  • My full review of the impressive Casio CT-X700. It's a big leap up from its predecessors, and this is just the new 'entry' level for Casio.

    I have sent George W over here from my channel for his Casio CT-X700 fix. 😉

    Thanks a lot .for this video.Actually I am a novice and bought this keyboard,I was really concerned with the subtle drum beat type of sound after pressing the piano keys ,especially in Grand Piano mode.I thougth this as some sort of manufacturing defect. I even contacted the service team. Luckily I could not find a service centre near me,otherwise I would have taken this to them.But whemn you told in this video , that the hammer drop sound is found in original grand piano, and this model perfectly emulates that, I had a shy of relief.THANK you again

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  6 років тому +3

      I'd got the for the CT-X700, the sounds are generally better and the PSR-E363 has none of the features that makes the 463 a decent competitor. not bad at all. very good sound for just being an entry levil. I would've pegged it for an intermediate at least. way better then some of the ctk models. I have the ctk4400. the sounds. well, aren't a real let down, they're not too bad, especially the organs, synths. but, I usually just keep it as it was a christmas gift, and well, I don't like to take things that my parents bought me back. I always thought the ctx was hire end, and all the ctks were entry level I actually sold my roland e-28 on fb market place for $50 canadian. wanted more, but that was the only offer I got, as I was only selling in my hometown, or outside the city. I suppose different numbers would have different levels. but to be honest, I never understood. some people would call entry level, but yet some would call it pro. I'd get the ctx, maybe someday, but my heart is set on a cts1 right now. love the video, and as always all your videos.

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  13 днів тому +1

      Sorry to hear you got such a low price for your E28! But yep, it’s much harder when you’re not close to a major Metro area. Also agree that the CTX 700 is impressive for its price. I have to be honest that despite the quality I got quite bored with the selection of sounds reasonably quickly, so I guess that’s something to consider if you want to move outside the basic such as piano, strings etc.

      The CT-X800 has USB connection. I think it's the best piano sound for the money. Either that or try to find a second-hand Korg synth maybe? :) #gearfacts
