Another really interesting effect I've gotten from metallics is adding some dark grey to a metallic gunmetal or silver; I think the mix was around 50-50, along with some slight weathering on top. It looks like a matte grey, but it has this hint of metallic shine and just seems to soak up subtle hues from the environment. I painted this on a B-Wing model and it's indeed one of those models I just hold and turn around in my hand. The paint just kind of sucks you in.

Metallic green is always a winner in my book. The new Speed Paint metallics look promising. Only gold, silver and copper at the moment but they've expanded the colour range on their non-metallics pretty massively this last 12 months so fingers crossed for some new metals next.

I'll be totally honest, the reactivation thing has put me off AP for....well, for a long time at least. I know there are ways around it, and some people even use it, but it completely messed up a couple of paintjobs before I realised what was going on, and that's pretty lame. Nonetheless, whatever get's the mini painted! Glad you like the shiny green :D

@@GRGMiniatures The new 2.0 formula Speed Paint claims to have resolved the reactivation issue, and from what I've seen so far they are right. Watch it Paint it has done some in depth videos. (They've been part of the redesign.)

Are the One4 All paints water based so I can clean the brushes in water or do I need something else?
I kinda wanna see those old school pig pink glam boys, but if not then pirates, definitely pirates.

Water based, so just normal clean up. You want to catch them when they're fresh for cleaning though -- they're pretty tough paints.

I do actually have some on their pens, they're great for doing infinity style terrain, but never new if they were water or not. Some of them say you can mix with solvents to make the super adhesive but I wasn't sure how that would work with water based paints. So I assumed solvent/alcohol based.

Awesome. This approach will work just as well for Age of Sigmar Tzeench armor as well! I'm gonna give it a shot. Thanks for all you do brutha! 🤜🤛

The absolute only answer I can give on what legion I would like to see next is Red Corsairs. I feel like my 1500 pts of Red Corsairs sitting on the shelf behind me would come to life and attack if I said anything else
