long time! It has been something that has gotten me down and out a bit because I don't know everything and I surely can't do it on my own; and when I listen to motivators and thought leaders, they always talk about how this mentor and that mentor told them such and such... I'm thinking, Where did the get such individuals to help them?! I have asked people, but they just seem to be too busy and have their own agenda. This motivated me to keep asking... why not you be my coach? Perhaps one of these days. I'm serious.
    Great video!

@Brendon Burchard , I beliave that your motivation is not just money, but truly give the view how it really woks in life - I am right? Poeple ( and me too) over think things, you keep it simple and that's effective. Thank you for your videos. It's worth milions... lifes! I wish you the best, which you will get.

I started hearing this as an ad before a Too Cute video on Animal Planet (but didn't skip right away because I was in the kitchen), and I liked what he was saying. I think I grew up with the message that being lazy meant not knocking yourself out doing this and that all day long. It's nice to know that finding my niche doesn't have to mean finding whatever pays the bills whether I like it or not.
I think if I knew in high school what I know now, I'd have gone ahead and dropped that dental assisting ROP class (what I'd settled for when Nurse Assisting was full) and gone for the floral decorating class (what I at least would have enjoyed, I think). Honestly, I ended up getting dismissed from the class anyway, and not because I struggled academically, but because I was told when I was at the crossroads, "Floral decorating isn't a secure job..." and I tried to convince myself to accept that this was the wiser choice.
Twenty-three years later, now having listened to at least PART of this, I realize that just because floral decorating may not have had as high an income doesn't mean it wasn't something I could have succeeded at. Still, I've been blessed in other ways, as my father talked me into giving the military just 4 years of my life because I was a senior with still no definite plans. Ok, I went into THAT half-heartedly as well, but in THIS case it turned out to be one of the best things I ever did. I only did 6 years, but... let's just say I am STILL reaping the benefits from serving my country back in the 90's, and I have never regretted THAT!
I believe in answering God's calling, whatever that is, but I also believe that whatever God calls us to do He'll give us a passion for it, as well as the ability to it. I think if Dental Assisting was my calling, things would have been very different for me. Live and learn, I guess.

Thank you ! And I think we also have to be prepared for our down moments, after we decided and begin to grow into our best person and new competencies. Manage the inevitable future "downs", because growing won't necessarily be constant. This might help to keep the congruence. But for some of us there is also the subject of how to improve health, cause poor health might bring more "down moments".

Wow! Now I know why you are so smart for being so young. I have built my dream life but found I am doing too much by myself. I am a speaker, facilitator, writer. I don't have the marketing passion they way you do. I seek someone who has taken your Leadership Academy who loves that side of business and would have a passion to market a great Quit Smoking Plan and Method. My goal is to do this workshop for 100 people over 3 days. I am as qualified as Tony Robbins, Lisa Sasevich and well, you. Willing to talk to anyone who has taken Brendon's courses.
