- This is my Glock 42 with a 507kX2. Slide milled, site fitted by Vulcan Machine Werks (Their spelling) in Plano Texas. Turn around time was roughly 2 weeks. Cost for the milling, return shipping/insurance was right at $200. Site was $300. Totally worth the investment in my book.
I recently had my slide milled by the Glockstore, works great. I have a +1 mag gut magazine spring, and range magazines with a +2. I have a Streamlight TLR 6 light lazer combo.

Just got my Glock 42 back from Vulcan Machine Werks as well. Was already my EDC. I really love it now. Got it zeroed in at the range today.
They are located near me and thinking about this. Since 380 ammo can be funny, have you experienced any slide issues with modifying it?
@@NOT_A_TOP_FAN I live in Rockwall. Dropped mine off and took about a month to complete but well worth it. I am about 200 rounds in and zero failure to feed zero issues in general. I have the sig P365 in 380 and also a 380 EZ Performance Center but the Glock 42 is still my EDC.
@@CARMONAJOE thanks for thr info. I carry a Canik elite SC, but it’s too bulky for summer, so I’m looking at something much smaller. I’m so used to having an optic, I’ve debated between the Glock and Sig 380 (mainly because of the option for optic). Yeah, the Glock 43x with optic is an option, but that really won’t put me that much smaller than my current setup, so it would be no point. Thanks for the info

About as bad as the good guy on the screen who never seems to recall if he has a round in the chamber. Good guys doing press checks drive me nuts.

I carry my Glock 42 quite often along with my Sig P365-380, which is about to get the EPS Carry installed, and Ruger LCP Max that I also have a plate a optic ready to get installed so I would love to get one for my Glock 42. I live in Texas so I will definitely be getting in touch with Vulcan Machine Werks to discuss it.
Nice. I have the TLR 6 on mine. Magguts +1 with ghost +2 = 10 rounds and runs flawlessly.
Cool!😁👍 I’ve been thinking about adding the Holosun HE507 Green Dot to my 42. For anyone who is asking, I haven’t looked into it, but we should be able to send our 42s to the Glock store in San Diego to get the slide cut and they return it with a 10 day turnaround, at least on the 43X.
Again, I sent my 42 to Vulcan Machine Werx in Texas.

Nice! Ive been looking at the leupold micro dot for mine. This is nice though. Now if only someone would make some high capacity mags for the darn thing. Theres gotta be a way to squeeze a few more freedom seeds into these mags.

What extension plates are you running on the 42?

I sent the dot and slide to Vulcan Machine Werks. They did it the right way, machined the slide to fit the dot.

@@tbrick4756 there's no way to just put a mounting plate on the 42. You MUST have it machined for the dot. This fits it properly. It is then bolted to the side. Cost for the machining was $200 including shipping there, back.

never understood why people care/let you know in a video that the weapon is unloaded. were not there next to you why would a person care if the weapon is loaded or scared of a ND from behind your computer screen?
How exactly did you put it on? You just took the rear sight off & put this one in its place or did you have to cut out a space for it?

@@benjaminclark4477 it must be me, i watched it again 2x and still havnt hear what you used for a mounting platr. i'm ordering the 507k x2 but stilling trying to find a mounting plate. i like your video a lot your right no one has done 1 on the G42.

I tried the pro mag for a sig p938 and the thing would randomly dump all the rounds. Super frustrating and not even good enough for a range toy. However, the 10 rd pro mag for the Glock 42 is another beast. It is definitely the perfect back up mag, to arguably the best ccw on the market.
