    $63,900 before markups.
    Quick math:
    $6,400 down (10%)
    + tax and interest (7.64)
    60 Months Payment: $1260
@12.5% of take home pay you should be earning $157,500 annually to be looking at this car (assuming the appropriate taxes are coming out of your paycheck).
National average wage (US Census): $63795.
Percentage making $150k annually: approx. 8.3%
5 Year price increase Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro:
    2019 MSRP: $42,960
    2024 MSRP: $63,900
    49% increase
Wage growth 2019-2024: 1.7% (Source: US Treasury)
These price increases far outpace inflation and wage growth.
Toyota is targeting 8% of total market. Or people who just want to act fiscally irresponsible.

The Platinum wasn't much more expensive, it can overland just fine, and I can fit 5 adults comfortably, while the Tacoma couldn't even fit an two adults in the front with a kid in a car seat in the backseat and a dog. Bonus: you can camp in the Tundra with the massive panoramic roof. The only thing I don't like about the Tundra is that it came with 20" wheels with tiny tires that come to about 30". I was really looking forward to buying this New Gen Tacoma. But after hearing some mechanical issues, and seeing the limited availability and dealer costs, I opted to stick with full size and got a new GMC Sierra.

@@lamp7746 I was smart and got the truck that I needed. I also already have a 20 year old truck. My point is, it's too bad that new Tacos aren't as readily available as they used to be and don't represent the value that they used to.

First question to any dealer is "Do you charge MSRP?" If the answer is not a no then just start walking out and find another dealer.

Great job on the video folks! Thanks for making it. I even watched the full ad read just because I know how humiliating it must have been. Think of CRAWL Control as the "OEM Stage-1 Recovery System", and it actually starts to sound like a really good idea. I've seen it get people out of some pretty gnarly situations that sure, they could probably do with recovery boards and thirty minutes, but that computer got them out in thirty seconds. The number one priority in any off-road vehicle for me is whether or not it gets me home. CRAWL is just one more tool to help it do that.

Its sad to see that this channel has become a selling point for dealerships it feels. This whole video felt like they are trying to sell us, the audience, why to buy these. Just saying the channel has become another place to advertise. Its all a big commercial 😢
