How did I never make the connection between Alpha Legion and Ocelot?
Any list with HH units is a good list. Really wish there was a unit with snipers for Alpha Legion...
I was hoping mentioning them in the Harrowmaster book was a suggestion that they were coming to 40k

A big part of my hobby is theorycrafting lists (doesn't matter if I own the army), its gives me alot more enjoyment than putting the little bastards together and even painting them often.

Hydra Dominatus! My second favorite Traitor legion with the first being the Iron Warrior. After all, We are all Alpharius.
This video just totally reinvigorated my Alpha Legion love. I’ve got a whole HH army built that never got round to being painted. Of course, use them as CSM!

While the Word Bearers got the short stick this edition, the Alpha Legion seems to have received very good and lore inspired rules.
The Tempestus Command Squad idea is a really good one, love it.
Not a huge fan of the assault intercessor chosen, tho that's probably because at one point I had 25 of the buggers in my space marine army and they do not feel special to me.
Since this is a place where people are looking to run an alpha legion force with the new detachment, I was wondering if everyone was running more infantry focused versions like this

As a Sisters of Battle player, I'm seriously tempted to get some Alpha Legion allies (-is that right? 0_o) and build towards this list.
The only thing I'd add is a 'Hobby time' suggestion of using Cordor gangers from Necromunda as the cultists instead of the normal chaos cultists as I think they are closer to the Alpha Legion aesthetic, especially if they where painted in Alpha legion colours.
Again this would go well with using loyalist models in place of chaos ones as has been suggested for the rest of the list. I think using Tempestus Scions as a Alpha legion Dark Commune is brilliant!

I disagree with using Mark X armor for any chaos armies, even Alpha Legion. Also aren't Sicaren's legends vehicles?

I just have 1 question about sicaran venator. since its in legends are people going to be okay with playing against me if I run it or not. I dont play irl since its not popular in my country but iam planning on playing on tts.
Most won’t mind. Just don’t take it to a match play tournament.

🤣🤣 So true! I find it absurd primaris marines cannot fit into Rhinos but 10 bloated plague marines or 10 muscle bound berzerkers can go into them no problem. 🙄

@@WhatThe40k I know man but I think it’s a balance think. Think about it. The Rino is ‘The’ cheep disposable space marine transport. It can hold up to 12 models. Un like the Impulser with h can hold 6 and hade a abilities to make up for the lack of space. A rino has nothing to balance around. It is just a box with 12 slots. Everyone talks about how blade gaurd are held back by the fact that you can’t take a full squad with a character in the impulsor. With a rino you can get full blade gaurd with charecter/s and then som.
I am proud to know that there is another fellow brother In this world who isn’t putting alpha Legion list together with the biggest douche ever Abaddon..

One thing that messes with making csm lists is the change and reduction in wargear options from 8th.
But youve done well, making lists feel like the legion is a pain. Plus HH kits are a win!

Not big fan of cultist when we have more professional the traitor guardsmen and traitor commisar while they don't capping the objective but their ability to deny battleshock at cost of a model and has more weapons profile to support the Legionaries
