- From foot to crown we take ten minutes on the mat to stretch, connect, and release tension. This is your new go to yoga practice for when you are short on time or needing solid motivation. Ten minutes a day is better than zero minutes a day and can be as effective as a longer session. This one is designed to leave you feeling more open and relaxed, while not too sleepy to engage in your day! It’s the perfect little ten minute session if you ask me.

Adriene, I wanted to ask you a quick question about cat cow. When you’re coming into Cow pose! Is it OK , if you bend your elbows slightly or should you keep them straight? Every time I hit the mat I use the YWA mat spray that you taught how to whip up. The aroma creates a lovely environment for the start or end of my day! 🌞🧘♀️🌝

Same here, I used to do her videos all the time and today was the first time in maybe 2-3 years. So this 10 minute one was perfect because omg I am stiff as a board.

Brilliant little practice, I love it when we get a short, and sweet practice like this. It's nice to have the long yoga practices, but I do think the short ones are just as powerful, if not slightly more. So happy this showed up for me today.. I lost 50 lbs 5 years ago doing yoga with Adriene every day. Now, life has happened and I’m trying to lose some of that again. You always make it worthwhile. Not easy, but intentional and worthwhile. I struggled with this today but my ending thought was I can conquer this one day at a time. ❤️ Thank you for the joy today.

adriene, i wanna say thankyou so much for what you do. i discovered your channel about a year ago when my psychology teacher was having the class do a quick video of yours, to study how it made us feel mentally/physically before vs after. i have scoliosis and i remember being in a considerable amount of pain that day, but even just that 5 minute video had me feeling greatly relieved. since then i have been doing yoga through your videos atleast a few times a week, and i cannot express how much it has helped me in life. i wish you nothing but blessings upon blessings for all the pain youve helped me and millions of others to alleviate, namaste.

A perfect end to my day, i have had fatigue all day, i could barely get anything done, but this practice has been so helpful to soothe & fully stretch my body & muscles well, gave me a full relaxed flow and fasten my sleep mode.... Peace Yogi Sis! I concur. It does promote peace. Now, I'm ready for a run 🏃🏿before I return to grading. I was going to vent about some of my students, yet my spirit just wants me to embrace the peace and I will continue the embrace once I return to grade as well. How is your week thus far? 🦋❤️🦋

I'll just say this term there are a lot of females in my class and they are catty unlike last term the class had more men who had a military background. Also, they were quite rational as good men have a tendency to be. I'm looking forward to the end of this term which is this week. I will not miss my ENG 110 Course as most students complained. One female group didn't even work as a group. Anyway, that is all I will say. I have to get back to grading. That's awesome you pushed your self to run. I enjoyed my run. Enjoy your 30 min run. I build a stretching routine that serves my body and allows me to bec me more open and grounded in loving gratitude.
Perfect little diddy to close the day out with. 10 minutes all to myself to tend and give back to this brilliant body that is gaining strength everyday and doing so much for me and to also take some deep breaths, open my body and mind and practice gratitude for all of the blessings that encircle me❤. Exactly what I needed. Was going to look for a 10 min video at the end of a long and tiring day and like she read my mind, Adrienne just posted this!
I had a TIA two weeks ago but I haven’t given up on my meditation 🧘♀️ and yoga. I do my own yoga regime and I always do a yoga challenge 30 days with Adriene. I absolutely love it . I’m 71 years old and I was in my wheelchair for a year I have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis and I have had 15 surgeries. I have only been practicing meditation 🧘♀️ and yoga 🧘♀️ for 4 and a half years now but I absolutely love it and what it’s done for my body is incredible. I put so much weight on when I couldn’t do anything I couldn’t even dress myself I had to lose weight to get my 13th surgery and I lost 4st 10lbs and then I got that surgery and began to move again. I have lost 8st and been at goal 4 years 10 months and now have a beautiful amazing life. I’m self taught in my yoga but when I started doing yoga challenges with Adriene then I realised I was good 👍

I almost fell down the stairs this morning after my slippers fell on the step and I'm so lucky my reflexes were fast enough for my hands to grip the railing on each side but I also found myself in an almost splits 😂 I kinda hurt my right hip with the surprise stretch but I'm convinced that I would have truly hurt myself even more if I hadn't stuck with my stretching and yoga practice for the last two months so thank you Adriene! And everyone, watch your step 😂💜

I have been struggling with yoga lately so this was perfect, short and sweet
Only 11minutes but it really felt like a good long full body stretch. It's amazing how much you can pack into a short practice. What a great way to start the day!
Two years ago while on sabbatical I discovered you thanks to my daughter's recommendation. A twenty + year survivor of a neck injury, this is the perfect stretch for my constant pain. Beautiful. Thank you.

That was really nice for me, and my body today. I've been in agony today with a Fibromyalgia flair up, so this 10 minute yoga practice, was just what my body needed. I think it's been close to three years since I was committed to yoga, but after starting a new job this week I am sore and exhausted and this is exactly what I needed. My body has changed a lot in the last three years but you are always so gracious about modifications that it reminds me to be gentle with myself

Thank you for your amazing videos and personality. As a 50yr old who has mostly cycled without stretching, these are really helping me - initially overcoming injury but now part of my weekly life and feeling much better for it. Using some of your videos from 6 years ago and just as good. Wish we’d been taught this stuff as kids, I guess that’s happening more now and for the better.

Been following your videos for a long time now and they always seem to be exactly what I need :) I'm probably not the first to request this, but I would absolutely love if you could do a Yoga for Hikers/Backpackers video sometime - knee protection, balance, and general leg/core strength are all really important to foster to be able to hike sustainably, so yoga is always hugely helpful for this.
I really appreciate the peace this brings me! Thank you Adriene! If possible it'd be so nice if you could do a yoga routine for if your sick,congested, but don't want to get out of the habit of doing yoga in the morning!
