I got a tub of this after watching Aaron and Claire. I think it was the medium spicy version and I ended up putting that stuff in/on EVERYTHING! The fermented, spicy flavor takes everything to the next level. Added to pots of dried beans, soups, sauteed meats and vegetables - even Indian butter chicken. Soooo good!!! Super easy way to use gochujang:
When making rice, mix gochujang into the rice cooking water. You'll have some gochujang rice with good, spicy flavor and color.
I use 2 teaspoons of gochujang per 1 cup of uncooked rice. Mix gochujang thoroughly into the cooking water BEFORE you combine with the rice. Then just cook the rice as usual. Pairs well with some greens, pickled red onions, and a fried egg 😋
note: I learned this from a blue apron recipe, so I have no idea how authentic it is

My first time using gochugang, and I made the udon noodles recipe here - using ground chicken and baby bok choy. My American palate was expecting much more heat, but I love the way the sugar balances the heat. Thank you thank you thank you!
