  • This Gochujang chicken dish is another great, healthy variation of chicken breast dishes. Chicken breast can be so dry and boring to eat sometimes, but the ginger, green onions, and the Gochujang in this dish spices it up so flavorfully. I added chives in this recipe but you can replace the chives with any other vegetables such as broccoli, string beans, spinach, and much more. Whether you want to lose weight or gain muscle, this dish will be a super helpful addition to your daily diet. Try making it at home today!
    I would appreciate it if you leave any feedback for the video in the comments! This helps me a lot to improve my channel and my upcoming videos.
    Feel free to ask questions about the recipe, I’d be happy to give you my thoughts :)

    i made it! its delicious! Thank you. Sometimes the gocujang sauce could taste quite overpowering with its fermented beans but with this recipe by mixing it up with honey and vinegar it removes it somewhat.

    Wow this channel is going to pop off. Love the format, /fit/ early Babish vibes, prior to the Brawny paper towels and face reveal. Keep it up!

    I found your videos because I bought a large container of gocujang. Then I realized the best by date is in less than a month. So I have to use it all quick. I’ll probably wind up making all your recipes that use it before June. 😂 so far, your recipes are great!

    This recipe looks so tasty, I can't wait to try it, but how can the salt content be lowered?

    Just finished making it and mine is super salty for some reason. I assume it’s because I used crappy Kroger soy sauce. What soy sauce did you use?

      I used Korean dark soy sauce from a brand called Sempio. This brand is possibly richer in flavor but not too salty. This brand is popular worldwide, there's a good chance that you'll find these in Asian supermarkets.

      I tried this today. Was tasting great, but too salty. Was ablut to buy the Sempio Soy sauce but in the end did not because it contains quite some sugar or fructose depending on the variant. Maybe it's rather the chicken bouillon powder than the soy sauce. Will give it another try.

    🎉wow. Love it. Is there a way to cut the spicyness without sugar?

    • @fitmunchies
      @fitmunchies  10 місяців тому

      You can leave the Gochujang out and replace it with dark soy sauce! I'll also post more chicken dish videos that are not spicy in the future

    I just bought a huge jar of Gochujang and I'm looking for recipes to use it. This looks great and easy and doable. I'll use chicken thigh meat which I keep on hand in the freezer.

      Is it really spicy is there a way to make it mild spicey?

    • @malcolmschenot6352
      @malcolmschenot6352 10 місяців тому +1

      @@finnnnmaYou have to buy the mild version of Gochujang to begin with. It comes in mild, semi-spicy, spicy, very spicy and super spicy. There are many different brands, so just make sure you buy the one you can handle. They're all labeled.

    Mine came out with a very burnt texture and looked nothing like yours. I let it cook around 5 min each side. Was I supposed to continually move it around as it’s cooking?

    hey how important are chives and chicken stock to the recipe?

    • @fitmunchies
      @fitmunchies  10 місяців тому

      You can skip the chicken stock, the sauce should still be very flavorful! The chives add a nice flavor and texture to the dish but you can replace them with onions if they're hard to find
