The situation is disturbing, what i think could be even more disturbing is if they made this up! I really don't believe either of them have never seen a clitoris in their entire life!!!!! Even if she doesn't have one! Also, how are they not aware the clitoris isn't the only area down there that can produce an orgasm? Also again, there are only 75 recorded cases of aphallia. There are more cases of the clitoral hood hiding the clitoris which can be corrected with surgery and there are instances where a parent or guardian have the clitoris cut off, over 80 million women worldwide suffer from this and It has been practiced in the past in the United States. So, my win this week is getting through this week. For full transparency I live with depression. So getting through the work week is an accomplishment.
I deep cleaned and rearranged my terrace to that deepdive, it was amazing. It may have contributed to me now feeling positive towards having to clean my terrace regularly.
I keep going back and forth on watching that one-mainly because of the length. I normally can’t get through a vid/podcast longer than 1.5 hours, but I have enjoyed listening to Rachel in the past.

Win for the Week: I have not been feeling overly anxious in the week before weigh in (for the army). Ever since having my daughter I have not gone down on the scale but my waist is slimming down and I’m definitely getting stronger thanks to the gym:) I have trichomania (pulling of hair and mine are my eyelashes) and I have not in about a month and usually it gets bad the week before weigh in because I stress the consequences of not meeting the army standards, but thanks to my therapist who gave me tools to not let this overcome me.. I am feeling great in my body and not anxious like overwhelming.. 🎉

I got rid of something that had been memorializing my old trauma.
I have mixed thoughts on Bethany.
On the one hand; her girl boss, mlm vibe, and creating a course she has so business creating leaves me... with an uncomfortable taste in my mouth.
On the other hand; if she was JUST doing the sexual/sensual discussions without selling a course, I'd be here for it. As an ex fundie I can't tell you how much i felt like i was behind mentally, emotionally, and sexually when i was figuring out who i am. I don't mind watching Bethany "over correcting" and basically word vomiting sexual topics because i did the same thing in my 20s.
She's starting to figure out who she really is but is struggling with how to still be a relevant content creator. She can get a little spicy and direct.... but only if she talks about it "in a god honoring way". She hasn't found her footing yet and it has me rooting for her and hoping she finds what she needs to experience fulfillment because i think she's starting to realize that she doesn't quite fit the mold she was raised in.

I think they're going to change girl defined to fit an older demographic. They're both getting to old to be "cool" and "relatable" to young single christian women (their primary audience). I think in the next few years you're going to see them start focusing more on mom life and topics middle aged women struggle with since they're both approaching 40. 3:36 I think it potentially COULD normalise talking about almost anything (likely JUST EVERYTHING) in front of their kids. And at some point, that child WILL be old enough to catch on to what the parent(s) is/are saying around them. Children pick up much more than adults realise (often, because especial during that whole critical period of development synapses are just in an exponential growth phase.) Though I could be very wrong (I'm not a mum).

I think some content creators will purposely leave in mistakes to drive up their engagement. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but it's a possibility.
That whole situation that happened while changing the baby is another example of how many parents believe it's ok for them to override their child's right to privacy if they think the situation warrants it. When the child is a baby, they are unable to speak up and advocate for themselves, and it's up to the parents to provide that. It's very concerning that the mother didn't realize that.
because to them, a child is just a living breathing extension of themselves that they project all of their values, beliefs and wants onto. they wouldn’t even consider it a violation i guarantee it. it’s vile.

I don’t think you’re over thinking about not having the kids present for the filming. Even if they aren’t old enough to understand now, they will be able to watch those videos later on and see themselves as babies around these conversations that were then made public. Maybe the kids won’t mind, but you cannot predict how they will feel when they get older, so parents need to protect their kids.
I don’t think it’s a big deal her baby was there. Think I about you hanging out with your friend and you have a baby and you talk about topics that are not child appropriate. I mean the baby doesn’t understand, so I don’t think it matters. If the child could understand then yes I’d say it’s not appropriate. Maybe she didn’t have a sitter that day? In the early days, Girl Defined was all about how to stay sexually pure, and modest dressing hacks, and how not to have crushes on boys, but now they're both married, it's about Bethany's sex course and spicing things up in the bedroom, and I feel like that is confusing to the fanbase that has been following her/GD's content for years. I mean, GD were the biggest subscribers of purity culture, and they were very unapologetic in their endorsement. It seems like Bethany is trying to run a business and make money off the complete opposite of what the GD 'brand' was originally based on.

Speaking about tomato toast, I have an amazing recipe!! Instead of just mayo, add shredded sharp white cheddar to your mayo! It gets melty on the toast and adds a nice lil punch. ❤ its about equal parts cheese and mayo. The mayo keeps covered in the fridge for about 5 days. I had a tomato toast OBBESSION earlier this summer when we had a ton of tomatoes.
You’re taking a much more compassionate approach to Bethy than most including me. i think the discomfort i feel with having baby in the video, and maybe this is subconsciously what b is reacting to as well, is that baby will forever be tied (however nebulously, but...come on. this infant and her whole family already have a large internet presence) to this weird, shame-y video ranting about onlyfans. that's not fair to that child. bethy and kristen are adults, and they can make their own strange choices. but that baby did not have a choice to have her name and image permaconnected to both girl defined and onlyfans.

I think the concern is that if we wouldn’t want someone doing that to us “just quick” then we shouldn’t do it to babies. Just cause they are not able to say “don’t look at my clitoris” and we tend to believe kids won’t understand or remember these things doesn’t make it healthy. Babies have not donated their bodies to science and they are full sentient humans-not anatomical models or baby dolls.

I think that GD has become redundant. How many videos/ blogs/ podcasts can be made about the same topics?? Bethany is probably making more money promoting her s*x course than anything else hence why she seemingly has dropped She Works Smart and her other ventures. I think that Bethany needs the income. She’s older than her husband etc whereas Kristen was married and I think not working when she was married. So GD was a good idea/ project to work on until they had children. Plus I think that her husband is more established financially than Dav.

Ngl her "spicy dance moves" I actually thought was funny. She clearly has a silly side she lets out now and then, I think it'd do some good for her to do it more (it's a very fine line between silly and cringey, and she tends to cross into cringe *a lot*). Not only is it more authentic of her, but it just might help chip away at that whole stuffy, uptight image so prevalent amongst her ilk. Game changer for a tomato sandwich, do everything you said, but rub garlic on the toast. you can also smash a bit of the tomato into the bread as well. Love using heirloom tomatoes, and putting a bit of purple onion wont hurt either if you want😉
