The Bizzarini V12 formed the core of Lamborghni´s product rage, from the Miura to the Murcielago. All modernized versions of the former F1 engine from Bizzarini. Respect!
Ouch! That engine placement gives me a headache just looking at it. Not only are half the spark plugs impossible to access, I'm wondering how you can get a carburetor synchronizer down there to properly set the throttles on the Webers. I'm skeptical of Webers on an engine that big anyway. Seems like the throttle bores would be restrictive considering the large cylinder bores down in the engine. I have 42 DCOE's on my 2.0L Cosworth-Vega, and I think they are marginal. 45's would be more like it, considering the long duration cams I have in it.
The question of what car is the most beautiful ever made is a hard one, but I've been coming back to this one lately. There are many similar models, but none of them, not even the Miura, has the same, absolutely perfect design.
One of these cars appears in the movie the Eiger Sanction briefly in the parking lot when Clint Eastwood arrives at the resort to prep for the climb with George Kennedy.
As an 18 year old that knows all about these cars, I feel pretty dang cool that im problably one of the few in my generation that will pass down the stories of cars like this
What a beautiful car. I'm really curious what the Cd is, considering the overall contours of the body, and the exceptionally well-sculpted wraparound windshield. But wow, I would put a front-drive distributor on there as they did on the Scarabs, working on those rear carbs has to be a delight. Brilliant design, one of my favorites of all time.
Super interesting. Sounded like it was running on 6 cylinders with the idle speed cranked up. I'm pleasantly surprised that they went through with posting this video, and also reassured because this is what owning vintage cars is really like. You have Jay Leno featuring your car with a full film crew and you go to take it there and it's suddenly running like s*&t. That's life with old cars, or bikes, or anything vintage, tbh. Things will stop working from one start to the next. I love the honesty of this video.
Gorgeous car. I hope Jay's boys were able to help sort those Webers. One thing about sexy old cars with sexy looking engines- they needed to be tuned often. It probably ran great 5 months ago.

It is a Chevy ...
@footballcoreano It American drivetrain...
He says that he doesn't endorse product but he uses the name seafoam
These and any iso are amongst my favourite cars. Beautiful.
The cars of Iso are my favorite that Bizzarini had his hand in. So cool.
I did a full brake bleed and alignment on one of these today, it was a true piece of art. I looked up this video to learn more about this thing.
The Bizzarini V12 formed the core of Lamborghni´s product rage, from the Miura to the Murcielago. All modernized versions of the former F1 engine from Bizzarini. Respect!
What a unique car. I hadn’t heard of them. Really beautiful.
It’s a work of art, imo one of the most beautiful cars ever made
The Aston Martin V8 ran 42 DCNF's on their 5.3 4-cam V8, and it didn't lack for power.
I haven't heard of that one! What was the color of the car?
As an 18 year old that knows all about these cars, I feel pretty dang cool that im problably one of the few in my generation that will pass down the stories of cars like this
I never heard of Bizzarrini until now. Sitting around watching UA-cam is educational!
The rear quarter view of the car is just amazing!
MUCH more enjoyable to watch Jay's other Bizzarrini video with the 1965. Now that car and the owner are something to hear and LISTEN to.
It’s always classy to match your cars paint to your outfit.
Well, they are both blue. Other than that, you don't picture a italian guy using this type of denim.
Shirt to match the outside, trousers to match the inside. Job done.
@Kinky Streets
There are no ruffles, oversized collars or silky materials to stimulate their nipples.
Dump Seafoam, go to sleep, dump more seafoam, then crank it over.
@@aussie2uGA maybe. But seafoam ain't tuneup in a can.
Agree, from limited experience with SU's. I'd like to have that problem! 'Life is so wonderful! --excuse me while I fiddle with these Weber's.'
Those Webers have blocked idle jets. There's likely some contamination if it has been sitting. Once set up correctly they rarely need "tuning".
If it was restored in Italy 8 months ago. the Webbers were most certainly setup for European gas, not California pump gas.
I think this is one of the best filmed videos done on this channel. Or is it just the amazing car? The high stationary shots made me fall in love with this car. I have known these cars for many years but will always go back to this video to remind me why.
Bizzarrini is making a comeback they made Bizzarrini 5300 gt revival corsa this year only 24 were made. There is only 1 video of it on UA-cam so far and its on Yutaka Yamagishi channel. Looks absolutely beautiful. Ferrari has competition...........
To me: pulling up the interior panels and adding modern heat blocking sound deadening material such as Dyna mat would be an acceptable upgrade. Especially when it's a driver not a concourse only show car.
No, leave the car as it is - She's Hot !!!
i was very happy to work on this car and make it work for the show. super cool car in person
