Mixtrax will only pop up when my phone is connected via usb and connected through the app. But the app does not show any music that is playing and no transitions between songs are being made. Any chance you could help ?

All Pioneer in-dash receivers are designed to automatically switch on and off when the vehicle switches on and off, when properly installed. The receivers are designed this way so the receiver will not stay on for an extended period and inadvertently kill the vehicle’s battery. If your receiver stays on when the vehicle is switched off, this means the receiver is installed incorrectly. Focus on the Red Wire. The red wire should have power only when the vehicle is on, and it should not have power when the vehicle is off. Do not wire Red and Yellow together.
