It really helps tighten not just your lower belly, by your whole abs, and idk why, but after that quick workout you SEE the difference. Thats the reason why I've stuck with this video because I actually see progress fast!!! Sorry if this is really long, but I feel like no one ever actually talks about their progress and if it works or not. If I were you, I'd DEFINITELY give it a try even though it's a little harder that other workouts. Hey it's only 5 min so why not?😂😂💕

I've been doing cassey's workouts since august 2015 to tone my stomache and it's been very helpfull. The first month i didn't really see any results (probably because i wasn't eating right) so i continued. I'm almost a year further and i'm so happy with the results. My stomache is a lot flatter and you can see my abs. It helps when you switch up your workout every few months. Biggest problem was definitly the eating and being consistent. It's hard to stay motivated but i'm working on it!
I just started blogilates the past two weeks. And all I can say is I wish I had started it sooner! I think I was stubborn that it wouldn't be "enough" of a workout for me, but just one video and I'm sweating, but a few more and it's a whole body workout and still not as long as say, a whole studio class somewhere else. Yay! Makes me super happy! Thank you!
I've been doing this workout with 2 other blogilates videos and I've started to see results in lower stomach in about 2 weeks. I always struggled with flattening my lower belly. (Along with some hula hooping for 20 minutes) My stomach is obviously not flat yet, but it's slowly going down... Your stomach exercises are the best!!! I have one bad knee due to a collision between my bike and a car (1/2 of a tendon is gone on one side of my knee; and there is bone on bone on that side). Your stomach work out doesn't consist of constant bending the knees. Not only that your knowledgeable about genetics, eating, and exercises; which many do not touch on and that does not lend itself to a complete picture. FANTASTIC!!!

I have to say,as someone who trained taekwondo for 6 years this workout pleasantly surprised me!it was actually quite hard and this is the only workout that works for me
Just finished June 23!!! To be honest it really wasn't too bad for me as I thought it would be today. I hope that helps everyone else who is struggling on the last video. I'm always like that when I tell myself it will be over in a few minutes you can do this!! Just think of that when you are in doubt. Anyways good job to everyone who has finished today's workout. 😀😀
I am not a workout person and this was very difficult for me After the first time I took rest for probably a week because of the muscle pain But alhamdulillah this workout became easier now after doing almost everyday., not that easy but easier, and I believe that inshallah the workout will be the easiest thing if i was able inshallah to continue

These ab sessions have become my favorite warmup to the rest of my routine. I have trouble straightening my legs at the L position. They like to stay slightly bent and just shy of a true 90 degrees. Is this simply a matter of ham flexibility, or is there anything else I should work on?
Yep that's ham flexibility you will need to work on, you can do some stretches first maybe that will help. But if you want to get it straight you will have to stretch every single day.

Another question if I may: My body fat is low enough to make my horizontal ab tendon separations evident, yet the vertically dividing linea alba tendon is nowhere to be seen. I can only feel it by digging deep with my fingers while lying down. I know genetics plays a major role, but heard that even Joseph Pilates himself expanded his through his movements. Are there any exercises in particular that might enhance its visibility? Thanks again :)
Believe me or not this works so well I use to have belly fat where to the point I would try all kinds of things to get rid of it and now I’m skinny and my abs are coming in I been doing this workout for 4 weeks and I can’t thank you any less ❤️❤️
When I started doing these I had to take breaks between each exercise because I had no muscle strength at all. Now I can do more than one video back to back without even getting extremely tired. I still have to modify one or two because my flexibility needs work and some of them are still just a little beyond me strength wise, but I'm getting there and I'm so proud of myself. Not much change in how my body looks yet but SO much improvement in my body image and self esteem. I'm motivated for once in a long time to actually take control of the state of my body in a healthy and constructive way. Thank you so much! This has been so good for not only my physical health but my mental and emotional health as well. With your encouragement I can and will continue to work hard to be healthily in control of my habits and body. 😀
I haven't done one of your workouts in awhile because I've been trying my own routines. Finally tried this one and for the first time in a long time I was able to complete the whole thing and not quit mid way due to intensity.
Day 16 of the beginner's calendar and 2/3 videos are done. This video was painful but a great workout. I had to take a break before attempting that last move as my lower abs and legs were burning. But, I loved this video.
Is the last move called ''The Rocket'' because it just blew up my abs?! It's crazy how demanding this move is, and yet so simple! Cheers to all of us who've made it through!
Just did this and I felt the burn, allot.. my stomach actually looks tighter and more firm then before I started it. Hopefully I'll be on my way to get my six pack, toned abs, xx

***** I have the same problem. The beginner calendar is too easy for me but I just really can't do some of these workouts. Probably I'm doing half of the moves wrong because my lower back hurts more than the abs. I don't know what to do ;((((
***** you should definitely be strong and do it! :D but if it is too hard take a break or do the beginner variation. you will get stronger and one day you can do the workouts in advanced version without breaks :D

I did it!!! Feelings of severe depression are really getting to me today. I have barely gotten anything accomplished. But I got myself to work out. I still feel depressed, yes. But I worked out after so many days of not having the emotional strength to do so. Thank you for talking me through it Cassie!!!
This is a great workout but people PLEASE remember that you cannot "spot lose" weight meaning; you cannot target specific areas to lose weight from. Scientific fact - it just cannot happen unless you choose to go the cosmetic surgery route (liposuction, etc). As Christine says, these exercises tighten muscles and tone which creates better form and posture and gives the appearance of slimming.
The appearance? :) For me I can tell a difference of some lost weight. However I personally think that if you are working the muscles in your "problem" areas then you are helping yourself and with cardio you melt fat and with these moves you tone muscles. That's why it takes both. So technically in a round about way I can target areas that work muscles and eventually with eating right you can lose weight. But anyhow Cassey has said what you pointed out before. :)
***** That's completely backwards. YOU CAN SPOT TONE! If you want to get rid of flab, exercise all around. If you want a strong core/abs, target that with core/abs exercises.
Anyone else's hip pop/click all the time? Know what it's from or how to stop it/ reduce it? My form is fine but I wonder of anyone else has this problem
I think this happens because you don't have a lot of flexibility in the hip joints. This happened to me when I first started, but as I kept doing more blogilates workouts I don't get the hip pops anymore c:
the noise you're hearing is just gas. when you pop your knuckles, you're not doing anything to your bones. it's just the gas in your joints releasing, causing a popping sound. if the popping in your hips starts to hurt, then go see a doctor because that can be bad news! :)x
Hi! Awesome video! Question: I'm pretty skinny, actually quite very skinny, but I bloat and when I sit down or ben or move my stomach area I get huge fat rolls and I cant even wear a crop top bc my stomach gets like twice the size (overstatement but you now what i mean) It like my stomach is "loose and flappy"? What should I do? PLS HELP
I feel you man! I wouldn't say I'm 'very' skinny but I am quite thin. However my stomach also goes outwards?? I feel like I have to suck in all the time or something. And when I sit down I can literally grab all my fat, it makes me feel really crap actually. Anyway, I know the whole fold while sitting thing is normal, but like you I can't wear crop tops :/ Maybe it's because I'm very unfit..
I think everyone is like that. If you really want to wear a cropped top, maybe try to tuck your stomach in and maintain a good posture especially when you're sitting. I heard from someone that keeping your stomach in very often will prevent you from having a protruding belly. not sure if it's true though. but i do it all the time

I have to say,as someone who trained taekwondo for 6 years this workout pleasantly surprised me!it was actually quite hard and this is the only workout that works for me
Just finished June 23!!! To be honest it really wasn't too bad for me as I thought it would be today. I hope that helps everyone else who is struggling on the last video. I am not a workout person and this was very difficult for me
After the first time I took rest for probably a week because of the muscle pain
But alhamdulillah this workout became easier now after doing almost everyday., not that easy but easier, and I believe that inshallah the workout will be the easiest thing if i was able inshallah to continue

These ab sessions have become my favorite warmup to the rest of my routine.
I have trouble straightening my legs at the L position. They like to stay slightly bent and just shy of a true 90 degrees. Is this simply a matter of ham flexibility, or is there anything else I should work on?
Yep that's ham flexibility you will need to work on, you can do some stretches first maybe that will help. But if you want to get it straight you will have to stretch every single day.
Yes just stretch your hamstrings and your legs. It will help!! It takes time.

Another question if I may:
My body fat is low enough to make my horizontal ab tendon separations evident, yet the vertically dividing linea alba tendon is nowhere to be seen. I can only feel it by digging deep with my fingers while lying down. I know genetics plays a major role, but heard that even Joseph Pilates himself expanded his through his movements.
Are there any exercises in particular that might enhance its visibility? Thanks again :)

When I started doing these I had to take breaks between each exercise because I had no muscle strength at all. Now I can do more than one video back to back without even getting extremely tired. I still have to modify one or two because my flexibility needs work and some of them are still just a little beyond me strength wise, but I'm getting there and I'm so proud of myself. Not much change in how my body looks yet but SO much improvement in my body image and self esteem. I'm motivated for once in a long time to actually take control of the state of my body in a healthy and constructive way. Thank you so much! This has been so good for not only my physical health but my mental and emotional health as well. With your encouragement I can and will continue to work hard to be healthily in control of my habits and body. 😀

rest with your legs a little farther forward so you're holding them up with your lower abs in-between crunches

I haven't done one of your workouts in awhile because I've been trying my own routines. Finally tried this one and for the first time in a long time I was able to complete the whole thing and not quit mid way due to intensity.

Feb 17,when I started my 'fitness journey' I didn't knew that I was starting it.
Day 16 of the beginner's calendar and 2/3 videos are done. This video was painful but a great workout. I had to take a break before attempting that last move as my lower abs and legs were burning. But, I loved this video.
Is the last move called ''The Rocket'' because it just blew up my abs?! It's crazy how demanding this move is, and yet so simple! Cheers to all of us who've made it through!

you should definitely be strong and do it! :D but if it is too hard take a break or do the beginner variation. you will get stronger and one day you can do the workouts in advanced version without breaks :D

Cassey just wanna share something wd u..Dt u r just d best, I lost tremendous weight almost 22 kgs few years ago by doing all your UA-cam exercises.. But i wz suffering from depression n leg injury since 2 years because of which I have gained all the weights back. This time my weight has increased more than the last time I lost.

I did it!!! Feelings of severe depression are really getting to me today. I have barely gotten anything accomplished. But I got myself to work out. I still feel depressed, yes. But I worked out after so many days of not having the emotional strength to do so. Thank you for talking me through it Cassie!!!
This is a great workout but people PLEASE remember that you cannot "spot lose" weight meaning; you cannot target specific areas to lose weight from. Scientific fact - it just cannot happen unless you choose to go the cosmetic surgery route (liposuction, etc). As Christine says, these exercises tighten muscles and tone which creates better form and posture and gives the appearance of slimming.

The appearance? :) For me I can tell a difference of some lost weight. However I personally think that if you are working the muscles in your "problem" areas then you are helping yourself and with cardio you melt fat and with these moves you tone muscles. That's why it takes both. So technically in a round about way I can target areas that work muscles and eventually with eating right you can lose weight. But anyhow Cassey has said what you pointed out before. :)
But you *can* spot tone, which is what pilates is all about

Anyone else's hip pop/click all the time? Know what it's from or how to stop it/ reduce it? My form is fine but I wonder of anyone else has this problem

I think this happens because you don't have a lot of flexibility in the hip joints. This happened to me when I first started, but as I kept doing more blogilates workouts I don't get the hip pops anymore c:

the noise you're hearing is just gas. when you pop your knuckles, you're not doing anything to your bones. it's just the gas in your joints releasing, causing a popping sound. if the popping in your hips starts to hurt, then go see a doctor because that can be bad news! :)x

Question: I'm pretty skinny, actually quite very skinny, but I bloat and when I sit down or ben or move my stomach area I get huge fat rolls and I cant even wear a crop top bc my stomach gets like twice the size (overstatement but you now what i mean) It like my stomach is "loose and flappy"?

Every woman has folds when they sit. My friend is a stick with toned abs but she she still gets those folds. Don't obsess, it's not fat! :)
It's just the muscle relaxing. Like when you sit down and your thighs get bigger, it's the muscle relaxing. Don't worry about it, it's normal :)
I feel you man! I wouldn't say I'm 'very' skinny but I am quite thin. However my stomach also goes outwards?? I feel like I have to suck in all the time or something. And when I sit down I can literally grab all my fat, it makes me feel really crap actually. Anyway, I know the whole fold while sitting thing is normal, but like you I can't wear crop tops :/ Maybe it's because I'm very unfit..

I think everyone is like that. If you really want to wear a cropped top, maybe try to tuck your stomach in and maintain a good posture especially when you're sitting. I heard from someone that keeping your stomach in very often will prevent you from having a protruding belly. not sure if it's true though. but i do it all the time
