When did you first find out this car existed? Have you ever seen one in person?
10 minutes ago when this video got released
I think I've heard the name, otherwise I found out about it 12 minutes ago when uploaded lol. Never seen one in person.
I've been searching ur channel for this car since I saw ur cover pic...Now i know why i couldn't find it anywhere lol
40 seconds ago
@@NotAMiata43 same
3:59 Horn instinct: 10/10
haha its all fun and games until you get hit in a million dollar car
I have the same when driving, but with my foot above the brake pedal
haha hell yeah.
@@TedwardDrives an unreplaceable million dollar car.
Can we appreciate the production quality of this video?
Genuinely appreciate that
If you like. Yes.
N O
I'm not saying it's bad, it's obviously not but I just think it's funny to just say N O to things
True information about Bizzarrini: ua-cam.com/video/3GN-PmPx5rM/v-deo.html
You can sense that car wants to drive alot faster than the speed limit allows. It just yearns to open up.
8:12 you were literally shaking-1.2 million dollars worth of car, i would be too
haha I had to leave it in. It was such a long day. I had shot all of the B roll and while Dom (passenger) shot photos, I was moving the car around for him and hiding low inside the car to stay out of the shot while the engine was running. It was 90 degrees and that exhaust runs HOT. I looked like a wet cat after this shoot
Never did i know that there's actually a car that puts the 250 series Ferrari and the Miura together.... this is like a late christmas gift
more like the 250 and an ac cobra
Pantera went the similar path, Italian design and American powertrain
Pantera GTS is one if my alltime favorites.
@@xX_Gravity_Xx Personally I favor Pantera 90 Si a bit more
and monte verdi
You should see the Iso Grifo, design by Bizzarrini at Iso Rivolta, with a V8 Chevy
That car looks like something some celebrity would drive back in the 60s/70s
2:25 I like that even youtube acknowledges this sound as music in the captions
Possibly the most beautiful car of all time
Sounds so velvety smooth,intoxicating!
This is one of the cars that makes you ask "why isn't there a kit car of it available yet?" Because there totally should be. A Chevy V8, a Tremec manual gearbox, lots of dials and the rest should be fiberglass shaped like a mixture between a classic Italian car and a C2 Stingray/71' Riviera.
I was watching Herbie The Love Bug and researching what other race cars were in the movie. There’s two of these in the background of the racing scenes!
Awesome vid!
Damn, this video is quite different from your others with such an elaborate intro and outro! I love it. It feels like a special episode, which it totally is too!
What a drive! Crazy opportunity. Funny thing, Goodwood just had a small post about this car on their Instagram around Christmas time, so good timing on the video!
And probably the coolest car you've driven (at least for me)!
Awesome pure driving video. More of that, please.
Million dollar car... explains why there wasn't any commentary on the drive because concentration was of utmost importance! Cool car, never knew about it until today.
Haha I wish I could have talked. The pov footage wasn’t meant for my channel since it was more of a “proof it runs” for potential buyers. Hopefully I’ll get to do another shoot with it and do my normal thing
Like the old Victory By Design, with NO music, I find adding music ONLY detracts and deminishes the pure experience and impact of the car it self.
Very well produced. I could see overview/POV videos like this becoming standard fare in 7-figure car sales.
We’ve had pretty good success doing it on all the bring a trailer sales. I hope to see that standard haha
I'd love it if you got your hands on the Chiron press car that daddy Doug got to drive.
Mmmm I'd blur the hell out of that speedometer and take you for a ride!
Lol
Great vid! Happy new years!
The car sooo cool that needed to be posted twice! In the words of King Crimson: "I repeat myself when I'm under stress! I repeat myself when I'm under stress!"
most beautiful car evermade
Excellent editing and production quality, but more importantly, what a lovely engine note.
Your channel keeps growing nicely, happy new year and thanks for the content
This vid was mellow and relaxing, loved it.
Just found your channel after the cannonball review. Love the content and your videography. Would enjoy meeting I live in westboro
The production of this is badass dude
Really appreciate this new format!
Dude omg I never though I see you drive this!!! And amanzing opportunity and car!!! Bucket list status for sure. Man it really was a great idea too leave your job to pursue this career. Dude you are like exactly how I would review cars. The way you drive them and test them is how I would. Keep it going man doing a awesome job 👏🏼 😎
what a beauty
Veryyyy nice. I can see you were sitting on this video for a while! Thanks for sharing.
Someone had an unfinished replica of this back in 2010 or 2011 at SEMA. I took a pic of it (still have it) and it’s just striking in person. Even though the car at SEMA was a replica, it was absolutely stunning. Thanks for putting up a video of this thing. I’ve always wondered about it.
Beautiful POV my friend.
How could one dislike such a video? Only positive vibes and a dope ass car... some people must be sad.
It’s wild how grumpy and shitty people can be. But part of this UA-cam game is publishing content you believe in regardless of the sad sacks who dislike it 😂
Wow....this is one rare gem Ted! I used to have a model as a child of the GT Strada! And designed by Giotto Bizzarrini, a fellow Tuscan, who also designed the timeless Iso Grifo!
Great video! Never heard of the car until this video came out! Music was very fitting, lol.
my first and only experience with one of these, was seeing one being worked on at KTR European Motorsports over in Ayer, MA. I had no clue what it was, and it was totally living in the shadow of the 250 GTO they had there
Handled very well ... Impressive.. good driving skills
No super car can beat a good classic
unless its a Classic Super Car! haha
Lol
This car should have come with an italian 12 cylinders. Incredible car. The interior is gorgeous !
Would have been incredible with a high revving v12! But these Chevy engines were light, short, and very reliable for racing. The torque was colossal at the time
Looks amazing, drives amazing, sounds amazing and was "LS swapped" before it was cool.
Giotto Bizzarrini is clearly a connoisseur and a gentleman driver ;))))
Really liked your introduction to the car
I like the new intro style! Great job!
My man, you are putting out some quality enthusiast shit.
Fantastic car, good job! I hope to ride one of them someday ♥️🏁🚘
It feels weird to pretty much have a Tedward video with no Tedward.
Haha the video was originally made for the sale so it wasn’t necessary for me to speak while driving
i love your videos thanks for uploading
Thanks!
Kind of like driving an original Pantera. Excellent video, really froths the loins!
yay Tedward post
These are amazing, and proper quick too. I remember watching historic car races & these cars mopped the floor with anything, including Alfa 75 IMSA machines...... as long as the brakes lasted :P
Yes there were definitely accidents from brake failures lol.. I think one really got cracked up at Sebring
@@TedwardDrives Don't take drum brakes to a disk brake event!
These had 4 wheel discs. The rears are inboard right up next to the differential
@@TedwardDrives Ah nice, the GT Strada's ( yes, they're entered as strada... even though they're race cars) they race here have drums :) Good for 6 laps at speed.
looked like it was the future back then and still looks great today!
It looks kinds like a miura and a 250 GTO had a baby and I absolutely love it
wow! what a great video!
but it makes me wonder, why am i poor? is shouldve been driving this cars
Congrats with 100k
Thanks!!
I don't know what it is, but it's beautiful😲
This video is MEGA
I swear that intro reminded me of a tv show intro 😮👏
The shaking at the hand when olding the keys is like "When you realize this car is over 5million$"
That was an awkward silent video that I was not upset about
Italian design + American powertrain = perfection
Woaahhhhh cool!!!
When pops and crackles were not electronic bs sport fart mode dual clutch something something
Another great video.
Are we going to see the muira driven next?
I have my fingers crossed 🤞
Fresh!
Wow, cool Miata!
swoop factor is at 💯
Oh wow
The one that got away. I was shopping for a replacement for my 124 spyder and saw one of these at Parma sports cars, suburb of Cleveland. They were asking $3500 in the late 70's. I bought a Corrolla instead. Alas...
That story took a WILD turn! Holy cow
Production quality of your videos is amazing!!!
Thanks! I just picked up a new camera so I’m really excited to start shooting even More impressive footage this year. This was all filmed over the summer with the old equipment
:o classic
Wow! Just...😍😍😍😍
It’s wild right? I filmed this originally just for “proof of life” for the bond group to use when selling it, but I really wanted to share this with the channel
3:59 scariest thing that could happen in a car like that
I like the more candid videos better
Don't worry thats not going anywhere lol
My opportunity to get one of these went by because in 1972 I couldn’t afford $5500!!!!! Although at 24 years old the insurance would have been a million dollars.
Hey I’m sure that I didn’t click on a Top Gear video. jokes aside Great Video
I trust the owner has a parts fabricator on retainer.
What a beautiful car. I could tell you were not nervous at all 😂
12 year restoration worth over a million dollars...no pressure!
@@TedwardDrives only a million? Haha
@@hamburger7654 haha yeah I think around 1.2? I forget tbh. the Miura SV tends to take home close to double
@@TedwardDrives eeks
😍😍😍
Wow
Oeh man I would love to see this car manhandled like that 250 GTO hillclimb. Guess your restraint is 50% rare car, 50% in a populated area but of course 100% respect the drive haha.
haha I mean the video was made to show that it runs and drives to a potential buyer. It was never intended for the channel, but I wanted to share some of the drive.
@@TedwardDrives Ofcourse and thanks for that! Heres hoping the new owner lets you drive it a little faster ;)
God I forgot this thing existed. It looks like sex on wheels. Sounds like it too
This needs to be in Forza Horizon as barn find (that would be awesome) or Gran Turismo
Jensen Interceptor was quicker than contemporary Aston Martin on account of the Chrysler engine, a 383 initially I believe. ( I read that in a quality magazine) I'd have a U S production motor anytime. (Brit) Did some models of this have rivets on show? A big steering wheel would be nice.
I have a rare Honda Civic EX
I'm third owner and it's still all stock
What did it sell for?? Thanks
i wanna see you drive a jaguar e-type
Do more of these long shot funky voiceover intros. You don't HAVE to stick to the GoPro POV formula
Comedians In Cars Getting Tedwarded
I'd like to but this is easily the worst performing video in months.
@@TedwardDrives It's the obscurity of the car, not the production. "OOOH PORSCHE" gets clicks, Bizzarrini doesn't?
My god
Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada #315.
What country is this? Was wondering since u were drivin in right lanes and steering wheels at left side.
When someone asks me what car I drive from now on, I'm going to say, none of your Bizzirrini!
😍
I used to read Hemmings like it was the bible -back about 1980, someone in CT was selling one for 25k. It was advertised for months. Well 25k when your'e 20 years old was alot of cash. Should have got a 2nd job.... I understand these are as good if not better than a comparable Ferrari from that era. Over 500k today , if not more.
Looks stressed. But good lord the sound she makes when you feed her some throttle !😍
*stressful
Did the Bond Group replace the AM dealer that was there before? Or was it just renamed?
They sold the AM and lotus franchise to another dealer and kept the building. Now called, The Bond Group, they’ll focus on classics and high line auto sales
Also didn't Bizzarrini design the original Lamborghini v12 engine in the Miura, Espada, Jarama , Islero, 350 gt and 400 gt?
He sure did!
First time ever "X car you never knew existed" was correct!
very unique car this is the first time i saw it but, i have to say i didnt like this video because it did have your opinion of the car your signature the feel that you get. also i notice your shaking at the end.
keep up the awsome work you are one of the few real car journalists
If I was blind folded I would think you would be driving a C1. Interesting how they used a Chevy 327 in a Ferrari. Sounds great though!
