Today we are checking out how to install LED lighting under the Toyota Tacoma hood. Considering there is zero lighting underneath and there are times when you need to work in the engine bay, its nice to have robust lighting that can help your visibility so that you can get the job done. Plus it looks really cool! Who doesnt like lighting... Am I right?
Lets check it out....

Don't forget your sun glasses when you turn them on, lol, I only have 4 of those in the truck bed and it is more than enough to find a needle...
You arent kidding! These lights are insanely bright. Seems silly to complain about that but there is such thing as too much. The good news is there are so many LED options you can buy cheap off ebay. Chose what works best for your individual application.
Nice connection i make to my extra cab 1999 model toyota hi lux.
Love the hilux
Very well presented and articulated!
Can’t wait to install it in my Barcelona Red Tundra💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
you will love it!
Did you stick the light with the 3m they come? Did they hold up in the heat of the engine bay?
they come with 3M tape. they stick perfectly! they have not moved even through this SUPER hot summer we just had
nice video. thanks for going into detail end including visuals.
Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Thank you for your video! One question: What did you do with free cables on the driver side? Are just insulated? Thanks!
Wrap them with electrical tape and then route them under cladding.
@@PointShiftDrive thank you. So it is not a problem that the are left not connected anywhere? Just isolated wuth tape to avoid contacting metal and that's it. Correct? Sorry, the electric knowledge isn't my strongest discipline (softly said:))
@@axios76 as long as you make sure there isn’t any possibility of metal on metal contact and no water contact your fine. There are also electrical connectors you can find probably on Amazon to help. But tape is easiest.
