    Hello my friend thank you for sharing my pioneer DEH-p590ib I press it to turn it on and nothing happens and then eventually the screen will light on and say (no compressor) any ideas what could be happening? I found the 40 A fuse to be slightly burnt separated I try to jump it with same results I just ordered new fuses do you think that was it?

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 4 роки тому +2

      The Pioneer DEH-P590IB was manufactured back in 2005/2006. I'm not aware of an error message reading "no compressor". If the product powers up, I don't think a fuse is the problem. It's possible the product may need to be serviced. I recommend to contact Pioneer Customer Service in your area for help finding an Authorized Service Center. I installed a DEH - S6000BS and connected my Ipod Nano 7th gen that I used to always connect to my older Pioneer head unit (DEH - X3700UI)
    It plays the music that I have in the Ipod, but I just can't seem to find a way to navigate through the music folders in the Ipod.
    On the older model I would just press the magnifying glass button on the head unit and it would take me to my lybrary where I could manually pick a playlist, song, etc.
    When I press the magnifying glass button on the S6000BS it just displays a text on the screen that reads "start arc app"
    I don't want to use the arc app. How can I disable it?
    Thanks for your help.

      The Pioneer DEH-S6000BS is designed to be used with iPhone. Not iPod. As you have found, an iPod Nano Gen 7 (from 2012) will play music, but that's about it. I'm not aware of a way to make it work with an iPod. I recommend a couple of options. 1. Transfer your music to a USB Flash Drive. You can search and play your music from the USB source as seen here: ua-cam.com/video/kKN9BkchGVY/v-deo.html or Option 2. Transfer your music to an iPhone and use the Bluetooth Audio Source to search for, and playback your music. or Option 3. Try the ARC app for Android or iPhone. It works very well either through USB or Bluetooth. You can find more about the Pioneer ARC app here: ua-cam.com/video/icdWHqbS-7o/v-deo.html Please be sure to have the latest firmware installed on your DEH-S6000BS. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? What type of phone? Please be sure your phone is not connected to another Bluetooth devices such as a headset or a portable speaker. This can block the receiver from connecting to the phone. Additionally, please be sure the in-dash receiver is not connected to another phone, this can block a 2nd phone from connecting. Here is a video from Pioneer demonstrating how to pair an iPhone to the receiver: ua-cam.com/video/Fm2U1Ck1qlU/v-deo.html and an Android based phone here: ua-cam.com/video/8t8hiqq2kCI/v-deo.html You can learn more about the Bluetooth Settings Menu on your Pioneer receiver in this video: ua-cam.com/video/_q2aLp_VAeo/v-deo.html

    I can't read the settings during the daytime. I can only get one am channel. Only one speaker gives sound. The clock doesn't reset. Other than that, this is the best car radio I've ever had.

      @deckerdotto6035 4 роки тому

      If the clock goes back to 12:00 every time you start your car, that means you have the in-dash receiver installed incorrectly. You can learn more about the Pioneer Wire Harness system in this video: ua-cam.com/video/kR2MO2kwFug/v-deo.html Focus on the Yellow Wire for constant power to keep the clock and the Red Wire for ignition. Don't wire Red and Yellow together. If only one speaker is playing that means you have the in-dash receiver installed incorrectly. Again, please watch this video about the Pioneer Wire Harness system. The speaker outputs are clearly shown: ua-cam.com/video/kR2MO2kwFug/v-deo.html Also be sure the Balance And Fade controls are set to Zero. You can see that in this video: ua-cam.com/video/hiDOCp75UAI/v-deo.html Do you have your vehicle's antenna properly connected to the in-dash receiver? If you only get one AM channel it sounds like you have the Local/Seek setting on too high a level. Please set the Local Setting to OFF. You can see it in this Tuner Operation Video: ua-cam.com/video/b7Baainh0X4/v-deo.html and if you can't read the settings in the daytime, please be sure to have the Dimmer switched off during the day. When I get a phone call, it comes thru my speakers but not they can't hear me. Can I use my phone mic? Or is there a mic built in that goes thru the deck? Doesn't seem to like phone calls. I have a Pioneer deh-54120bt.

    • @deckerdotto6035

      The Pioneer DEH-S4120BT includes an external microphone that is used for phone calls and other voice commands. You can see the microphone in this unboxing video: ua-cam.com/video/RHIJrVI37ac/v-deo.html The microphone plugs into the back of the in-dash receiver, and is usually installed on the vehicle's headliner near the rear view mirror. ua-cam.com/video/RHIJrVI37ac/v-deo.html This installation location is so the mic can "hear" the driver talking in a reasonable voice volume. Without the included microphone, Bluetooth phone calls won't work very well. Please be sure to install the latest firmware for your Pioneer DEH-S4120BT. You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-S4120BT#downloads You can find more How To videos with very similar operation to the Pioneer DEH-S4120BT here: ua-cam.com/video/hiDOCp75UAI/v-deo.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ua-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics

    Hey! Thanks for the videos! I have a mvh-s300bt and I often use the mute button but when I connect a wired remote on the back, the mute button on the remote works as "ATT" which I dont like because I like to mute ocasionally while driving to check for any car noises. Is there any setting to change the ATT setting while using remote? To make myself clear, the mute button works fine, its just on the remote side. Many thanks in advance

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 3 роки тому

      Please clarity a few points for me. When you do not have the steering wheel remote control adapter connected to the in-dash receiver, the Mute Button on the wireless remote control works properly for your application and, the word "MUTE" flashes on the screen. When you have the steering wheel control adapter plugged in, the steering wheel controls work properly, and the wireless remote control Mute button changes the receiver's operation from "Mute" to "ATT" or attenuate. If that's the case I think what's happening is the Steering Wheel Remote control adapter is overriding the Mute operation for ATT. What is the make and model of your Steering Wheel remote control adapter? Can the steering wheel remote control adapter be programmed with different functions? Many types can be programmed different ways. Take a look at the manual that came with the steering wheel remote control adapter to determine if you can map buttons differently and change ATT to MUTE. Please be sure to install the latest firmware update for your steering wheel remote control adapter. Please be sure to install the latest firmware for your Pioneer MVH-S300BT. I have a DEH S4100BT installed a year ago. My only issue is that I have to pair my phone to my receiver every time I start my car. My clock settings and saved radio stations are good, they are not affected. Is it possible that having multiple bluetooth devices on my phone causes this to happen?

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 3 роки тому

      This isn't normal operation for the Pioneer DEH-S4100BT. Please be sure your phone is not connected to another device like a headset or portable speaker. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting. The receiver can have multiple phones connected at the same time. Please be sure no other phones are automatically connecting to the receiver and becoming the active device. I recommend to try a few things to correct the issue. First, please be sure to install the latest firmware on your Pioneer DEH-S4100BT. You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-S4100BT#downloads Next press the receiver's microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer DEH-S4100BT behind the detachable face, near the center of the receiver. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/o6iawP279R4/v-deo.html Next delete all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth memory. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/_q2aLp_VAeo/v-deo.html Next, delete the in-dash receiver from the Phone's Bluetooth Memory, and restart the phone. Next begin the phone pairing process from the beginning. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/w3OlAZzLLX0/v-deo.html You can find more videos with similar operation to Pioneer DEH-S4100BT here: ua-cam.com/video/42EL_JGXcJs/v-deo.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's UA-cam Channel here: ua-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics

      If your amplifier has a Low Pass Filter or Low Pass crossover, switch the crossover off. On the Pioneer in dash receiver Initial Set Up Menu, make sure the Speaker Mode is set to "Rear/Rear" for full range output, and not just subwoofer output. Does a pioneer remote work with any pioneer deck??

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 4 роки тому +1

      Mostly yes. A genuine Pioneer wireless remote control should work for nearly any modern Pioneer in-dash receiver that has a remote eye to "see" the signal from the remote control. Nearly all modern Pioneer receivers have this. You did not mention what model number of Pioneer receiver you have. If you have an old receiver from many years ago all bets are off. Pioneer wireless remote controls are infrared transmitters and are not "linked" to any one individual receiver. If you have a remote control that's not working, I recommend to replace the battery. If you need a remote control I recommend the Pioneer CD-R510. Every time I switch off my ignition I have to constantly pair up my Bluetooth settings for my phone

      If your radio station presets and clock along with Bluetooth settings reset each time you start the vehicle you may have an incorrect wiring connection to the vehicle. Focus on the in-dash receiver's Yellow Wire. The Yellow Wire provides constant power from the vehicle and keeps these settings. Do not combine the Red and Yellow wires together. You can find more information about wiring your Pioneer in-dash receiver here: ua-cam.com/video/kR2MO2kwFug/v-deo.html If you have a Pioneer DEH-S4100BT please be sure to have latest firmware installed. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? This is usually printed on the face of the in-dash receiver and starts with the letters DEH or MVH.
      Please be a little more specific with your question. What are you trying to do with the receiver?

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 5 років тому

      Be sure your phone is not connected to another device like a headset or portable speaker. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting. Turn your phone Off and back On. Does this correct the issue? If not, I recommend to delete the all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory. Do that in the Bluetooth Settings Menu seen here: ua-cam.com/video/8t8hiqq2kCI/v-deo.html Next delete the in-dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth Memory. Restart the pairing process from the beginning. You can see that here: ua-cam.com/video/8t8hiqq2kCI/v-deo.html If necessary, do a System Reset seen here: ua-cam.com/video/Z6g0EOPZL0c/v-deo.html You can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ua-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
