Yeah so many of the new 40k models just look so awkwardly posed and bulky. Almost like they're action figures instead of statues. But aos is out there with absolutely stunning sculpts again and again and again.
The model position/compositon really showcases how keen your sculptor's eye is. Keeping the eagle at an angle frames the models face from the front, ties together the lines from the other perspectives in a fluid way, and above all heightens a sense of movement: the model strides forward launching the eagle while extending the other arm+hammer behind it. The trim on the inquisitor I on the leg is insane. In a video like this it is easy to forget how absolutely tiny these minis are, you are sculpting parts that are less than a millimeter. The individual hair strands are also blowing my mind.

This is incredible!! Your sculpting skills are amazing
Breathtaking resculpt! Now THIS is a mini that actually represents the character in lore, not the abomination big GW pumped out. Looking forward to seeing what you'll do with the paint job on him!
great video, lovely conversion, and really well explained techniques. I now need to go buy some magic sculpt as it looked incredibly nice to use - though that may just be a testament to your skills.
Okay.. that is actually a sick kitbash! Love your painting style but your sculpting skills are next level! Well done Chris
That is stunning ..
I had a conversation with a Warhammer store top boy, and we agreed that the model would have been better off as a multi part/multi choice Inquisitor for all inquisitorial houses.
This is some absolutely amazing conversion and sculpting, really inspiring!
The most impressive sculpting job I've seen yet. Those legs are superb and that hair is simple but fits so well to the character.
Dude your miniature skills are sick! And your deadpan humor is top notch! 5 stars! Or 10 stars? 🤔 ...whatever the maximum amount of stars is! Kudos sir!
Trovarion's conversion is BOSSSSS! There was a 3D model based off the cover image within 48 hours thank goodness. The GW model could be immediately improved by applying a hammer repeatedly to the designer.
All that extra sculpting you do is honestly super impressive.
I had no idea your sculpting was at that level too. Incredible job. Can't wait to see what you do with the painting!
