Yes sir, a new mod even. Made in late 2019 and getting the finishing touches as we speak. Since my video the modder has added wraith form, ghost form, skeleton form and a big badass creature called the abomination, along with more fixes and improvements.

The modder adds more features and improvements every few days, so it'd make sense to wait for them to finish before making a new video and have it become obsolete in a few days. They just announced today the new version 3.2 which adds a new minion called the Hulking Zombie which can use equipment like the skeletons can.

I don't think its wrong to state that you are the number one expert within necromancy in pop culture, especially games. Now have you looked at the Undeath mod for Skyrim? As it is considered that lichdom is the ultimate goal off a master of necromancy I am curious what you opinion of it is.

I'm currently taking a bit of a break from Skyrim just because I've been playing it for a very long time (ever since release, on and off) and I have something like 1000 hours played between Oldrim and SE. I want to give the things I review a fair go and for my judgement of them to not be clouded with my feelings of burnout/fatigue toward the game, so I'm going to wait until I feel like I'm ready for another go at Skyrim, at which point I've got a long list of Skyrim mods to try out.
@@chebgonaz Ever wondered why that is? There is so much potential in skyrim, but most mods fall flat when compared to something of the complexity of Bears and necromancy and lichdom
@@roque87 Oblivion is a richer game in many ways but especially when it comes to Necromancy. The game has more undead types, a greater focus on Necromancy within the world and lore, incredible quests like the Benirus Manor that really stimulate the mind. Skyrim has skeletons that will perish in one blow. Oblivion has skeletons that will perish in one blow, but also skeleton guardians, skeleton heroes, etc. that are significantly stronger and wear armor etc. It also has a greater horror aesthetic and more soul as a game overall. For all the aforementioned reasons, I speculate that Oblivion retains a smaller but more passionate crowd of necro-enthusiasts when compared to Skyrim
@@chebgonaz Oh yes, definitely! Oblivion is also responsible for furthering my interest in necromancy, that old necromancy mod for morrowind, revenant? Something, morrowind also had some amazing necromancy mods and dwemer stuff, but one thing that never sat so well with me is that having lots of minions sometimes trivialized the game which is something that happens in skyrim but the scale of the game there is way higher, but no necromancy to match, well there is the dark arts, undearh, corpse preparation and probably others, but they feel half as creative as these morrowind and oblivion ones, I wonder if that's a issue with the vanilla game itself, like you have described about oblivion, it had so many mods, moriarcis, there was a really, really old one, fellas literally were working on visual dissecation, could make bomb zombies, skellies, just the basics but it was impressive However never migrated from the WIP, RIP I wish I had more details

I think if you look at the mod landscape in Skyrim and see something missing, perhaps you should try to fill that gap yourself? No one else will, unfortunately. That much I've learned. I've been hesitant to download this mod because I'm worried that it won't be compatible I don't want to spend 30 40 minutes making my character look really nice just to end up having them ugly or mess up the model or something.
Hi, you're welcome. The only mods I am using, as far as I'm aware, are the ones listed in the video and/or in the description. I don't believe any character creation overhaul is included. I don't think this mod would affect your character's appearance but I'm honestly not sure
I've been planning on doing a playthrough for an evil character for a short time now, and this looks essential. I'm planning on going vampire rather than full lich as I've got a small new overhaul called JJ's vampirism, I found o e that adds some more usage to Shady Sam where he can supply you with human blood, I'm using Maskar's Overhaul and will be playing around with some of his added bandit factions, and I'm gonna play through a Brotherhood Renewed. The only things I'm concerned about now for the playthrough are sun damage, and finding merchants to trade with at night. Anyone have any recommendations for mods?
Not sure, I'm not too deep into the vampire stuff. If no one answers you here, you can try asking on my discord. There's a lot of vampire fans there. Although not vampire related at all, I highly recommend using the ENB. It'll provide a subtle graphics enhancement but a significant stability boost.

@@geraltgrey-mane695 Sorry, I have never experienced this. Maybe you can try the usual stuff like renaming the oblivion ini, so it gets created freshly, validating game data (if it's steam), etc.
@@chebgonaz hey I tried to give my skeleton a weapon but it didn't work and I also can't harvest my materials back or reanimate him again after he dies. Is this a bug or do I unlock those things later on?
@@austinbyrd4164 As far as I know, being unable to reanimate him again after he dies is not a bug. They stay dead forever and you must make a new one. But he should have animated with the weapon, so him not using the weapon you gave is probably a bug caused by your other mods, load order, etc. Can you plz tell me your mod list & mod order?
We're a rare breed. Check out my other videos - 99% of them are necromancy stuff. You're bound to find something to play. Necromancy's the focus of my channel. The remaining 1% is stuff that's similar but not quite necromancy, like standard conjuration or robot army stuff.
You remain whatever race you were and retain its benefits (eg. magic resistance & magicka boost if you're breton) but you gain on top of that all the lich benefits.
Agreed, it is. By a whole lot. If you like this, I also recommend you look into the Mysterious Bear's Epic Necromancy mod for Oblivion. It is really good as well and offers lair crafting

It's one of those cases where what's better comes down to what you're looking for. I wrote a written comparison on my discord, here's a screenshot: imgur.com/a/ubMS5wG You can use both mods simultaneously but the minions themselves may fight each other. I am not sure. The mechanics of either mod complement each other well (eg. grave robbing from Epic Necromancy can provide bones etc. used to create Necromancy and Lichdom minions) and Epic Necromancy has a very incredible lair mechanic that is simply jaw-dropping with what it lets you do. It lets you make a necromancy lair similar to a settlement from Fallout 4. I think overall Necromancy and Lichdom is better, but I always run both even if I only want to use Necromancy and Lichdom minions because of the lair. Epic Necromancy is better for destroying the world with because of features like zombies that spread a disease that turns other people into zombies when they die. You begin with 1 zombie and when you're done with the dungeon, you have 12
@@chebgonaz Hey there, sorry for the late reply. Does this mean i can use the organs i get from slashing corpses with my knife from bear's to make minions for Necromancy and lichdom? If that's the case, it's really great.
@@chebgonaz Uh so the one from Necromancy and lichdom gives you severed head, severed limbs, etc... But if you use the knife from Mysterious bear's, you get skin and bones. So i don't think you can create zombies, unfortunately. Really wish someone could fix the bugs from Mysterious bear's because it's great.

Anyone had music stutter and weird noise happend after like 10-20 mins of gameplay in Oblivion? All other sounds are fine only music?
