    Thanks for all the videos... I have a 2013 760Li and I've been doing much of the same. Really enjoy watching somebody else do the work while I crack a beer.
    I believe that there are 4 solenoids and at least 1 pressure sensor in the Dynamic Drive valve block. You have codes for pressure sensor (bad pressure reading) or tandem pump (not enough pressure). The Dynamic Drive "sway bars" are just hydraulic motors that have about a 45 degree stroke, so fluid is never exchanged. Much like a brake system, the fluid is trapped in the pipe and hydraulic motors. The rear sway bars have bleed screws, but the front has "vent valves."
    TIS doesn't help much about bleeding the rears, leaving it all to the dynamic drive startup (which yours won't complete). I think you R&R'd the rear solenoids, but left the front ones alone, I think the front solenoids are inboard alongside the pressure sensor. I would pull the remaining electrical connectors and give them a good cleaning (as you say). The pressure transducer lets the car measure voltage across the variable resistance; a bit of resistance in those voltage-measuring circuits is a killer. I've had problems with throttle position sensors and MAP sensors. I cured them both with some special sauce recommended by the Car Wizard (no names, no endorsement).
    I've got a few more tidbits, but this post is getting kinda long in the tooth.

    Great video, I have a 2005 745 Li with the same issue, cannot figure it out too. Tells me a faulty valve block also rear pressure sensor issue.... Also where can I get a copy of the insta+ software you are using??

    Hi I have a 645ci with the light on when I got the car the sway bar was in the boot and the subframe had no mount on the off side for it to fix to. I have changed the subframe and now have it all back together with a couple of new hoses that needed replacing but the light is constantly on I’ve tried using inpa to run the ars but it won’t do it I might try and get ista+ as it looks a far better software for that sort of job. I was wondering if you have had any better luck with what the fault was. The guy I got mine off said it only came on a couple of times like yours when giving it a good drive as it’s been lowered will ista+ allow me to reset it as the correct levels ? Sorry for the long winded message but trying to give you as much information as possible 👍

    Google sent me here. i Got the same issue. But my invstigation has not started. I just bought a 750i E65. My drive fail varning comes up at the same place everytime.. Haha.. Im driving down to my garage, down and i littlebit right. And when i come in the garage i have to drive slow and "hard" right for my parking.. as i do this.. BLING. been like this for a couple of days. same spot. slow driving. I checked codes and got the 5D5B, 5D5C (pressure build-up front, rear axel faulty).. Im bookmarking this video to check in to see if you have fixed it. Thanks for the video.

    Great video again! Love the attention to detail! Any ideas on how to get inpa or ista plus on a regular newer laptop ? I’ve searched it before but never had any success actually downloading it . I have the dcan plug with correct switch just need the proper software. Thanks George

    I have a 03 745li the drive control drive moderate message pops up. When I drive like 5mph the front driver side tilts and when I stop it rise back to normal! No shop around wanna look at it🤦🏿‍♂️

    after a hard run. with it still running if you take the lid off the power steering/arb fluid, are there bubbles? I've read the pump could be producing 'foam' either because it takes in air (How???) or worn impeller cavitates - and of course bubbles can be compressed. - easy to check

    Hi Pal, ive got a bmw 120d n47 58 plate, I’ve Done a service on the car recently, The car runs and drives with no issues, however it seems to be an oil leak from the bottom end of the dipstick… going down on the engine mount and down to the bottom! It’s loosing around 1-2 liter over 500 miles and not sure what to do. Do you know why that might be?

      It’s the dipstick o ring, I replaced mine when I took the engine out👍🏻

    I'd be,starting with the leak too mate! It's a fairly fast leak too, preventing pressure build up??
    Power steering ok? It's on the same system innit? I was once told ya can steer those cars with your little finger?

      Power steering fine, yep steers with a pinky finger.
      It’s not actually a fast leak as it was still around the maximum before I drained it

    Problem its in calibration pressure sensor dynamic drive. And no working this sensor . Check in program parameters.if no work change this preassure sensor. Its a two . One to front axle second to rear

    i am lucky when mine pops up its on startup, if i simply restart the car it goes away....but even if it pops up the feature still works car drives like on a rail whether its faulting or not....but its always front rear pressure same as you. I think its a wiring issue like on the pressure sensor or solenoid and a good jerk or bit of juice just gets voltage through.....until my car rolls im not messing with it but its probably the pressure sensor, or tandem

    Has this been solved? I have this issue when I do a fairly loaded G right turn. Left turn, throw as much G as I like no issue. Loaded right turn then pop and dynamic drive fault.

    My 545i just got this if i floor it the car sometimes will power down and all the lights will dim out...it actually turned off on me once and i had to start it back up...i was told by a few bmw owners that i need a new battery

    Guys I’ve got the same problem, just a few days ago. Everything started when i made an emergency battery change. Prior to this I was trying to start the car with an accumulator. I had to call the road assistance 3 times. The last time we agreed to change the battery. We did. Almost same as factory one. After that the problem appeared and still under investigation. Car is still with the dealer and will updaten you if problem is resolved and how. It is an M5 E60 model.

      @@adelinresmelita8025 Hi, yes it was finally resolved by replacing both throttle actuators. One was the faulty guy hence did both to be on the safe side. Ordered through FCP . Cost per unit 750 US ending in a 1000 euro after import tax. This car will drive my bankrupt but i just love it.

      @@adelinresmelita8025 Hi, thought i have replied yours on my mobile but now on my ipad i cannot see my comment, so i repeat what i wrote.
      In my case it was finally one of the throtlle actuators causing the problem.
      Replaced both of them for ease of mind. Ordered the items through FCP Euro for 750 USD each.
      After customs (in Greece) the cost came close to 1000 euro per actuator.

    What happens to a car when braking system has a leak even a small one? Pressure loss and with that loss u get ineffective brakes and a pedal that goes to the floor depending on size of leak it will drop slowly or fast , same concept here but with constant high pressure bieng built up from pump, unlike brakes, the pump is allways building pressure if it has a leak anyware big or small sensors will signal ecu that parameters are not bieng met and u get a malfuntion warning, simple repair or replace leaking component in the system and wala now that is FREE technical advice not a fix but its really free

    I heard of the Niveau Sensor going Bad resulting in the error. That would explain the Random occurance. Also fluid should be a Bit over Max when cold
    When my fluid Level droped just a really tiny amount i got this DD error

    Maybe the leak is a great place to start. Things like that can put weird spanners in the works so to speak.

      of course it does lose the pressure if you have leak in the system, so fix the leak in the first place.

    Why is it green when it runs on the same fluid system as the PAS...?? I had a split pipe to the front ARB....replaced the pipe and bled the system through...after is pee'd at the PAS fluid onto the floor....curious as to why your fluid is green!

      Because PAS fluid is green. It’s CHF11S.

      Then you have the wrong fluid in. ATF fluid is NOT to be used in a CHF11S system

    Are you sure that there are no other bleeding points in the system?
    May be you have to buy TIS'es that describes the repairing of the whole system?

    i have read all the replies, i own a 2004 545i i also have the same problem, i first thought it was the block, getting plugged up, changed it three times, did nothing, next i changed the block sensors that did nothing either, i then changed the front sway bar still nothing, i keep the reservoir topped off, recently i changed the module and reprogramed it with ista still nothing , i suspect the issue lies with the tandem pump. this all started when i was driving down the highway and hit a pothole in the road around 60mph as soon as that happened my dynamic warning came on . i think a seal or sonthing in the pump went bad i plan to replace it in the spring when the weather gets better. hope this helps out everyone

    I had the same issues on my 7series, alarms showing Dynamic failures, Transmission failure, turned out to be an ABS sensor!!, the sensor failing caused all sorts of Electrical Cliches due to the voltage errors.

      Well we have a new battery, transmission has been fully serviced and we have no other codes so I think this is a solely dynamic drive issue

    Hi George, did you ever get this fixed? I can't find an update video.
    I'm currently having the exact same problem on my E64 - leak coming from the DD motor thing on the front ARB. BMW specialist it's that motor that's faulty but as it's attached to the entire sway bar, the whole unit needs to be replaced. Luckily it all comes as one piece. Did you come to a similar conclusion? Cheers

      Why did they say that the sway bar is faulty? There’s really not much that can go wrong with the sway bar itself

      @@GeorgeAusters that leaking unit that you point to early on in the vid, well they say it cant be replaced on its own - if that comes off then so does the whole stabiliser it's attached to. Sorry, I'm not very technical so hope it makes sense. BMW want £1600 for a new one, eBay much cheaper but also more risk.. is yours still leaking?

      @@alexk2967 @George Austers you can reseal the boots, but it will then start leaking where George's leak is coming from, shown on his video because there's an o ring inside that part where it swivels. You can't re seal that you'd have to disassemble it fix a new o ring.

    The first place to start as you rightly suggested would be to address the leak, once that's resolved then you must check the fuse for the dynamic drive found in the front storage compartment, finally, if that doesn't sort it out then you could try resetting the vehicle either by pressing the onboard computer preset knob next to speedometer or by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes allowing the ECU to reform and readapt any changes, that should address the issue, however, if still no joy then it's highly possible that the part which is leaking requires replacing or the wiring is defective which will become apparent once you have followed all above steps

      Also I got kinda of bad rear and front shocks that I am aware off! They need to replaced asap. Could this be the problem I really like the car it has low miles and I don’t wanna hate it !

    It won’t be the leak mate , I’ve got a 760li & same problems , mine wasn’t leaking & also it won’t be the dynamic control arm , has I’ve changed mine “made no difference” & still getting same ista+ faults that u are getting !!

      @@GeorgeAusters have you got around to changing your Reservoir yet, I did a full chf 11s oil change & sabe has you , fault is less often !! Ps what makes u think it could be reservoir , I also changed the lateral sensor “tells the car what angle ie “body roll” . It’s under drivers floor , that helped loads !!
      I’m going with pressure sensor nxs ,

      Mate I’ve fixed it at last , I’ve just changed my lower control arm drivers side & she started dancing straight away (we’ll make engine warmed up) !! If u use your ista & start the ars , the side it leans too then it falls test , go with that side mine was 0/S front !!

      @@GeorgeAusters I’ll be following this closely, as my 530d F11 has the S229 Dynamic package and the S2VA Adaptive drive. I recently had to buy a rear damper to the tune of £560, then after fitting it had to be coded to the car which cost me a further £125. Shocking in more ways than one, but it makes the car handle brilliant for such a large estate. Keep up the great down to earth content George. 😁👍
