So far the three or four videos I have watched plus the official Pioneer operation manual does not explain how to adjust spearkers from front to back or side to side. thank you Bob
The Fader control is used to adjust the sound from front to back. The Balance control is one of the settings used to adjust the sound from right to left. Help! I can't change the radio station frequency using the track button. It always goes to the next pre-set. Any suggestions?
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver?

The US FM radio spectrum uses 87.9-107.9 MHz range in 200 kHz steps (meaning that all of stations end in all-odd numbers only - 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 MHz), while here in the Philippines we're using 87.5-108.0 MHz worldwide-standard frequency spectrum, but mostly we're using 50 kHz spacing, e.g. 87.50-108.00 MHz, despite the Philippines also ends in odd numbers.
Please note, the product in the video above is the Pioneer DEH-S4000BT designed and manufactured for the North American market. I recommend that you use Pioneer products designed for your area. While many operations will be the same for the product shown in the video, and the products designed for your area, there will be small differences like the FM frequency steps you noted. Good clear video. Very helpful. However, I can't read the display during the day unless it's very overcast. I have no idea what station I'm on or what FM band. Can I make it brighter?
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver?
You may have the in-dash receiver's dimmer on. This dims the lights for night time driving. Did you connect the receiver's Orange wire with white stripe during installation? This may be applying the radio's dimmer when you start your vehicle.

@@pioneerelectronics Don't know the exact model number. It could be MVH-S300bt, DEH-S400bt, or DEH-S4010bt.
I bought it at Best Buy and they installed it so I don't know anything about the wiring.

Does Pioneer have a model which can receive shortwave stations? I'm very much interested in buying a head unit which would include shortwave.
As of 2022 June, Pioneer does not offer a shortwave in-dash receiver in the North American region. I'm not aware of a Pioneer receiver that receives shortwave in other regions of the world.

I have the same audio system, but for some reason it does not find any radio stations... It play music from external devices, but not radio. Any idea how can I fix that?
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Please be sure you have an antenna properly connected to the in-dash receiver. Pioneer receivers require an antenna connection from the vehicle in order to tune in any AM or FM radio stations. Without a properly connected antenna, the product will not receive any AM/FM radio stations. Some good features on stereo, just trying to get the stations to remain on 1-6 on mine as each time radio is turned off these don't stay, not sure too sure why, any help is appreciated
If your clock and radio stations reset each time you start your vehicle, the in-dash receiver may have an improper connection for the Yellow Wire. The Yellow Wire must have constant power from the vehicle. This means if the vehicle is switched on or switched off, the yellow wire should measure at ~12 volts. The Red Wire is for accessory. You can view the red wire as the receiver’s on/off switch. The red wire should measure ~ 12 volts only when the vehicle is switched on.
---Do not connect the Red Wire and Yellow Wire together. ---

Hi Friend, i imported a used car from Japan and it has a Carrozzeria Avci-vh9900, annoyingly the FM band ranges from 87 to 90, should i just dump it or there a remedy to this cause in my country thre band goes up to 107, thanx
Carrozzeria products are designed and manufactured to operate in Japan. I'm not aware of a way to change the FM frequency steps or range to operate in another country. I ordered a DEH 54250 BT because it has shortwave capability.
My issue is with the frequency step on the AM side. How can I reset the step?

Pioneer does not sell receivers in the US that work with Shortwave.

Hi. What if my car doesn't come with an antenna. I have a 1999 Honda civic LX.
Pioneer in-dash receivers require an external AM/FM antenna in order for your to tune in any radio signal at all. Without an antenna, there is no radio reception. The 1999 Honda Civic had a retractable antenna, You may want to replace it. Install this antenna on the vehicle or hidden in the dash. If you install the antenna hidden in the dash you'll get some radio reception, but not great. Can someone please help me, i bought a 2nd hand pioneer deh 380, when im installing it on my car it has all of my country fm stations and after im done installing it, i can only access 6 stations
It doesn't have station 90 to 100 its loop on 83 to 89
Please be more specific with your question. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Is it DEH-X380BT?
In what country are you using this product? Do the FM radio stations where you are end in even numbers like, 88.0, 88.2, 88.4, etc...or in odd number like 88.1, 88.3, 88.5 etc...
Do you have a proper AM/FM antenna connected to this in-dash receiver?

Press the "Arrow Back" button also labeled as Band. This will change between FM1, FM2, FM3, and AM. All other operations are nearly identical to FM operation. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? I recommend to change the in-dash receiver's Local setting to off. If this does not correct the issue, I recommend to press the receiver's microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button.
