I actually want to get rid of it because if I get rid of the lowering springs, it looks stupid in my eyes with that negative rake it has (larger wheel gap in front than in the rear) and if I keep them, I get the aforementioned bottoming out issues, at least that's what I believe is happening.
I haven't bothered to buy actual coilovers as I hate the idea of removing a perfectly good suspension set up I only put on 15-20k miles ago. Even if I found the perfect suspension that fixed my issue, I'd still have all the other problems that come with the x-drive model and then I'd still have all the other problems of owning an N54 powered car, lol.
I'm basically stuck and completely unsure of what to do. Don't want to get a newer car as prices and interest rates are insane. Don't want to get a RWD 335i due to all the unreliability of the N54 platform. So I'm kind of stuck and fear this is killing the car hobby for me. No way out. Dump the car and get a cheap, unexciting beater. That's depressing!
Great video but what about the actual motor?!
Motor is stock with every maintenance item attended to.
@@PrecisionSportIndustries what boost? 700+ is still pushing it in stock internals...
@@terryellis333 600+ is pushing it on stock internals..
@@TheSpeedAddiction not really.
Can you send me mod list ?
Is that stock suspension
They are AST 5100 Competition, inverted fronts with camber plates.
Can we see the e28?
Video coming soon.
DR700 kit is so cheap, building big single 335i is on my bucket list
A great option for soild power. Just gotta do the supporting mods to make the entire car handle it!
I have the exact spec, except for the interior. If anyone’s interested, lmk! Motor is blown, but tastefully modded.
If you’re interested, i will send you the list of the mods.
Where is the car located

N55 or N54 ?
N54
Love the build
Joss Mas Brow !!
I have the exact same car, but with 75k. Even have the carbon lip.
what about internals?
Internals can handle 750-800ish depending on how healthy the motor is! Sometimes you will find a gem and get more
Does any one know how difficult it would be or how much it would to swap an n54 into my 330i e90?
I think it’d be cheaper and less stress to just buy a 335i with the n54 motor
@@andrewpolishchuk6149 yeah but i can't find anything anything under 10k
@Faggot Rotten would the ls make crazy stupid power like n54?
@Faggot Rotten Holy crap that sound bad ass I'm gonna look into this right now
RealTime e85 reader? Damn Christian! bada$$!
It is an essential piece to any car running E85. Lets you really know that your car is running at 100%
What’s the owners channel??
Vehicle Virals. Link in the bio!
Wish I had the time to stretch my money like that 😂 eh at this point just get a 340i 🤷🏾♂️
But them new beamers feel different. More computerized, more boat like
That’s a lot of money for a n54 … this man must love the look or something . Around 30-40k including labor and shipping parts where parts were at full price just to still be so slow . Dang lol . I’m not hating but that’s crazy .
For that price I’m looking at other cars, 30-40k mods and $15,000-$20,000 for the car, damn 🦫
It is expensive, but not 30-40k expensive. Also its best to just do what you can on your own, I understand that a lot of people dont really have the time or space to do a lot of work on their own car, I am one of those people. Something like coil overs, id rather spend the money to get someone to do it for me rather than cost myself the time. But gaskets and general maintenance isn't too bad of a job to do in your driveway
The problem is all the damn maintenance bringing it back up. It's almost better to just get a M2 competition. All the kinks are worked out.
Just get a 328i and drive the slow car fast. Much more enjoyable and no turbo to deal with
that motor has 217,000 km on it?
Y’all are missing 335d trans kit. Otherwise, solid build, exactly what I have except suspension upgrades.
I'd rather have this 335 than a e46 m3 all day.
One of these days I will get my 535 there for some much needed work. Currently have a knocking noise that has me terrified to even start the damn thing.
If it a loud knocking noise it's r9d knock buddy. Will need to replace the engine or rebuild it
mine knocked.. then blew up :)
hopefully not rod knock. diagnose where the sound is coming from

Glad to help!
i thought e90 lci has n55 engine
Was wondering the same thing. When I had an e92 335 that’s why I sought out pre-lci
This is only true for 2012+
@@ryanh7109 was this different for the e90 compared to the e92? Because I know that the e92 it switched in 2011 when the is came out…the 335i in that year got the LCI, and had the n55 while the n54 was reserved for the 335is.
The LCI carried the N54 for 1 year and a half (2009 and half of 2010). 335is continued with the N54 untill 2012.
@@VehicleVirals that makes perfect sense, it honestly didn’t click that that e90 and e92 weren’t on the same schedule. I forgot the e90 also halted production before the e92.
What about the transmission? Can it hold that kind of power or did you build it?
For the manual transmission, a clutch upgrade is necessary. The automatic can handle 700ish with relatively no issue and a transmission tune.
@@PrecisionSportIndustries Thanks :)
@@PrecisionSportIndustries hey is dianan worth 8000 grand to have put in my 335i
SuperSulun
dude threw hella money at this car lol
He has the money for it fuck it, I would too lol
you dont need 700hp. 400-450 is just fine. Most people will crash and die in a 700hp car no matter how good they are
Just gotta respect the power
I literally was looking at that car before he bought it 😂
