I even contacted the service team. Luckily I could not find a service centre near me,otherwise I would have taken this to them.But whemn you told in this video , that the hammer drop sound is found in original grand piano, and this model perfectly emulates that, I had a shy of relief.THANK you again

Tried to engage the Arpeggiator = Naff! This function is darned Difficult 💣🔥🔥🔥 Casio manual is not much help neither, confusing ...ℹ Your video explains it much better ✔ They could have used a selector wheel or sliders to make the ARP function more user friendly. 🎭😎 Kudos 🔔🔔🔔
as for the sound quality, wk500 vs ctx700 which is better? now i have wk500 and it is old but has 6wx2 speakers, so I am not sure i have to go for ctx700.

Hi :) It sounds like the power adapter you're using is either faulty of the wrong voltage. Sometimes power adapters made for different kinds of devices can create buzzy noises or tones. So I'd try replacing it. Good pace to start anyway.

Hi, I don't have the keyboards anymore but I've reviewed them both. I suggest opening two windows on your browser and playing each review side by side, listening to the differences in piano sounds. I think it's unanimously agreed that the Casio sounds better out of these particular two :) #gearfacts
I'd start by connecting a decent bluetooth speaker using AUX from the keyboard's headphone socket. Some of those speakers have a really good tonal range and they have excellent volume for their size. I'd try this before moving on to keyboard amps/

They sell really cheap (sometimes even given away) and are often quite loud. Don't buy new speakers if you are on a budget, old speakers often sound just as good, they last for years.
Some smartphones have a headphone socket that doubles as a mic socket. Try feeding a cable into there and seeing if the sound appears in your voice recording app :) Gearfacts

Hi TKH, my daughter is probably the best person to ask about this! She has had a lot of success with JBL speakers, and swears by them. I'm pretty sure they make some computer speakers around the $50 mark, so that might be a good place to start. Me personally, I'd go second-hand and find the most powerful Bluetooth speaker I could for that money. Just about all of them have an AUX socket for connection, and they often have surprisingly good volume. Hope that helps! Gearfacts

I hear what you're saying about the need for video tutorials though, these things aren't easy to use. I'll see what I can come up with :)
They are difficult to operate, no doubt about it! And the manuals are hard to read. All I can really show you is what I've put in the videos. I even made a video dedicated to the subject of how hard Casio's CT-X keyboards are to operate. Hello I have a problem with mine, no key is heard and I do not know what the problem is and I do not know if an option could be resetting it, how can I reset it? or how can I make it heard again?
Nothing stuck in the headphone socket? I left a socket adapter in one once and there was no sound ...confusing for a while but easily fixed! Volume dial turned up? Sometimes having no sound is due to the simplest thing
I think you can, if you use your split control. I think you can invert the split somewhere, so that the part that doesn't arpeggiate is on the right. I might be wrong tho
not bad at all. very good sound for just being an entry levil. I would've pegged it for an intermediate at least. way better then some of the ctk models. I have the ctk4400. the sounds. well, aren't a real let down, they're not too bad, especially the organs, synths. but, I usually just keep it as it was a christmas gift, and well, I don't like to take things that my parents bought me back. I always thought the ctx was hire end, and all the ctks were entry level I actually sold my roland e-28 on fb market place for $50 canadian. wanted more, but that was the only offer I got, as I was only selling in my hometown, or outside the city. I suppose different numbers would have different levels. but to be honest, I never understood. some people would call entry level, but yet some would call it pro. I'd get the ctx, maybe someday, but my heart is set on a cts1 right now. love the video, and as always all your videos.
Sorry to hear you got such a low price for your E28! But yep, it’s much harder when you’re not close to a major Metro area. Also agree that the CTX 700 is impressive for its price. I have to be honest that despite the quality I got quite bored with the selection of sounds reasonably quickly, so I guess that’s something to consider if you want to move outside the basic such as piano, strings etc.
I'm looking to buy my first keyboard as a beginner. In my country YAMAHA PSR e363 is slightly cheaper than (around 10%) CASIO CTX 700. Considering sound quality and overall facts, Which keyboard should I buy? I'm confused. Can you help me? What do you recommend?
The only Yamaha keyboards that beat the Casio keyboards are the ones that start with a "4". They have the dynamic control knobs, and they make ALL the difference! The Casios clearly outperform the Yamaha keyboards that start with "3" or "2". So in your comparison, I'd buy the Casio.
Factory reset is often good for problems like this. The keyboard will be not be harmed, just be sure to backup any work you have created before doing the factory reset in the function menu under "other" :) #gearfacts

The CT-X800 has USB connection. I think it's the best piano sound for the money. Either that or try to find a second-hand Korg synth maybe? :) #gearfacts

You can do it, but only from the headphone socket. So you may need an audio splitter, but it wouldn't be expensive :)

Yes, it's the color (the 700 has red accents and the 800 is all black) and the 800 has a pitch bend wheel. They have the same sounds.

Save a bit longer and get an Anker Soundmotion +. That is for the price the best available loudspeaker and it will last you many years.

The USB doesn't support realtime recording, it's only there to communicate with your computer or act as a controller for software :) #gearfacts

Casio keyboards are the "play school" upgrade musical toy .. designed por learning children who doesn't care about the quality of the sounds.
Exactly. The pros use high-end synths that cost 5 times the price.
Sounds good to me. I just want to learn and upgrade later if I enjoy it.
Sound quality is great, its just build quality thats not as good as the psr e363
Casio keyboards do have really good organ sounds.
