I learned a standing gainer on flat ground, almost by accident. I was just trying to land my backflips where I started, without traveling, and I began to notice I was actually gaining a little bit on some of them. Just progressing a few inches at a time, I was able to travel forward about 3 feet by the end of the day. It really made it easier on flat ground, because I didn't have to think about gaining several feet, I was able to progress a few inches at a time. Really helpful with the mental block

Gainers are just so scary the first time but then when u get them u can do them all the time. I got close to landing scoot dub too
