Donald’s tremendous narration and background of the man that designed and built this car are what makes this special. His driving and telling the story with great detail along with sounds of engine, shifting et al make this worth watching. Carry on Donald and bring us more!
I can see some 50s and 60s Corvette designs cues in this car!?! I can also see how the late 60s early 70s Corvette took some design cues from this car?!? What a great/clean small block sound!!
In an interview, Giotto Bizzarini had some interesting things to say about the Chev 327 engine. When he first saw it he thought "that looks like something out of a tractor" but he knew his employer did not have the resources to make his own engine so he got on with the job. When the car was finished and they road tested it he was impressed. He said the Chev engine was similar in overall size and weight to a Ferrari V12 and produced about the same horsepower, but the broad power band and low speed torque made it nicer to drive and gave better performance. Gas consumption was similar. The Chev engine cost about 1/10th as much and lasted 5 times as long.
I have an L79 in my 66 Stingray ragtop and that 327 is my favorite engine of all time. It’s wide power band and smoothness are wonderful and the sound from the side pipes is intoxicating. But this wonderful vehicle being 300 some pounds lighter and with the solid lifter 365 horse mill must be purely exquisite to drive. Thanks for sharing!
What a beautiful automobile! I've got tell you Donald between your description, the beautiful lines and the small block chevy I think this is my new favorite car. Please bring it out to a cars and coffee I would love to see it up close.
Hello Donald. Well it's a dirty job but someone has to do it ! 😂😂 l'm sure you're aware a Bizzarrini 5300 Strada has been very successful at the Goodwood Revival for a number of years . Although l think the last time out it came to grief . Thanks Donald . I think you illustrated perfectly how the same engine in different cars can give such different driving experience and yet still enjoy both !
It is an odd sensation to see the Italian design and hear the Corvette 327 at the same time! Thank you Mr Osborne!

The cars, that Mr. Osborne presents, are always very special. Superspecial!
Donald has the greatest job in the world and does it well. Thank you Mr. Osborne.
Such a beautiful car, and Donald does such a fantastic job covering the history and details! Just great.
Covering art, architecture, music and automobile in one presentation. Well done!
Loving this new intro
It is everything. Absolutely love this car above all others . Great presentation Donald, although I want car #3, the 65 Lemans winner.
The Rivolta GT looks menacing.😎

Classy video, certainly with the reference to Giotto di Bondone (died January 8, 1337)
the sound is absolutely perfect
Beautiful car.

The coolest hot rod 😎
Love the car, but Donald, give me that jacket!
I Loved the intro with the car singing!
Nice hybrid
Please show us the dash board. I want to see what I would see if I were driving these cars.
Please refinish the rear view mirror. driving me crazy.
Donald looks huge in this car. How tall is it? The windshield angle is pretty serious
42.5" tall as Donald stated.
Hey! Slow down! ;-) lol, sweet
You’ve got to wear a stylish leather jacket to drive a Bizzarrini.
Warning! Car porn ahead. 😁
Well, can't say that I'm 100% satisfied because the video lacks the singing introduction!
Refreshing without the obnoxious singing. Came here for cars, not opera. This is a much more professional video.
no Webers, no good
