I have a Series X in my living room and a Series S in my office for when I’m…..totally focused on working at home… I love having both these consoles. While I wish there were more games exclusive to the new generation, I understand that it’s going to take longer to switch over to new generations completely. I love the backwards compatibility because it takes those older games and makes them look and run better than they’ve ever looked.
I want to wait but I've been using the base xbox one for 10 years now. I'm getting the series x on Christmas. Hopefully it will leave me happy for another 10 years.
Im telling you the Xbox series x is a big jump from the base Xbox one & S. I actually enjoy playing games now that it’s not stuttering and freezing every 30 secs. I just got mines not that to long ago and spent about 800$ for a whole new setup including the Xbox. I wanted to go all the way this time so I wouldn’t have any excuses to me dying lol. Have to say it’s worth it even tho there hasn’t been any games that have taken advantage of it.
My dad got my brother and I a Dreamcast right on launch day. Didn't got a console myself on day 1 until i bought my Series S back in 2020, and i've enjoyed my experience with it soooo much 💚
I switched over to the Series X late last year after the release of Halo Infinite. Even tho Infinite has completely sucked, Gamepass has provided me with more fun in 1 year than Sony did in 5 when I got my PS4/PS5 in 2017 and 2020. It’s given me the ability to try out new games that I’d never think about trying including Sea of Thieves and several indie games. I absolutely love how the community features are still present in the dashboard. When Sony got rid of them I was heartbroken because I’d always share my best clips on there. Achievements are so easy to find and I love the little competition scoreboard they have with you and your friends’ achievements, it feels like the build of the dashboard is still integrated for gamers and not streaming, the complete opposite of what Sony has shifted over to. It still feels like there’s a sense of community with this platform and that’s what’s drawn me back in. The series X has been pretty good to me.
Still waiting for next generation of games to start. Literally no Series X exclusive games and the ones that are don't even tap into the full potential at all.
Nothing will use the Xbox X full potential until Microsoft drops the Rule that games must run on the Underpowered Series S. If a game can run on the series S then it will NOT maximize the Series X hardware.
@@haunteddreams7856 When you are actively developing a game for consoles, you typically begin with your least powerful machine and scale up. If you do this backwards, you are largely ensuring that your game will run poorly or not at all on the less powerful machines. So, while I can’t say this definitively-it does make sense that the Series S could in some way hinder the Series X, because games must run optimally on both consoles.
I just purchased it about 2 weeks ago and it def feels like a next gen console. I love the remote play on my PC and phone and the resume game feature is fantastic.
I started out with the Series S back in December of 2020 and really enjoyed the experience and decided to move up Series X this year to take advantage of my 4k TV. Have really been enjoying the beefier specs and ended up selling my Series S to a friend after his original PS4 crapped out on him.
@@AhmedEx1. I notice a difference between the Native 4k of the X vs Upscaling by the S but games still looked great on the S. Performance wise the S does a good job of keeping up with the X but for example modern warfare 2 seemed to run a little smoother and looked a little better on my X compared to my friends S. The X having the disc drive was another reason I upgraded because I have over 20 disc games I’d like to play again instead of rebuying digitally. Both are good systems just kinda depends on your needs.
I finally managed to secure a PlayStation 5 because of my region, they are readily available. It seems the series X, on the other hand is far more elusive, which is why I moved back to PlayStation after having an Xbox since 2016
I picked up a Series X at my local Target last week and been enjoying it. Been on PC my whole life but slowing down I enjoy sitting back on a console. That being said I’m impressed but load times and overall performance, especially 4k
So I tried to get a series x for two years without any luck. Two weeks ago I bought a gaming pc with better specs than an Xbox. My wife buys me a series x for my birthday the other day and I don’t have the heart to tell her that it’s absolutely useless to me now.
Been a Sony guy since 2006 decided it was time for a change went from my PS4 Pro to My Series X in April 2022 and yeah I’m definitely sticking with Xbox absolutely love my Series X it’s a beast and the silent fan is just one of the many things that I absolutely love
Got mine with 2 years game pass from Target of all places. Bought it online picked up an hour later. So much quicker to set up and get gaming. Great buy IMHO.
The series X has a lot of great features so far. Games for now are a lot slim but a lot of studios are either making bad games or are struggling to find investors in my opinion. I think a lot of their recent acquisitions will really pay off in the next couple of years. They have a decent back catalog of games that if they can make mobile would work well. The only thing that I would say is that a lot of their acquisitions are long term and it's going to take 4-6 years for them to really see any returns on their investments.
I’m still on the fence about upgrading. I’ve been rocking a switch solo for a few years after selling my xb1 in 2019, and especially recently it’s kept me busy. The only games I felt compelled to play was cyberpunk and resi8, they released on stadia so I was able to hang onto switch only for a little longer. Halo infinite seemed cool but not a system seller. If Diablo 4 comes out and is a must play, I’ll get a series s or ps5 digital, but other than that, all I really care about is the next Crystal dynamics tomb raider but that doesn’t even have a release date. I just beat resident evil 4 on switch, so while the remake looks cool, I don’t have a huge reason to go back and play it immediately. Ratchet ps5 seems cool, kena bridge of spirits seems cool, but both of those games you can beat in a day, and aren’t quite system sellers. Gotta say though, between Pokémon scarlet (feel mixed about), bayo3, overwatch 2, having Kirby in my backlog, upcoming zelda tears of the kingdom, the switch has and will keep me busy for sometime.
Love my series s and game pass but this entire generation so far has had very very few games come out for it, less so for next gen exclusives. I know the pandemic and supply chain problems have been a big factor but so far i'm still waiting for much at all to come out.
Quick resume is the best feature, the fact that I’ve left a game unplayed for weeks and comeback to it and quick resume still works(only I play like 2 games)
Recently I just now got the next gen and I don''t have much to say, it seems the same in many ways, but what I do have to say is how some games known to be unstable are basically fixed, even the infamous Civilization 6 works smooth as butter now, I say its a huge step-up and I'm excited for whats to come in the future.
Picked up my Series X about a month ago (my local Walmart happened to get two in stock). It’s my first ever Xbox console, for a couple reasons - 1) So many of my favorite studios (Bethesda, Obsidian, InXile) are now owned by Xbox and 2) GPUs/CPUs are so expensive right now, it made more sense financially for me to nab a console than upgrade my PC - crazy! So far, my experience has been fantastic. The console is lightning fast, whisper quiet, and Game Pass is absolutely legit. For instance, being able to pre-load Pentiment and play it Day 1 thru Game Pass is awesome. The ONLY issues I have with the console are: 1) Game downloads don’t continue when the console is sleeping. The console and games will stay ‘updated’ while it’s off, but it’s disappointing that I can’t do something on my Series X that the PS4 has been able to do for years. 2) For whatever reason, Microsoft refuses to include “GOTY” editions of many games through Game Pass - Oblivion, FO3, New Vegas, FO4…only base game is included. And the DLC (even discounted for members) is waaay too expensive. I just don’t see why MS don’t offer GOTY/ultimate editions through console like they do on PC 🤷🏻♂️ Other than those minor gripes, I’m absolutely loving my Series X - definitely an XBox convert!
I enjoyed the Series X briefly, while PC prices were high. As soon as they dropped I upgraded my entire PC, so that it has NVMe drives etc and I haven't looked back. This will be my last console purchase, unless scalper prices happen to PC again.
Me as a longtime Playstation fan, I must admit that the Xbox Series X is one hella console. I adore and here in Sweden it is rapidly available in stores.
Gaming cab be very expensive in Brazil so I'm more than happy with my Series S + Game Pass combo. I'm an eclectic gamer that skipped last gen so game pass value is insane to me, so many good things to play.

Problem with Xbox is that they’re releasing everything on PC. Xbox needs to go back to console exclusives and work all those developers they bought to make good exclusives
uhh.. they release it to PC because they both require MS products to run? because they believe that gamers should be able to play games on the device of their choice? Microsoft makes both things, it's not a huge loss for them at all if they release their xbox games to pc.

Been 2 years and I am still looking for a Series X or a PS5. I got the Series S purely by chance. Was at Walmart getting groceries and walked by the electronics department and there it was in the locked display cabinet. All I need now is the Series X and PS5. Maybe in the next 2 years I'll be able to get one.....maybe.
I’ve got a PS5 and the XSX, I find myself only using the PS5 for exclusives and everything else on my Xbox. Quick resume is such killer feature, I can hardly imagine gaming without it now.

I finally got one, HDR was supposed to be a strength of Xbox Series X, but it's actually a weakness since AutoHDR only works in Xbox One games. PC turns out to be better at HDR :)
Got my hands on a series X at the beginning of December and I LOVE IT, i upgraded from my og xbox one from 2013 (or 2014?). I have put in 330 hours on elden ring on the og xbox one and just replayed it on the series X, MAN the graphics are beautiful. Running at 100- 120 fps on elden ring (according to my monitor) is Nuts and I couldn't be happier. All of the dark souls games got slight fps boosts. Looking forward to the RE4 remake, and wanting to pick up resident evil village soon
I got my series X right around the time I spilled some coffee on the rug under my dining room table and had to get a new rug to replace it. I went with a darker color rug this time, and it’s also a little thicker and different material than my last rug. I gotta say, I really prefer it to my old rug! There’s some downside to it as well, like it seems a little tougher to vacuum really well because it’s a bit thicker, but it feels way better to walk on and also feels warmer than my old one did in the winter time. Overall I’m really pleased with my new rug, huge improvement from my old one, and I’m still at the very beginning of its lifespan!
My series x will turn one year old this december. I don't have any regrets choosing this over ps5. The quick resume was very handy. You can change the CD game everytime and when you bring back the previous cd game you can continue it just where you went off. Also xbox to my laptop is very easy. I'm glad I chosen this one instead of PS5. One of my friends have ps5 and i let him play with my series x. He told me everything is faster and the frame rates are stable on all games. He wanted to switch but ps5 have better controller.

I just got a XSX a week ago. It's crazy it took two years to get into stores around were I live.
Just now got my hands on one. Very happy with it. Always been a Xbox man. I had the first xbox day one.👍

Love the series x quick resume is absolutely amazing
Nice
Yup, it's only advantage but for GamePass it's nice.
Totally agree. I have both consoles and find Xbox out preforms ps5 quick resume.
@@Jammie75 ps5 doesn't have quick resume
@@haunteddreams7856 It has an option shown at the bottom of the screen when the game is selected in the main menu.
But using it, it still shows menus, and still takes longer to load than xbox quick resume. Would be great if they do a proper thing, not just half backed feature.
Love the Xbox. Best product they have put out to date and more refined. Nice having slow and steady Q.O.L. updates as well
👍🏼
Will you guys do a 10 years of Xbox One next year? It's been a nice ride with it, and still going strong.
Thanks for your suggestion
Xbox has been trash since xbox one era
I've had the series x for about 18 months now and I've already played more games in that time than the majority of the Xbox one era. The series x is just so easy to use, its fast, and gamepass has allowed me to enjoy so many games I would never have paid for up front. Looking forward to a strong 2023.
Another gullible clown falling for an anti consumer practise
Just think for 2 seconds other than its cheap think what it means what it represents the consumer has no say with gamepass the decision of where your money goes is no longer your own it's Xbox executives they decide what to put on there what gets funded , when we buy games ITS US
BY DEFINITION GAMEPASS IS ANTI CONSUMER the only positive thing you can say is its cheap but it's cheap because you give up so much
Don't be a 🤡 cancel gamepass
I have a Series X in my living room and a Series S in my office for when I’m…..totally focused on working at home… I love having both these consoles. While I wish there were more games exclusive to the new generation, I understand that it’s going to take longer to switch over to new generations completely. I love the backwards compatibility because it takes those older games and makes them look and run better than they’ve ever looked.
Im still on my XB1S and enjoy it very much. I’m waiting for the mid cycle refresh at this point.
@@andyC95 how you liking your new xbox man?! Great right? Quick resume is godly
Then sell it and get series x it would be a big jump of performance and quality and frame rate
Bought my Series S for $200 during the Summer of 2022 to have next to my PC! I love it!
My dad got my brother and I a Dreamcast right on launch day. Didn't got a console myself on day 1 until i bought my Series S back in 2020, and i've enjoyed my experience with it soooo much 💚
I love dreamcast. Wish I still had it. The controllers were on a different level of odd though.
Dreamcast it's ine of my favorite console of all time
Just got mines today and my PS5 last month I'm happy as hell me and my sons going to have a good Christmas!!
Did you get a old or new PS5?

Will do. Thanks
You're telling me I got the halo edition xbox and the game flopped so hard
Game pass is trash...ya love indie games and 3rd party turds I'm guessing 😂
@@hanfreeman Factsssss

Still waiting for next generation of games to start. Literally no Series X exclusive games and the ones that are don't even tap into the full potential at all.
Nothing will use the Xbox X full potential until Microsoft drops the Rule that games must run on the Underpowered Series S. If a game can run on the series S then it will NOT maximize the Series X hardware.
High on life comes out next month so there’s that. It won’t really push the console what so ever but it is a exclusive to look forward too
@@sidneyvandykeii3169 the series S runs fine actually. A game can use the max power of the series X and then be adjusted for the S......🤷♂️
@@NEXUSREIGN48 but they optimise for a £500 pc all the way up to a £10k pc
I just purchased it about 2 weeks ago and it def feels like a next gen console. I love the remote play on my PC and phone and the resume game feature is fantastic.
👌👍🏼
Two years of consistent search for finding both consoles at retail price, finally completed my mission two weeks ago
I started out with the Series S back in December of 2020 and really enjoyed the experience and decided to move up Series X this year to take advantage of my 4k TV. Have really been enjoying the beefier specs and ended up selling my Series S to a friend after his original PS4 crapped out on him.
I've got a question if you don't mind, is it worth getting the x over s? Are the difference between them too much to notice?
Your channel is what pushed me to getting into next-generation Xbox. Of course I started on the Series S, but I'll going up to the Series X this week!
👌👍🏼
I finally managed to secure a PlayStation 5 because of my region, they are readily available. It seems the series X, on the other hand is far more elusive, which is why I moved back to PlayStation after having an Xbox since 2016
Pentiment just came out yesterday and it a must play especially if a huge story person or a huge history person.
Microsoft has been saying “something big is coming, just you wait”…. For OVER A DECADE!
Xbox has no first party games :(
I settled for an S to play with friends after 2 years, if I wanna play something pretty I'll just play it on PC.
2 years later and predictably the gaming system has no games.
I just hope 2023 comes fast all the xbox games I was looking forward to play were pushed back to next year.
Perfect timing I'm saving for one rn
Good timing then. They seem to be widely available of late in my area at Target at least.
2023 should be good
@@gameranxTV crossing my fingers. Glad darktide is coming out soon. Looking forward to that one
Quick resume is the best feature, the fact that I’ve left a game unplayed for weeks and comeback to it and quick resume still works(only I play like 2 games)
im trying to get an xbox im pretty excited to see this
The quick resume times are so good that I forgot load times even existed so I never list it as a pro of having the xbox
I own a PS5 and a Xbox series s, and I have been playing my Xbox way more lately than my ps5.
The ONLY issues I have with the console are:
1) Game downloads don’t continue when the console is sleeping.
I just don’t see why MS don’t offer GOTY/ultimate editions through console like they do on PC 🤷🏻♂️
Other than those minor gripes, I’m absolutely loving my Series X - definitely an XBox convert!
No regrets getting the XBSX!
You are a very good person. Love your videos ❤️
😍
Xbox was at its best in the OG/360 Era

I have both the series X and PS5. Both are really good. I play more exclusives on PS5 but gamepass has me covered for loads of games. The series X could do with a few more big exclusives.
Sold my series x last week. After god of war I really settled with the ps5. It just feels more new and delivers games I am interested in. Loved my 360 back then but I am done with xbox for now.

I’ve had my series X since launch and man I love it… it really is one of my most cherished possessions.
I was lucky enough to snag one at launch, for me, one of the biggest things is how fast the series x is. Load times, start up, and even just navigating through the menus is so fast. Would love a UI update but no complaints! Love this console and can’t wait for what’s to come this next year.
They'll upgrade the UI forsure!!!
Got my Series X earlier this year and loving it enjoy that 60 fps!
Problem with Xbox is that they’re releasing everything on PC. Xbox needs to go back to console exclusives and work all those developers they bought to make good exclusives
Why though
uhh.. they release it to PC because they both require MS products to run? because they believe that gamers should be able to play games on the device of their choice? Microsoft makes both things, it's not a huge loss for them at all if they release their xbox games to pc.
Update: 2016 Xbox 1s is still going strong
1 great year with Series X, and not a single game purchased as I can play all my Xbox One CD's here. Also enjoying the game pass, great value.
Still don’t even see the need for a next gen console yet. Everything runs fine
Have been a PlayStation man since the original PS1
Had my PS5 on day one
Never had an Xbox before, but bought my Series X in may 2022
Love both consoles, don't have a favorite
Finally got one a few days ago, I love it so far!
Really really love the series X. I'm waiting for more big western RPGs, that's my thing.
I’ve got a PS5 and the XSX, I find myself only using the PS5 for exclusives and everything else on my Xbox. Quick resume is such killer feature, I can hardly imagine gaming without it now.
I got something special for you hit me up to acknowledge it now 🎉🥳🥳^^^^^^^^
Next month will make a year with mine. With life being life I haven’t played it nearly as much as I’d wanted but it’s such a good console, just feels more refined than the ps5 in most ways.
More than happy with my PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox one, and my PSP!

If Microsoft is reading this please give 343 some help or a kick in the ass and support the coalition in making more gears. Gears doesn't get the love it deserves.
Looking forward to the RE4 remake, and wanting to pick up resident evil village soon
i stll play halo every day, i've still never figured out why people stopped playing it
I got something special for you hit me up to acknowledge it now 🎉🥳🥳❤❤❤
I just got one . Yes it’s worth it. The gameplay is way better on all games
I got my series s earlier this year and wow, what a HUGE upgrade compared to my day one Xbox one.
👍🏼
Love my mini fridge. So glad I didn't settle for the fancy One X that is the Series S
You got me with the Mrs doubtfire xbox in the intro 😂😂
My series x will turn one year old this december. I don't have any regrets choosing this over ps5. The quick resume was very handy. You can change the CD game everytime and when you bring back the previous cd game you can continue it just where you went off. Also xbox to my laptop is very easy. I'm glad I chosen this one instead of PS5. One of my friends have ps5 and i let him play with my series x. He told me everything is faster and the frame rates are stable on all games. He wanted to switch but ps5 have better controller.
I love my Series X but I can't help but think there is still so much untapped potential. I have hopes Hellblade 2, Next Fable, will showcase its true power. 🔋
i’ve had it since the first december it came out and i’ve loved every second of it, my buddies got ps5 and was always a playstation guy but i couldn’t be more happier making the jump over, but when i play the ps5 it brings back a lot of nostalgia
I recently bought the series x , I’m enjoying this older console .
I’m glad that production is increasing for this current gem consoles .
I have all the latest consoles, Xbox series X ,pS5, and switch oled. I haven't turned my Xbox on in Months because of the sample size of games witch is kinda of sad to me, I hope turns around this upcoming year
I switched to pc a year into the life cycle. Haven’t looked back. But these consoles look to be great value
I’m still playing on my Xbox One X. If supply wasn’t an issue I would’ve probably been a day one user for a series X
All i know is, this is the only system you can turn the tv up and down on screen (other than the wii u).
So it's a plus for me.
I love that my series x is able to play 4k ultra blu ray. Such an incredible quality.
Had series x for 4 months and enjoying it, purchased a ps5 online and only had time to open it to busy on gta5, mw2 on x box.
