I do believe a certain degree of innate talent helps, a predisposition for the 3D i guess, i say this cuz i've been drawing since i was 5 and i developed my art quite well, but i never believed i had a talent there, just hard work and studying a lot, one day i decided to try sculpting with monster clay after i noticed i had an eye for it in Zbrush (digital program for sculpting), immediately i noticed it was kind of easy for me, easier than drawing, if i where to draw a face i liked i had it harder than sculpting it, got another friend of mine that also draws really well to try (he, i believed has talent for drawing and painting) and he could not for the love of god sculpt as easy, as we were talking and having fun with the clay we concluded that i had an eye for 3D and he was better at 2D, it was really interesting, cuz i can picture in my head 3D forms and shapes but it isn't so easy for me to put it in paper as it is in clay or digital sculpting.

The model position/compositon really showcases how keen your sculptor's eye is. Keeping the eagle at an angle frames the models face from the front, ties together the lines from the other perspectives in a fluid way, and above all heightens a sense of movement: the model strides forward launching the eagle while extending the other arm+hammer behind it. The model is truly dynamic (not off-balance). Bravo!

10/10 this is amazing work. You are a gifted artist, and I love seeing this miniature re-imagined into what it could have been.

First i wanna say: absolutely incredible work, well done.
One thing that bugged me a tiny bit is the fact that hes reaching out with the hand opposite to the leg he's stepping forward with which feels a bit less dynamic than if it were the same side

Amazing resculpt! It's awesome watching you sculpt! Mind-blowing how well you get the second shoulder pad so sharp and just like the other shoulder pad!

I really couldn’t bear the official model but Chris’s re sculpt is mind blowing good.
Every part of it is perfectly conceived and executed and I’m in total awe of the sculpting. So clean and sharp.

Breathtaking resculpt! Now THIS is a mini that actually represents the character in lore, not the abomination big GW pumped out. Looking forward to seeing what you'll do with the paint job on him!

great video, lovely conversion, and really well explained techniques. I now need to go buy some magic sculpt as it looked incredibly nice to use - though that may just be a testament to your skills.

    That is stunning ..
I had a conversation with a Warhammer store top boy, and we agreed that the model would have been better off as a multi part/multi choice Inquisitor for all inquisitorial houses.

The most impressive sculpting job I've seen yet. Those legs are superb and that hair is simple but fits so well to the character.

Dude your miniature skills are sick! And your deadpan humor is top notch! 5 stars! Or 10 stars? 🤔 ...whatever the maximum amount of stars is! Kudos sir!

Trovarion's conversion is BOSSSSS! There was a 3D model based off the cover image within 48 hours thank goodness. The GW model could be immediately improved by applying a hammer repeatedly to the designer.
