Ingredient prep is the way forward! I cook up some grains, prep a variety of veggies, and prep some protein (tofu, tempeh, or beans) . I usually also make up some condiments for the week - a spread like hummus or beet-walnut spread, and a 'vinaigrette'. With those building blocks in vaccum boxes/bags - I can quickly make meals for myself. Loving your approach to cooking!

One thing I must say is if I sit and just watch you cook for close to thirty minutes and tell myself that I can't wait to try these meals. They're all fulfilling and that's what I go for when eating. I'm not a fan of sweetener, processed sugars of any type aren't good for us. Overall yummy looking meals. ❤

3:06 fillers "fill out" a product to make it cheaper (like using apple juice in a cherry juice because apples are cheaper than cherries). not necessarily a bad thing. store bought plant milks contain essential vitamins and minerals you're missing out on when you make it homemade. store bought milks still separate, that's why the packages say "shake well".

I bought Plant Boss all-purpose crumbles from Target online. I don't know why it's harder to find. I had bought previously from either iHerb or Vitacost but they don't have it now. Target still does. I like the idea of unflavored crumbles so I might try the Noble Plate one. I tried the Plant Boss all-purpose in stroganoff and didn't like the flavor. Noble Plate is pretty expensive. If you can tolerate soy, TVP is a better price. I use the one by Now Foods because it's organic. Iherb has it.

It would help if you bought the almond cow milk maker. You will not have to soak your nuts any longer the machine does everything for you in minutes. It separates the pulp also.
Can I ask how you keep your cutting board clean? I'm just back in my kitchen after a remodel and I have the space to keep one on the counter all the time for cutting, prepping, but not sure with chopping veggies and preparing tofu and all that if that's something you clean everytime, or what to even use as I'd love for it to live on a corner of the counter all the time. Might be a silly question but looking to streamline my prep work with salads and all that throughout the day. Thank you!!
That’s not a silly question at all! I had to look it up as well when I got my wooden board. I always wipe it off after I use it and then probably about once a week I give it a really good clean using water, salt, and a lemon. Rinse it off, sprinkle a generous amount of salt on it and then use the lemon like a sponge
