Thanks PE, I thought for a few minutes....my illumination wire is not connected, because I saw the dimmer function but thanks to this video I know how to activate this function now. 👍

I just installed a FH-S501bt and I fond during sunny days it is entirely too dim. Sitting right now and it is cloudy and the display is probably half of whay I would want.

On Pioneer DEH-X4600BT the Dimmer can be switched on and off with 2 operations. 1 is to press and hold the Arrow Back Button on the face of the in-dash receiver. or 2 by using the Orange Wire for changing illumination with the vehicle. If you have a Pioneer DEH-S4000BT, no you can't change the colors. Many other Pioneer in-dash receiver models have color changing operation. @@omarikari2 I recommend to press your receiver's microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer MVH-S622BS just below the USB port on the front of the receiver.
