Morrowind community is insanely amazing. VitruvianGuarm, you have done such an amazing job with the mechanics of this mod that I'm at a loss for words.

For the last few years I've only been playing on Open MW. I don't know what made me this way, but for some reason I enjoyed it much more than vanilla engine (might just be a few dozen hours of pure pain when I was trying to mod it) but this is THE mod that shall bring me back. This is simply beautiful. Exactly what I always wanted since I first learned about the very concept of necromancy.
it's kind of too bad stuff like this is being made for vanilla. OpenMW is the future of Morrowind especially when they get into de-hardcoding everything.
There is an OpenMW Necromancy mod called Practical Necromancy, doesn't quite have all the features seen here, it's a bit more simplistic, but it does do some of the same stuff. Hasn't been updated in a while, and I haven't personally played it, but it's a potential alternative if you'd rather stay on OpenMW - www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47390
@@Aaezil My understanding is that it requires the expanded script coding of MWSE, which OpenMW has been extremely cautious about implementing (seeing as expanding the code language would allow unscrupulous modders to write a worm/trojan program directly into the game engine, which would circumnavigate most malware/anti-virus security systems). As of .47, the Open MW team has begun to expand into Lua compatibility. Here's hoping .48 brings even more Lua compatibility into the superior engine.
Man if only Morrowind supported more than one core lol. Been using this mod for a while and it's made me want to do some kind of Forsworn Briarheart themed playthrough
Darkelfguy, back when you showcased Vampire Embrace, you talked about overrunning Vvardenfell with an army of vampire minions. Is there something you're trying to tell us?
What? Why would you think that? It's not like there's some sort of established pattern going on here, like that time I invaded Pelagiad with an army of kwama foragers when showcasing Tel Scelestus, or that time when I attacked Seyda Neen with an army of rats courtesy of Merlord's Character Backgrounds. No, no, there's nothing nefarious going on here, nothing at all!
@@austinbyrd1703 wdym, BR has different skeletons for each race, with stats based on the character killed, zombies that can come from recently deceased corpses, and mummies, and mages. The flavor comes from the uniqueness of each undead.
I really love this mod so far. Really wanna cheat to see what lichdom provides. Do you know how to increase my corpse preparation level & find the stuff to become a lich?
For anyone if you’re reading this, i need help. Ive done every necromancer quest (found them in the mod code lol) besides gorris the maggot king, his quest doesn’t work for some reason (it just doesn’t appear). I know how to make black soul gems, conceal undead, faint death, my corpse preparation is at 100 i also think i can summon and rase all of the available undead not sure for 100% but most likely. Ive also gotten the book the darkest ritual, but the quest giver said it was a fake and it doesn’t work. I know i need some kind of philanthropy in oblivion it was an hour glass but i think here is going to be azuras star( black version of it maybe) or a black soul gem. When looking around in the mods code i found an unobtainable item that gives me the lich transformation spell but the spell just kills me and besides i want to get it legit. So please if you’ve got any tips or even better a solution about becoming a lich i would be very happy to hear them. This mod is new so there isn’t any info online about it and i know im close but i gave up a while ago. Also you cant soul trap youself so idk how to get the soul in the philanthropy or even if i got the right one. ( A normal azuras star)

I made sure that there are no overwrite files but yet every single time i dispose a corpse I dont get bones. Please help. I installed ALL the pre-req mods for necromancy. Could you please help me?!!! your mod vids are so good! I really hope you see this
Look to the lore revealed in Oblivion about liches, and how liches are made in D&D. They will provide hints. Also there is an orc member of the Mage's Guild who practices necromancy in secret who may point you in the right direction if this mod accounted for that correctly.

Man, I really hope future versions of OpenMW are Lua compatible enough to run this! I can see some hysteria in a necromancer multiplayer game.
Local Necromancer's Union clearing out dwemer ruins for their private museum and sells interesting relics to the Telvanni
the practical necromancy mod is simpler and it even has Lichdom! its super cool nd its only for openmw

I like how they thought of making it illegal to practice necromancy in public, something that never existed in the original game.
The spell cost of necromancy skills are not in terms of magicka, but in FPS

Blasphemous Revenants is a great mod too, it just eats frames.

Blasphemous Revenants is good for having a few undead as "your dudes" rather than hordes.
