Yoga With Adriene Hello there! I really enjoy your videos. I’m curious if you have an Arthritis practice, or if you have plans to record one in the future.
I set myself the goal for 2022 of doing 50 consecutive days of yoga, in the hope that achieving that would mean it would become a regular habit, rather than something I do in chunks when I have time off work. Today I reached my 50th day and it feels amazing! Thank you to Adriene and the community for the motivation and inspiration.
This practice was just what my body needed today. I especially benefited from Adriene's reminder "We do not control everything. We cannot control everything." Be flexible, go with the flow.
This has been a rough 2 weeks for me. My mom has Covid19 and pnuemonia. She is not going to recover. After days of being away from my yoga practice, this morning I decided it was time to get back to it. If ever there was a time where I need to stay in the moment, it is now. Thank you Adriene ~namaste xoxo Tell the people you love that you love them.
@@afshazmn I trust it all worked out for the best. Mom had Alzheimer's that took away her ability to speak. She recognized me until the end. I was able to visit her. Mom is with the angels now. Thank you for all of your positive thoughts.
Happy Sunday William! Yes, this practice was a jewel and an awesome lead into meditation and my cardio day. Nice to see you in our virtual class again. Namaste & Ase! 🦋❤🦋
I felt the same way, but that means we've made progress within. Ive done her videos off and on for years. Now a days I do them as needed due to minor health issues, but the progress is still happening. So cool!
@@magicalbooknerd I was debating doing a lil time lapse of me doing this video as a starting point and hopefully in a few months I can do the same thing again and see my improvement
Awwww 💓 this just reminded me of one time that I had a frog making a noise on the video and my dog was trying to investigate the laptop to see where the frog was or how to get him out!
I needed a good cry this morning. It was building and this movement brought it out in me. I'm still crying and releasing what needs to be released. Thank you Adriene!
I'm practicing and crying with you today. 💜 After all, "the cure for everything is saltwater: sweat, tears and the ocean." -K. Blixten. Let them flow out and they will cleanse, you're not alone! 🤝🏼

I have cerebral palsy, which is important because my muscles stretch out a lot less and get tighter a lot quicker than an able-bodied person's. My hip flexors are like steel cables. My knees turn in when I sit. I am completely, 100% not flexible. And I still do yoga five times a week because it eases my symptoms and allows me to function optimally. So to people who say they can't do yoga because they're "not flexible enough", you don't get flexible overnight, and you don't even need to BE particularly flexible. All you have to do is be who you are and have an open mind.
i think the important thing to remember is that even if you can't do the pose EXACTLY like the instructor, just trying to mimic it is just as beneficial. how it looks is not important!
Update: Adriene, I just checked my calendar and realized this is my 365th day completing "Yoga for Flexibility". I appreciate you and Benji this past year. I will probably branch out and try more of your yoga routines soon. Thanks!
@@quickgirl80 Thanks! I've noticed a lot of improvement compared to when I first started. I used to deal with lower back pain, but it went away after a month of doing this yoga routine. Also, I used to struggle with a lot of these poses (such as the half-happy baby), but now it's so much easier. As of now, I just focus more on breathing.
Thanks very much, Adriene. Because of yoga, I became very flexible. I tried other exercises which didn't work. But yoga healed me and allowed me to be flexible and find balance. Blessings 🙌 always ❤️ 🙏. Namaste ❤️ 🙏 ✨️

Adriene’s love letter this week about how this winter has been hard for her was such a warm hug. Our teacher sometimes seems superhuman. When she shows vulnerability it reminds me how much we are capable of even when we don’t feel that way all the time.

I love your concept of the calendar, so that we as a community can practise together on the old Videos and the New ones. This one especially ive been coming back to for years. Thank you for your work!
I am skipping around the February Align calendar choosing the shorter sequences as I need to maximize time ahead of my move next week. Here on the 9th for day 21's practice. Align day 21. 858 days in a row.
I’ve used this video around once a week for around 4 years now and even though I know the sequence well enough to practice independently, Adrienne’s guidance makes it SO much more effective and relaxing. Can’t imagine life without you Yogi Adrienne! ✨🙏✨I do swap in some parts like the knee bend because I feel conscious that my knees are sensitive so I lower my whole leg up and down instead of bending as this is an exercise for osteoporosis which I’m trying to prevent. Adrienne does have a practice for knee issues I know but I prefer to adapt the other routines so that I can practice more widely. This sequence is nicely restorative for someone like me who works fulltime as a gardener in her 40s. Thank you, Adrienne for what you bring to yoga - making it accessible like it should be xxx
I had fallen off the mat after January’s Center ended. But I’m back on after travel and so glad to have a curated calendar to follow. I’m bookmarking today’s flexibility practice-a perfect re-entry! Thanks, Adriene!
Lol!😆 I seemed to have fallen off, too. February has been super busy and exhausting. It's so delightful to meet you! Thank you for your comment, and welcome back! We got this. I always appreciate this session. 🦋♥️♥️🦋
Not gonna lie. I have been frustrated that I feel I haven’t improved my flexibility after a lot of time on the mat. But approaching it this way makes sense. I committed to daily practice and to creating space. Bookmarking this one. Thank you Adriene. 🙏🏻

I'm doing this for the calendar of December 2019 and it's being such a gentle start of the month, great to oppose the stress of the festive season. Thanks Adriene for sharing 🙏
21 Feb 2023 - I see that I'm not alone in switching out practices on the calendar 😊 I did this one on the 7th and enjoyed it again today. Love that we're encouraged to find what feels good and own it - thank you! See you tomorrow 💕
You are the best teacher out there. I love that I don't have to leave my house and how you take time to explain every move so it doesn't cause strain on my body.
Just what I needed today with an injured IT band. this practice is soothing and hopefully will help me relaxl and be patient till my IT bad pain subsides. Again Adriane this Yoga is such great therapy. Thanks again.
I’ve been doing this stretching practice, alternating with Adriene’s lower back practice, every day for the past 2+ years. It’s wonderful! I’m more flexible and have less pain.

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Union Day - 20 is always refreshing. Ah, I am excited about my run.🏃🏿♀️ However, I did avoid the neck rolls in the beginning of the session to prevent injury. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋❤🦋🤞🏿
before trying this lil practice today I just didn't know HOW MUCH my body welcomes stretching. turns out that it is a great way to bring more movement for those who struggle with chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression (like me) and many other ilnesses I think. thank you Adriene and crew for opportunity to explore and fwfg in yoga😊😌💟
I have to admit that today I had to really focus on doing yoga and not just sit there and look at what Benji was doing 😂 But when I got into it, this practice was just perfect after finishing my day 7 of 'yoga camp'! Namasté ❤️
Thank you for this video. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy and struggling with fatigue as well as stiffness and aches and pains from being bedridden for days at a time. This practice is perfect - gentle enough to be manageable, but still hitting every part of the body and providing release and realignment. I try to do it every morning when I'm feeling well enough and even just 16 minutes makes such a huge difference.
I’m glad you’re doing this for yourself. This is therapy but not an abrasive one. Keep doing this and you’ll be doing an amazing thing for yourself. Namaste 🙏
What a beautiful practice! I'm going to use this as my cool down after the gym because my hamstrings have been really tight. So glad to get back to yoga and have Adriene welcome me back
Been doing this for 6 years & it’s still my favorite. Whenever I need an easy/early morning/recovery/first time stretching after a break this is the first routine that gets added back into my yoga schedule whether it’s a new start or an entirely new one :) ❤
Great short session today .. I see the 40min of tomorrow's practice and I cry a little 😅😅 Happy to see there are many people still going on in blossom cal with me , today almost 1000 did their practice with me simultaneously! 🙏 to all of you !don't give up, stay strong ❤
What is this blossom calendar I see people commenting?? I’m intrigued after finding my new love for this channel and the person who makes these wonderful & generous videos. I just did this practice and I was just curious about building a foundation with yoga

Blessed Beloved Beauties! It was a sweet return to this session. Day - 26 of Begin is a yummy practice. I feel internally and externally fresh. My meditation was amazing after this session. Now, I'm ready for a run.🏃🏿♀️ Best wishes everyone! Namaste and Ase!🦋♥️🦋
The peace in me recognises the peace in you and the group of people who share these segments of time. I like to present you my gratitude to these classes and your enormous energy which found me. 🌷
Gettin over a flu and this was the perfect practice to release some of the tension and yucky feeling from the past couple of days. I feel so much better and grateful for the simplicity and space created within. Thank you for adding this to the February calendar.
This was my first-ever yoga experience. I chose this video to find some stretches for my legs since they've felt a bit stiff lately. I came out of this video with both the physical relaxation I was looking for as well as a strong feeling of being collected. You've most definitely earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep it up
Feb Day 21! You’re so right about the different sides of the body not being the same. For me even though I am right handed I had knee surgery on my right knee when I was 19 and my strength and flexibility on that side for my lower body is not even close to the left but I’ve learned how to roll with it and I can see the flexibility I have gained in that side thanks to your practices! 😊
I felt my body stretching out so much watching this and participating, a lot less tightness in my legs and in my lower back. Being severely asthmatic, breathing has always been a chore but the breathing exercises you're doing in this video helped me so much as well, learning to maintain control over it. I imagine yoga will help me with my every day life, really looking forward to getting started regularly.
I'm just starting my yoga today. I first tried your beginner home yoga workout then this and I was surprised that I've been working out for 30 minutes now. Wow!
I really enjoy yoga with Adriene much better than a lot of the other videos. Others seem to show off their poses, flexibility and such. Adriene is more down to earth, patient and a much, much better teacher than the others. Thank you Adriene!!!

Im always amazed by how quick each practice i do with Adrienne goes by, despite the time it felt like it was only 5 mins!!
Wow I needed this. When you said "the light in me recognizes the light in you" I almost started crying. I'm going to write that everywhere around my room. Everyone who sees this, have a great day. xoxo namaste.
2 years later I hope you are doing well 🤍
@@Nicm29 y'know, I really am. Thank you for that, because I don't acknowledge how far I've come often enough
Did this in the dark on the veranda in Costa Rica while a giant thunder and lightning storm raged over the Pacific. AWESOME both!
I love your concept of the calendar, so that we as a community can practise together on the old Videos and the New ones. This one especially ive been coming back to for years. Thank you for your work!
Anyone trying to be flexible in 2020?
Me 😌
@@queenbelkita_ And me!
yeah :) enjoy guys!
With you!!
Me too! I'm super inflexible so I rly have to do something about it😬
I am skipping around the February Align calendar choosing the shorter sequences as I need to maximize time ahead of my move next week. Here on the 9th for day 21's practice.
Align day 21. 858 days in a row.
Blossom Day 21 🌸
Trying to be flexible in my mind, body and perspective this week. See you tomorrow friends 💚
I don’t know how, but every time you post a video it’s EXACTLY what I need. Thank you ❤️
Good!
Good for you
I couldn’t get out of bed for a few days because I was sick and I missed my daily yoga so this was a lovely way to come back to it.
Reflect day 5! This practice made me feel grounded, very grateful!
Thank you, Adriene and YWA community💚💚💚
This is a great one :)
omg I sleep to your videos like every night hahaa
Heyy 😁
Happy to find myself at home here today. ✨💕🙏🏼 much love to everyone and thank you!
Blessed Beloved Beauties! Ah, Align Day - 21 is an internal freshness that encourages an open mind throughout scattered moments. It's time for a brief meditation before I leave for my second job. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋♥️♥️🦋
I'm doing this for the calendar of December 2019 and it's being such a gentle start of the month, great to oppose the stress of the festive season. Thanks Adriene for sharing 🙏
This is my favorite. I’m on day 3 or 4 now and keep coming back. It’s so easy and makes you feel so good.
Thank you Adriene ☀️
Day 21 Blossom Febr’22
See you tomorrow 🧘🏻♀️
Namaste 🙏🏻
21 Feb 2023 - I see that I'm not alone in switching out practices on the calendar 😊 I did this one on the 7th and enjoyed it again today. Love that we're encouraged to find what feels good and own it - thank you! See you tomorrow 💕
The light in me recognizes the light in you - every time these words bring tears to my eyes 💛
Same ☺️
This is just the type of video I needed. One that recognises we're not crazy flexible yet, but also one that is just so positive
Your voice is so calming especially in the morning! I just wanna fall asleep sometimes while meditating ☺️
I know I am late to the party, but Adriene you are the bee's knees. Thank you so much for getting me through 2020.
I’ve been doing this stretching practice, alternating with Adriene’s lower back practice, every day for the past 2+ years. It’s wonderful! I’m more flexible and have less pain.
Blessed Beloved Blossom 🌸 Yogis (Day 21)! This was a sweet practice for preparation leading into meditation and cardio. Have a great week everyone! Namaste & Ase! 🦋❤🦋
Still here and it is amazing how much this Sixty+ body, mind and spirit has changed since Jan. 2nd. I haven't missed a day. Thank you Adrienne. Thanks to the Great One as well. Namaste
Virginia N Carolina Good job! I wish i did that but i got ill and im a week behind now....
well done Virginia, i try not to miss any single day. it's amazing how YWA change our mind, body and soul. it's been six months now since i found Yoga with Adriene. I would love to hear your journey with yoga
Doing this while going through really lonely times. By the end i was so optimistic things will get better . Thanks .
That is great!!

Intention : align to surrender
I feel relaxed after I surrender to this session 😍 as my body make a sound to every stretch I know I am creating space, and for this I am thankful🙏
Thank you Adriene 🙏❤😊
See you tomorrow beautiful soul ❤😊🙏
Namaste 🙏
I was doing this stretch and my dad walked in and subconsciously followed ur breathing commands 😂
Hahahaha
Lol
My husband did the same. He was watching my daughter and I do it, now hes asleep. lol
Isn't this the best practice on June's calendar! The light in me recognizes the light in you! Namaste Adriene💕
I have to admit that today I had to really focus on doing yoga and not just sit there and look at what Benji was doing 😂
But when I got into it, this practice was just perfect after finishing my day 7 of 'yoga camp'! Namasté ❤️
Thank goodness it's only 16 min so it's easy to repeat! :D Haha!
Same here :)

Namaste 🙏
Every morning I pick a new yoga lesson from you ! Thank you for being here!
I see the 40min of tomorrow's practice and I cry a little 😅😅
Happy to see there are many people still going on in blossom cal with me , today almost 1000 did their practice with me simultaneously! 🙏 to all of you !don't give up, stay strong ❤
What is this blossom calendar I see people commenting?? I’m intrigued after finding my new love for this channel and the person who makes these wonderful & generous videos. I just did this practice and I was just curious about building a foundation with yoga
Align day 21
Happy and fulfilled
Thank you Adriene

Align 2023 - Day 21 🥳✅💖 Mmmm nice to stretch to start the day! Enjoy beautiful yogis Xx much love to you all ❤Xx
REFLECT 🪞 | December 5, 2024 | This sweet practice is taking a big sip of air. Loved it today after sleeping a couple of hours less than ideal and a long day of work! 🙏
Keep it up
Union day 20.
Day 300 of my current run. Just what I needed for today. Have a beautiful day everyone. Namaste🙏
"flexible in your mind" thank you. I needed to hear this today.
Wow!
Thankyou Adriene, this coiled spring of a body feels ironed out. ❤
It’s videos like these that make me appreciate my body. Am I the most fit or flexible? No, but I still appreciate what my body can do.

Feeling anxious this morning, so this practice and no phone time were much needed. Thank you, Adriene!
I really enjoy yoga with Adriene much better than a lot of the other videos. Others seem to show off their poses, flexibility and such. Adriene is more down to earth, patient and a much, much better teacher than the others. Thank you Adriene!!!
So I'm happy to report, I am a ton more flexible than when I first did this video. It really filled me with so much joy which is funny since this months theme is.... Joy! Ha. Thank you for always making yoga enjoyable. Namaste 🧘🏻♀️🥰🙏🏻
A PERFECT Sunday practice for me today. Thank you. Namaste!
