Cheers mate, I usually only keep my bettas with shrimp and snails. I did keep one with Chili Rasboras but they were terrified of him even though he was really peaceful and just wanted to hangout with them. One of my friends has his betta fish with Kuhli loaches and they totally ignore each other and just go about their day. Corydoras could work if you find a peaceful betta fish but the personality of your betta will be a big factor. My corydoras are in my 40 gallon community tank and they ignore all their tank mates and just focus on finding food pellets or relaxing after eating. I haven't done it myself but I have seen people say they have had issues with certain tetras nipping their bettas fins so I would avoid them.
@@GlassBoxDiaries Kuhli loaches and corydoras are good looking fish, great to know! I am happy to know that they get along with each other! Thank you for sharing your precious knowledge!
Theres some beautiful guppy strains out there, I love the different types of cobra guppy personally but they seem really frail. My mutt guppies are far hardier than them.
Yea, Pygmy Corydoras are perfect for that setup, they are small enough to be kept in a 10 gallon and they are fine up to a pH of 7.4 so you can increase the hardness to meet the needs of your guppies.
@GlassBoxDiaries nice! I had 6 guppies in there but lost three after a filter mishap. Looking to fill the tank back up now that everything is back to normal. As of today I have a pH of 7.8 though
ive heard you should put Betta in last because they’re territorial. If you do need to add a fish/shrimp after a betta, try rearranging the decorations. the Betta will think its in a new place, not His home, so he wont be as aggressive/territorial
That Cory doesn't miss a meal, does he? 😂 Second breakfast, elevenses, afternoon tea...
Yeah, he's chonky😂
haha mate two of them are so greedy and constantly on any food that gets in their tank.
I’m loving you thumbnail fonts very eye catching
Caught me anyway lol
Cheers mate :)
Very green and lush aquascape! The betta fish fins look gorgeous! Any advice to stop other fish from attacking the fins?

I really want guppies someday, they’re just so pretty. Preferably in a tank alone with Cory’s & shrimps

You think I can have guppies and some kind of cory in a 10 gallon?

Is it better to introduce shrimp into a tank established w a betta or introduce a betta into a tank established w shrimp, or is there no difference?
I have always tried to add my shrimp first but I'm not sure if it makes a difference to be honest mate.

Would this be ok for a 10 gallon? It’s actually 12 but treating it as a 10.
1 honey gourami, 8 chilli rasboras and 6 pygmy corydoras
Yea that should be fine, especially with it being a 12 :)
that's 15, not 10 or 12
@@dragac90 They're talking about 10 and 12 gallons, not fish.
@stevegee8010 my bad :)
