Hey thanks for that info I’m working on my 335i right now and I want to install that ethanol sensor question where did you buy the sensor I already have the Motiv Re/flex and I’m definitely doing e85
Bought the sensor from Motiv themselves actually, idk why I forgot to link it but if you look on their site you'll see it there. It might be under the FlexFuel kit page. I'd like to upgrade to a ReFlex at some point too
I'm having some one install the motiv long line fuel kit on my car but they cant get the fuel line to connect to the sensor. Is there something he's doing wrong I went over to check it out myself but it looked as if it didn't fit
Long term running full E85 and having it sit in the lines for long periods of time, yes. It would be slow but yes absolutely. I only run E50, and its not something I do all the time. I also drive the car everyday so nothings really doing any harm. If you plan on consistently running E50 or full E85 with an upgraded fuel system, definitely better to upgrade the FULL line. Now, in this video the line I replaced is now made for E85. But as long as you switch back to 91 every now and then to flush the ethanol out you shouldn’t have much of an issue
Hey Mate! Is it Ethanol Content Sensor + Engine Bay Short Line Kit? I'm on my way to buy it and tbh a don't know what to buy cuz there's a 3 options... Sorry for stupid question.. :D
@@SamAbraham I have a singel turbo and I don't want buy helix too much problem with helix. I want run 85 mix 93 octane , so tell please the set up you did can on the single make 650 hp ? That my question.
@@n54problemsolved55 You’re going to want to do a stage 3 low pressure fuel pump with port injection from what I’ve heard in the past. There are plenty of options out there for port injection so just choose whichever you can get your hands on. Because you already have a single turbo N54 I’m assuming you already have a good tuner, so I’d ask them for more details regarding which port injection system to go with! Good luck!
Hey man I got my MOTIV kit installed a little while ago. Just wanted to say thanks for the vids and for helping me out with the questions I had.
Of course man! Glad you got it sorted
Why are you dick riding so hard

Hey, which software do you use to remap the car and integrate the ethanol sensor into stock ecu?
MHD
Do you think you could install with only removing the chargepipe rather than the whole intake?
Do you really need the upgraded lines ?
What’s the difference between short line kit vs long line kit?
Short line kit is what you see here, and I believe the long line kit includes a line that goes all the way below the car to the fuel pump in the tank

can't imagine why that would be unless the fittings themselves are just defective or damaged for whatever reason
What size are the fittings on the hardline from the hpfp? 3/8 or 5/16?
Chris Honestly can’t remember but it should be in metric
@@SamAbraham turns out they are 8mm od which is 5/16
You upgraded your fuel lines? I heard running emix is corrosive and will deteriorate oem fuel lines

Yes! Ethanol Content Sensor + Engine Bay Short Line Kit, and then you also have to buy the MOTIV FlexFuel box
@@SamAbraham thx 4 reply! Appreciate it!
whered you get this line and sensor from?
Motiv's website
Bro you don't use helix for run e85 ?
Only a stage 2 low pressure fuel pump is needed to run E50. No real point running more on stock turbos
