Watching this in a COLD, WET, WINDY, RAINY London town...on July 4th..Oh, to be in England, now that 'summer's' there...(my sincerest, profound apologies to Mr. Browning)...and THOROUGHLY enjoying and appreciating this young man's enjoyment and appreciation of the wonderful Mr. Diamond....saw him at a Royal Variety Performance (every November in London there's a concert, usually at the London Palladium, in front of...WELL, it used to be the Queen, but in recent years it's been Charles & Camilla, or William & Kate.. with performers from around the globe)..in the line up afterwards, where everyone's presented to the royal couple.. the Queen spoke BRIEFLY to Neil, but spent AGES (it seemed) in deep conversation with his WIFE..a common interest in horse breeding, it seemed... HILARIOUS!! 😂 Hope everyone's keeping safe and well.🎵🎶🧡
just yesterday i was telling someone about this. watching j's videos is like hanging out with a friend & sharing music with each other. i'm glad he's told us some of his favorites in return. :-)
It's the perfect match song.. The rousing build up goes quiet with little dynamic stabs, then the pre chorus builds you back up to a sudden release with a celebratory trumpet line everyone can punch the air to, followed by "good times never felt so good".. It sounds like a simple song but it's amazing! I wish I wrote it :)
Actually, it's the middle of the 8th they play this song at Fenway, but yes we Red Sox fans just can't resist singing along as soon as this song comes on over the PA system. ua-cam.com/video/6U2HOIK82_k/v-deo.html

She passed away last year from cancer, but I still find myself singing it to her now even though she isn't here anymore ! Just to here the master singing it again and you enjoying it so much brings me joy ! It will always be timeless to so many people. Many thanks
This was a big hit everyone around the world knows and sings this song when it comes on lots of beer drinking and beach 🏖even at baseball games it’s kinda a theme song 🤗
Yeah? Well, I think it's a crap song. All that buildup for a wet fart of a limp chorus. Neil's a great songwriter. And apparently a great hypnotist as well, seeing as how everyone around the world loves this song when they shouldn't. But I don't. Neil's charms don't fool me. Probably because I don't drink beer or hang around the beach. And I've never been to a baseball game in my life because I live in Europe, where we're civilized.
Neil Diamond in black-face in the movie The Jazz Singer. Not his finest moment, but still loved the movie enough to see it twice at the theater. Only for Neil, and Laurence Olivier. Neil isn't an actor, but the movie has a great soundtrack.
I saw Neil Diamond in concert twice. The first time was April 1976; the second time was July 2017. I can assure you his voice was as pure and strong in 2017 as it was 41 years earlier!! He is an absolute force of nature. You must react to I Am...I Said - a brilliant song. Thanks for the great reaction, and keep them coming! The more you listen to Neil, the more you'll want to listen to Neil!!! 💖
I saw him in 1984 and 20011 on his tour in Germany. 😍 Unfortunately there is no footage from his concerts 1972 Hot August Night - but the Blu-rays from 2008 & 2012 are my favorite live concerts now. 👍🏼
Also check out his "Love on the Rocks" And if you want to see him starring in his own biopic epic, then check out "The Jazz Singer". A beautifully filmed, and superbly acted masterpiece.

Yep, another good one. He sang such under the radar sexual songs that my parents never really caught on. You’ll Be a Woman Soon, Longfellow Blues is good, too. Shilo is my favorite from Neil Diamond.

Something you have to know about Neil Diamond - his best album was the original live album Hot August Night.(from 1972). So any version of his songs taken from that album were the best. Its a classic for so many things - audio quality etc. a stunnig piece of work that was never captured on video.. So, when it comes to reacting to the famous Holly Holy - make sure you choose the Hot August Night Version. Quite a masterpiece.
I was waiting for him to sing "so good so good so good" before that verse came. I was about to say he's heard this song before because I always sing that part also way before it actually comes to it. 😂
I definitely have an old soul because I've been listening to this since I was 5. My parents of course listen to this and it was some of my favorites as a child. when I met my wife to be in 1990 she was 19 and I was 24. It was a fantastic show in the round during the Christmas holiday and he took a break in the middle of the show to sing a half hour of Christmas and Hanukkah songs. Great memories
I saw Diamond live in concert in the mid 1980s. He's maybe a better entertainer than singer, if that's possible. He sang for 3 hours straight and the crowd loved him. That concert is still one of my fondest memories.

I love your energy and you just lay it down as you call it. I'm a grandma but I have had the pleasure of seeing hundreds of concerts and performances for the last 42 years. I love music, every kind. Soon as I found this out I put you on my phone and I can't stop listening to you, the music, and it brings me hope that hopefully soon my hearing will return. I will listen to you and your reactions everyday. Thank you for your honest take on performances and music of all fashions. I have been passing your name and your show to all my friends and family. One of the best written and recorded songs of all time and the honor to Diamond from Boston Red Sox by singing it during the 7th inning stretch since 2002
In 2007, Diamond revealed that his inspiration behind "Sweet Caroline" was actually written about a young Caroline Kennedy. Kennedy, who was no more than 12 years old at the time, was pictured on a magazine cover riding a horse. Diamond felt a connection to the picture. and sang the song to her at her 50th birthday celebration in 2007.
My dad who’s been gone for many years now, loved Neil diamond. So it always reminds me of him. Thx. Always love your reactions & sweet nature. Great during these tough times. 👍

This song is so reminiscent of my highschool junior band experience back in the 90's. I played sax in junior band and I spent so much of this song jealous of the trumpet section hehehe But Neil is soo sooo awesome, I love so many of his songs

H said he wrote this after seeing Caroline Kennedy as a little girl.
Love to see how much this is making an impact on you!
Sung at the rugby games in Twickenham and in the pubs after the match. Cries out for audience participation! Lots of great stuff down in the Neil Diamond rabbit hole, 🥰
You need to listen to more if his music.
Maggie May was sung by Rod Stewart- but I get what you’re saying 😊. Always loved❤Sweet Caroline!
Neil Diamond......
Dry Your Eyes
From the Last Waltz concert !
A lot of bands play this at football games. The crowd always sings it.
Nice to see a cool young guy liking my cool old guy. He's been making me smile for fifty years.
Neil is one of the greatest. Not many singers can stay musically relevant for almost 60 years.
Every time I hear this, I feel so lucky I saw him in concert in 2015 before he stopped touring. To see him do this live with the whole audience interacting was just one of my best concert moments ever!!
Javon..I ran into you doing a reaction video about two weeks ago. I haven't stopped listen to the music and watching your reactions since. Your honest. I love your energy and you just lay it down as you call it. I'm a grandma but I have had the pleasure of seeing hundreds of concerts and performances for the last 42 years. I love music, every kind. It is the background of my life. I will give every thing a chance and I find some in every song I can relate to! 2 weeks ago out if the blue I just my hearing in both ears. I had a infection in a different part of my body and I woke up one morning deaf. I am now on medication that is supposed to bring back my hearing. The doctors and I are all puzzled on how this could happen. I just discovered that if I put on headphones and turn up the volume I can hear music. I will continue to do so even when (fingers crossed) my hearing returns. Thank you. I'm so happy I rolled to one of your reviews! Keep it going. I sm going to request a song for you to listen to and review. It is Mental Heath awareness month and the song Bent by Matchbox 20 is a great song about someone who realizes they have some issues. Thank you again.

Written about Caroline Kennedy.
Can't go wrong with Neil Diamond!
Have you reacted to the late great Dobie Gray's Drift Away? You will not be disappointed!
One of the best written and recorded songs of all time and the honor to Diamond from Boston Red Sox by singing it during the 7th inning stretch since 2002
My generation had the best music of all times! so happy to see your reaction to the sounds we grew up with! Love it!
That was a great pic man! Thanks. I'm glad that you like diverse music.
Neil Diamonds love on the rocks is my fav song.x
In 2007, Diamond revealed that his inspiration behind "Sweet Caroline" was actually written about a young Caroline Kennedy. Kennedy, who was no more than 12 years old at the time, was pictured on a magazine cover riding a horse. Diamond felt a connection to the picture. and sang the song to her at her 50th birthday celebration in 2007.
That’s kind of creepy 😳
You need to listen to it live. The crowd gets into the song.
My dad who’s been gone for many years now, loved Neil diamond. So it always reminds me of him. Thx. Always love your reactions & sweet nature. Great during these tough times. 👍
His live version of "America" from "The Jazz Singer" is brilliant!
Next song should be Coming to America. Very beautiful song. Sweet Caroline and Coming to America are my favs. Have a greatest hits album on vinyl still. Thanks, great reaction to this classic.
This was the first Neil Diamond song that I remember I was around 12 😁
This song is so reminiscent of my highschool junior band experience back in the 90's. I played sax in junior band and I spent so much of this song jealous of the trumpet section hehehe
But Neil is soo sooo awesome, I love so many of his songs
This song is played during the 7th inning stretch at a ton of baseball parks! It started at Fenway Park with the Red Sox. A great singalong song!
Neil Diamond is definitely one of the best. Give his other stuff a try too. Great reaction--thanks!
With the 4th of July coming soon, it's a good time to play Neil Diamond's Coming to America. I'm pretty sure that you'll recognize that song.
Hey brother you have a really honest reaction appreciate it Neil Diamond one of the best
