My wife doesn’t even know how to start the car! Haha. I’m FBO and the car is just to dangerous for her. Crazy amount of power for a 8k car with another 8k in maintenance/upgrades plus maybe 200 hrs of learning/labor. Well worth it tho! This guy is a N54 god.

Love this guy! You have help me so much with this difficult BMW! Iv overhauled my entire N54 (turbos, valve body, inlets, outlets, tunes, gaskets and just about everything else) recently with your videos! I can’t wait to try this new deal! Are you located in DFW or H-town?
Looks like pretty poor quality control, no ? Two wiring defects, and the black box didn't work. I would assume they would check these things before it left their facility. But a great result.

Any idea how to get around the Precision Raceworks coil problem? I guess it’s a known thing but not known by many. Even Motiv knows about it and they tell their customers to replace the coils. A lot of people have positive results after, but I REALLY don’t want to get rid of them. Don’t want to get stock coils, and also don’t want to get a complete B58 coil kit which all together is over about $500.
Made me get the flex fuel kit…I have e85 at my corner gas station…also not car related…how do you like that phone…im debating about getting it lol thanks for the vids and info
Already have the spool kit installed will more than likely do the rest when it’s single turbo time hopefully Doc Race finally ships the dr700 kit out next week or maybe he did already not sure just paid for the rest of it a few days ago. Should be nice I plan to run the same fuel system you have almost identical.
Just a guess, but are you running a stage 2 pump to a 3x overdrive with the spool ethanol sensor/micron filter and motive flex fuel kit and that’s it, or anything else?
@@VehicularDIY yeah I saw it just couldn’t remember at the time should be plenty of fuel I’m going to see how far I can get with a single pump and everything else mentioned with a 6466 on e40/e50 hoping for around 650 or so it’s going on a dct 335is.
Recently I checked my mhd tune why is my stft 1 -9.0 and stft 2 7.0? Same with ltft 1 - 9.0 ltft 2 11.2 . Should be different? It would be a big help.. trying to find some random misfire..new battery new alternator new lpfp new hpfp injectors coils and spark plug... 🙄😂
Bro do you have to be on a certain version to see the ethanol content gauge ?? I tried selecting the ethanol gauge but it just won’t show up it only lets me select the boost guage for example
Did you notice that lost the cold start roar think you can find a way where you can still have that with this flex fuel sensor Iv been running this kit for about a year now
@@VehicularDIY yeah that’s what Iv noticed, After I did the single turbo swap I had flashed a base map and I got the hear it one time then cooked my 02s but I really wish there was a way too get the start up roar back
I installed my ff from motiv roughly a year ago but I suffer from the ethanol reading spiking to 100% under heavy throttle no matter what I fill the car with. Cruising it reads just fine. I've used alternate grounds and 12v sources from the directions in an attempt to solve. Have you or anyone else on this section witnessed/solved it? Again no problems at cruising, it reads fine, it's just when I'm scootin it pegs to 100% and back to normal when I release throttle. Just a single bucketed fuel pump, no Hobbs switch issues to cause it.

my gosh so many tunes and mods for these cars , my n54 has been sitting for a long time in my garage after turbo replacement for the 2nd time lol

I have a secondary LPFP that's driven by a hobbs switch. I made a video on that.

love the vid! question does flashing the motiv flex fuel kit in MHD leave the Evap system in INCOMPLETE?
Did you have to remove the spool Bluetooth on the ethanol sensor to connect the flex fuel harness? Can you only use the mhd to see your mix now?
Are those mhd tuners also a fully capable BMW scan tool or would one expect to buy one of those also?

I emailed motiv for support but didn't get suggestions I haven't tried already.
