My boyfriend always insists that I should just be working on cardio, but I hate doing just cardio like he recommends. Your workouts actually give me something to look forward to.
@Op Hs In terms of work outs and whatnot, he was a personal trainer at a local resort when he was younger, so I think that's part of it. So he knows what he's doing, but is still learning the concept that I won't be motivated to do the workouts he would do himself because our preferences differ. Plus, after 5 years, I don't see myself looking elsewhere over this particular disagreement.
That's what I used to think too. But strength work like this also drives up the heart rate and builds stamina, so its great for overall metabolic fitness. Unless you need to build endurance to run a marathon, these workouts are just fine.
This happened recently with my dad trying to force my mom into doing cardio and running and stuff but she loves dance and yoga so I showed her this channel and she loves it! I really think its up to each person to figure out what THEY love doing, and that will keep you happy, motivated and healthy physically AND mentally... not doing it cause someone forces you to, that's not healthy or sustainable! It's your body, it's your life, it's your journey, not his! The best type of exercise you can do for yourself is something you love doing, period.
I have to say I have struggled many years with my weight. I’m not consistent with my workouts or your videos but whenever I feel down or not positive with myself I watch your videos and will do a workout and your motivation and positive energy will change my whole week around. Even if it’s just one day a week I feel so much better watching your videos. Thank you for all your helpful tips and those crazy moves that leaves me sore for 3 days. You’re an inspiration!
I completed the 7 day ab challenge! It is the first I've ever completed and I'm so happy, it was so hard and I hated how I felt but it's nice to see a change. I lost a lot around my waist compared to what I thought would happen! 11th Feb measurements (a day or two before I joined the challenge) Waist: 81cm Hips: 92cm Thigh: 62cm Arms: 30cm 20th Feb (challenge completed) Waist: 77cm Hips: 90cm Thighs: 63cm Arms: 29cm So it really did take a lot off my waist which I'm happy about ^-^ it's inspired me to keep working out and see more of a physical change.
I literally said "nope, not happening" when I saw elbow taps but I somehow pushed myself to do it. The other side could do better, but I definitely feel stronger. Thank you for being such a good trainer, Cassey! :)
Man, the candlesticks didnt do anything for me.. I couldnt do the sideplank for long enough since my shoulders started hurting. Not an exercise hurt but a hurt hurt.

I love you and your work!!!❤️❤️ Edit: Been doing these work outs since the day i commented it last(13 days ago!) and omg i never thought i was going to be strong enough to do the last move on both feet. I kept dropping down to one knee and kept thinking i was never gonna get strong enough to lift that knee off the mat. Did this one yesterday for the first time and now I have that good soreness that Cassie is always talking about. That’s how I know this is a GREAT workout for targeting obliques!
You have NO idea at all how happy and relieved I am not to do side planks or star fishes!!!!! It was so gosh dang intense, wow! I really loved the variations, because they're obviously different but they also made me feel elegant and graceful! _thank you, Cassey, for still being that beautiful light of fun, peace, hope AND most importantly, happiness_
I do this two times per week, great results! After the first day I felt it on my waist, felt so great and with other workouts I achieved my body dream :) I've toned my abs and got rid of love handles 😍😍 I work out everyday and doing this two times a week plus training your entire body will give the best results in 1-2 weeks, of course with a healthy diet, carbs and proteins in the appropriate amounts :)
Not that I doubted you when you said they'd get easier the more we did them, but I've noticed how much easier these moves are after doing them 3 or 4 times. Thank you for posting!

Anyway, it really helped me stay motivated to work out every day since the extended community quarantine started in our country. I was able to regain my muscles back since I lost them when I got hospitalized with pneumonia - moderate risk, 2 weeks before the first case of COVID arrived in our country.
