The Bizzarrini GT 5300 | Vintage

Bizzarrini! The very name makes Ferrari and Maserati owners nervous. Giotto Bizzarrini was considered one of the most talented racing car designers of his generation. One of his many products was the 5300 GT, built between 1964 and 1968 - a car like a sculpture, with undeniable Italian heritage. This supernova on four wheels fizzled out all too rapidly, however. We were privileged to take a closer look at one of these rare beauties.

One of my favorite cars. This video is dated, you can't get a 5300 GT for less than a million today, and that is if one ever comes up for sale. A dream for me would be someone changing out the chevy engine for a Ferrari V8 from say the 430 with gated manual. Thats getting back at Ferrari. LOL

It is Italian. Bizzarini made it, just the engine is American, it was still Italian tuned

There is one flaw with Bizzarrini's design. He sacrificed structural integrity of the chassis for lighter weight. The chassis needs to be reinforced for long term reliability. It doesn't matter for a racing car, but it does matter for a road car.
