After being with Apple for 8 years, I've decided to give the S23 Ultra a try. I wasn't sure at first since I'm not used to it, but after a week of use I don't think I'll ever go back to Apple.
if you dont use your phone for work then buy it im in the security field an i take my job to seriously to buy a 2000 dollar toy with issues reviewers wont let consumers know about until after they take your money
Exactly the same here ! Been with apple since the iPhone 4 came out , made a move to the s23 ultra and wow .. took a few weeks to decide if I truly like it but now I can't see myself going back to apple 🍏

I tried the Samsung and it was all bad. The typing was off the screen view wouldn’t fill the whole screen I ended up taking it back and getting a apple again

I always fall in love with the strange colors that you don’t see everyday, that green is pretty, but the cream ultra is stealing my heart. Man those are sharp phones

Same,I myself went back and forth on the cream and lavender. In the end, though, I ended up choosing the lavender.
I didn't expect that 8k video at 12:37 to blow me away, that looks so good with the stabilization and crispness of the image.

@@razorwind5949 There two new improvements compared to the S22 Ultra 8k and that is first the fps, next the crop is greatly improved compared to the crop in previously generations.

Played with these in best buy today. I think the s23 ultra is the way to go. The flatter display is nice, but the flatter edges are very very subtle and not very noticeable. Definitely feels much smoother and faster than my s22 ultra and the camera is outstanding. 👍
As a man who got started in repair, how do you feel about Samsung taking legal action against 13 of the primary suppliers of parts of the repair industry, and seeking a general exclusionary order of any OLED screen into the country, effectively pulling up the ladder on the industry that got you started? :)

As someone who has been playing The Room 1, 2 and now 3 (with my 4 year old), this unboxing is very enticing! My son and I would definitely get this sorted, and quickly.
The Anker bit at the end has trippy audio, with Lew's voice out of one side and music out of the other. Great test of the S22 Ultra stereo speakers. I doubt I'll be be upgrading this year.

As a few differences from the Galaxy S23 series and previous S22 series, I love the new phones colours, the improvements to camera and just other minor changes

How do we know camera is improved? Because of big mp numbers? The 108mp shots on S22U are really bad

Great puzzle box, that green S23U looks really nice, I will rather cover it with a case of the same color to match. Sometimes I wish Samsung will make phones with some more vibrant colors, sometimes they have reserved those for their own online store but not for all models.

I can't decide between the S23 Ultra, and the Iphone 15 Plus (or whatever the top of the line will be). My Samsung S9+ has lasted me more than 5 years. Whichever phone I decide to go with, I'm sure will seem like a significant improvement.
The LaterCase looks sick. That finish + texture. It won't yellow like my clear cases all did, and it's slimmer. Good job. Never chosen Later Cases before

They're definitely good looking phones. I have the s22 ultra so I think I'll be skipping this series but they are definitely nice looking upgrades for those coming from the s21 series or before. The unboxing experience was nice too. Good on samsung for creativity.

I have the Z Fold 4 now, but I want the S23 Ultra so bad because of the camera and using social media apps will be better on S23 Ultra, but I know I'm going to miss my Fold 4, because of the big screen. Should I upgrade or not?
I wish Samsung made the aspect ratio of the cover screen the same as a normal phone, and with the same specs as S23 Ultra. I'd buy that phone in a heartbeat!
Really actually just depends on what you are interested in and like in the phone bro.
Me personally, I love a phone that can do tons of stuff and different capabilities and features, and isn't like the typical kinds of phones out there. So for me, the fold series would be perfect for me, but sadly hadn't been finding any good Samsung folds that meets my interests and expectations. So for now, I'll be keeping and staying with my Samsung Note 10 Plus. Hopefully the Fold 5 this Year will highly meet my expectations

I got the fold 4 and I'm happy with there product, can't go back to a normal phone again. Zero issues with the phone
I personally recommend the original 45w samsung charger if you want to charge on full 45w. From the video, you can see an anker charger enabling just super fast charging, which is 25W.
Super fast charging 2.0 is 45W.

I would pick a small s23 with the ultra cameras but since they insist that everyone needs a large phone to get better cameras, I will give a try on the ultra trading for my regular/small s21 cause I want more than 3x zoom on my pocket... Ask samsung to develop a small phone with the best camera setup as well!!

@John that's your opinion, I've been using samsung for the the last years and they are actually great, I just miss a longer zoom, 3x is useless, a crop from a 50mp sensor gets a 3x, I want a longer zoom, I'm still waiting to see how it holds up with the pixel 7pro if the cameras are at least on par, I will keep the s23ultra that I've pre-ordered ... I prefer the Samsung customizations over the stock android...

The thing that would make me upgrade from S22 ultra to S23 ultra would be if the back cameras where flat/ flush with the back . . . maybe S24 ultra :)
I'm tied between the S23+ and Ultra. I have the S21+ currently, and it has been fantastic. Photo and video quality is superb. I'm sure the S23+ will be even better. However, I'm not sure if the camera differences are drastic enough to justify going with the Ultra. Any tech geeks welcome to plug in your opinions here.

I jumped from an S10 to the S22 Ultra, so for me was a no brainer. I went for the Ultra because I was curious as to how the S Pen could come in handy for my daily routines - and it quickly became an essential! Also, the battery life is supposed to be better.

I have the 20 FE, and I absolutely love it. My fiance has the 22 Ultra. The pen is useless unless you take notes/write things down in real life anyway. Can draw with your finger just as easy. The size is hard for her to hold with 1 hand so you have to have 2 hands to use it. So if you find yourself using it one handed, that's going out the window. Only reason you'd put up with those things would be for the size when watching videos/movies or the camera

I agree with you on that, the only difference with the current S23 model vs the S22 is the upgraded camera other wise then that it's basically the same phone.
I really enjoy where samsung is headed with their phones. Got a z fold 2 a month ago, gonna use it till the inside screen is trashed and buy a used z fold 5 or six haha

As Note 20 Ultra user perspective i can approve S23Ultra is definitely a worthy upgrade 🔥. The blows and whistles is there. If you currently own S21Ultra or S22Ultra it'll be not a big different
