That was the God voice my friends. You can always easily hear the diffrence in voice colour and power between Roger and Freddy. That s the only time Freddy tries to hit this note in live videos you find on youtube. Yes Roger is singing the highest notes in the refren, but Freddy, only in this part, is going higher then Roger. So easy to analise that my friends! Roger could also hit this note for sure, but not this time and never with this colour, this power and this vibrato. Only Gods can, so this is Freddy.
Philip Foote who are we to judge Freddie? He was a kind , loving and caring human, he rescued and loved cats and all living things..he was just human and superhuman at the same time..love him

100% real performance by the best band ever. The tiny imperfections in this performance are also golden and add to my massive respect for this band. Nevermind they alone made Highlander a great movie.
The best voice of all time. So effortless singing, no grimases when he sings so difficult sounds, that means real talent. Talent in arts comes effortless. It just comes from within without much effort because you are simply born with it. Either you're born with it, either you're not. No music school in the world can teach u talent.

Andrew Daley so because the idea of having respect for not using phones during a concert doesn’t make sense as smartphones didn’t exist yet then so your comment cancels it self out
It's fascinating how his vocal style and tone changed so drastically in a matter of 13 years. On this first album, his vocals are light and airy. By 1986, he had developed an extremely powerful chest voice with some grit in his higher register. The only other singer I can think of that changed as drastically as Mercury and still remained a good singer is Elton John.
Personally I prefer the cleaner high notes like from late 70s to early 80s just for the satisfaction that he can do it so effortlessly like the studio version
well he WAS sick......his throat developed hard issues, we all know that. Though he never felt well, he still belted out and sounded just as amazing. His starting chain smoking I'm pretty sure didn't help. But the change still was beautiful right until the end.
@@MintiesPoopin Freddie had said he never wanted his live shows to sound close to studio. He wanted to put a different, fun spin on it all. His words, if it's the sound of the studio version people want to hear, then just stay home and listen to the albums. That note Freddie hits at 5:00 gives chills every time!
That’s Roger not Freddie
@@seanyxwynwns6561 No... Pretty sure that's Freddie going crazy high.
Brandon Schlegel 4.25 is the one that gives me chills every time I watched and hear this song! He’s a Rock God.
I’m sure it’s roger, listen carefully, Freddie and Brian is singing the lower part
Man, I wish I could have been there.
I know, I was born far to late 😥
Same here, i wish
Electric
would have been great
@@TamaraAndTheDemon I was born in 1998. Freddie was dead for *7* years by that point. 😢
"We're gonna stay together until we fucking will die." He was right.
God I wish he was still here . I could listen to Fred all day . Beautiful voice x
My daughter has been entrusted with making sure this plays at my final service. ....

Back when the world still had a soul.
I was there... I am lucky !
There is no greater frontman in the history of music. Freddie is undeniable.
Don’t be distracted by his personal life...this man received a gift from above...and I thank him for sharing that gift...his voice. Thanks Freddie.
Philip Foote who are we to judge Freddie? He was a kind , loving and caring human, he rescued and loved cats and all living things..he was just human and superhuman at the same time..love him
who cares nobodys perfect
marsha mohammed the dude was singing literally till he died.. none of us would have the power to do that ever..
His personal life is exactly what made him..
Freddie was a gift to us😢
Freddys vocals are out of
This world!!!🇮🇹

Fred is aus the venision 2019 “Respect and dignity.” Furthermore:
"Until we fucking well die, I'm sure of it." god....I cried before the song even started. If only I were born earlier...
Never will we see performer's or bands like this ever again....the music & Freddies voice.....just perfection....❤
Check out Ren. Enormous talent
That voice, that performance, probably the greatest front man ever. Really, I truly mean that.
Same here I am absolutely in love
4:55 is a powerful scene! His profile, holding his fist in air, and the huge audience behind him hanging onto every word! 💕
Freddie in his absolute vocal prime even though he was unwell!, incredible performance, if the hairs don't go up on ur neck then you ain't human. God bless you Freddie you absolute legend and God bless Queen. 🙏❤️
Wasn't he sick here 💔
@@djfhfh Yes
@@jacobfinder7476 you're right. He had HIV. Freddie got diagnosed with AIDS in 1987.
He was already sick. All his songs in last few years talk about his wish to stay, to keep on with his friends and family...
@@damircokic songs like these were not written neither about Freddie or by him
Who wants to live forever? Well, don't worry, Freddie. You will live forever in the memories and hard drives of others.
So true.
Without a doubt
Exactly
He was one of the greatest showman the world have ever seen😭💔
R.I.P. Legend💔
Queen recorded some truly amazing songs. But Who Wants To Live Forever is their most passionate and meaningful. Freddie lives in that song.
Абсолютная истина. Вершина Эвереста.
Я думаю, что я не одна, которая в 60 лет обожает этого великого музыканта!! Лучше Фреди нет и не будет!! Это легенда!!🤩😍❤
I'm 65 and still loving Freddie
👍🌹

freddie isn’t a musician, freddie is THE musician
I was born in a very wrong age to me, I'm so sorry for my self,
I should have been born in these times, where instead of mobile phones in the air, there were only hands in the shape of a heart for real artists ♥️
i agree!! those were the days!!
Oh fuck off
Yes, those were the days...sorry you missed them!
@@BrusierWeight "you talking from here! 🤗"
Oh gosh, appreciate that u live in the same century or millennium as he did so you can easily listen to this music.
Queen is eternal music. People in a few decades will even hear queen.
Imagine a child on a base on Mars in the future asking mom ,,mum, could you tell me something about this band on earth called queen? Its beautiful''
Freddie lived his life.
He had no other name. He did have family, but they did not understand him well.
Freddie Mercury was the most honest, most loving, most decent Manet I have ever even heard of.
He died fast, and young.
He's singing is pure magic......
"Were staying together till we f**** die...". So prophetic :( . RIP Freddie
the concert I worked on , when I literally bumped into Freddie, a moment I'll never forget . R.I.P. Freddie
5:01 i love how freddie said "to live" with so much energy.
It really made me cry
@WINGS MAP and? What's the matter about that? It's still beautiful and emotional
That was Roger Taylor lol

espevially since 24 hours after this show...he died
he knew while singing this that he only had days left

Just drink the beauty of that man's presence and voice, charisma, fecking everything
There's no time for us
There's no place for us
What is this thing that builds our dreams
Yet slips away from us?
Who wants to live forever?
Who wants to live forever?
There's no chance for us
It's all decided for us
This world has only one
Sweet moment set aside for us
Who wants to live forever?
Who wants to live forever?
Who?
Who dares to love forever
Oh, when love must die?
But touch my tears with your lips
Touch my world with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever
Forever is our today
Who wants to live forever?
Who wants to live forever?
Forever is our today
Who waits forever anyway?

Correction what is this thing that fills our dreams
My uncle Leonard took me to see Highlander. He was in a wheelchair most of his life so going to take his nieces and nephews to see a movie was special. I remember going back to his farmhouse listening to the Highlander vinyl and we had a sing along. RIP dude.
Каждый раз когда слушаю этот шедевр, просто переносишься в другую реальность.
As long the music of Queen is still played, there is a time for us, a place for us, a chance for us!
Through their amazing legacies...Queen, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Prince, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Aretha Franklin and other great artists will live forever!
Freddie is just different 💕
Nobody . . .ever will compare to the amazing freddie. Nobody will come close within 1000 years. Thia brings me tears to tears every timei hear it
I couldn't stop my tears. Freddie Mercury, a legend the world will never forget.

Nevertheless the best vocal in Rock history
Wood Rock actually just some sort of phrase you heard from other people or read on the internet
One of the best no doubt
And not one obnoxious camera or phone being held up in the crowd.

Was there that day in 86, was just the greatest concert EVER
What style, what charisma...and my god what a voice, what-a-voice!
These 4 powerful voices were the best of all time. They were so good together
Great harmonies. Take one voice out of the mix and it wouldn't sounds as good.
Huge respect from the crowd in the age of no mobile phones.
Andrew Daley so because the idea of having respect for not using phones during a concert doesn’t make sense as smartphones didn’t exist yet then so your comment cancels it self out
They'd still get respect....also they didn't have mobile phone's then either so your comment is mute
I prefer 86s voice, the most powerful male voice I’ve ever heard
well he WAS sick......his throat developed hard issues, we all know that.
He was still effortless, even with the exhaustion of cracks in the 80's.....still put such beauty into it!! : )
