At only $450 for the 5000, you don't need to "go cheap." In other words, If the GENOS from YAMAHA attempted the SAME thing as the 5000, they'd go fucking BROKE!!!!
Let me say ONE thing: Had the MZ-X3000 here. For ONE Day. Thew features are amazing...but it sounds like crap. I am a professional Composer. I thought about buying a arranger workstation to get inspired in Songwriting without dealing arranging it. To focus just on composition. But I cannot do this when the intern Sounds and rythms...juist sound like cheap Casio. Its like putting a Ferrari body on a Fiat base. Shiny, handsome....but dont you ever switch the key. There is a reason why the MZ-X300 is now sold for under Store purchasing prize...and the MZ-X5000 kinda vanished.... I guess some "extra smart young marketing genius, fresh from some exclusive Business College had lost his first gig too. But, hey, maybe he finally has the time to learn to play an Instrument...like tambourine ;-) So far i heard, comparison between the old MX to the new AIX Series Key
I have an opposite feeling concerning the MZ-X300 : the sounds are great (they are far better than my Yamaha PSR-E453, so if the Casio MZ sounds like a toy, how can we call the Yamaha ? a joke ? And I think the Yamaha has decent sounds for the price). I'm more disappointed by the "body" of the MZ that give the impression of lower quality than the "cheap" Yamaha... But I'm not a professional, and I have no idea of the sound quality of a high-end arranger. I don't think that there is a so big difference between the AIX sounds and the one in the MZ-X : au contraire, it seems that the CT line has inherited of the better sound of the MZ line, maybe with some improvments here and there... This is why I am curious to hear about the difference from someone who knows the 2 instruments.
I have at last tried a CT-X700 in a shop yesterday and AIX sounds are MUCH better. MZX has great features and screen, but imo very poor quality basic and acoustic instruments. It does have some nice synth sounds though.
I also have the opportunity to test a CT-X800 a few days ago, the sounds are great but I didn't notice a real improvment over the MZ-X300. But I must admit that the little speakers of the CT-X800 are maybe the reason I was not impressed.

What’s the difference from CT X3000?
Hello everyone, hello Mike. Can you tell me how the new Aix sounds are compared to the sounds of the MZ-X serie ? Better ? Equivalent ?
But, hey, maybe he finally has the time to learn to play an Instrument...like tambourine ;-)
So far i heard, comparison between the old MX to the new AIX Series Key
Thats my Opinion to...I dont understand the instrument. Send my mzx3000 back.....
You cannot use one single sound
I also have the opportunity to test a CT-X800 a few days ago, the sounds are great but I didn't notice a real improvment over the MZ-X300. But I must admit that the little speakers of the CT-X800 are maybe the reason I was not impressed.
Can the X-700 CT keyboard be used as a Midi controller? Help, I'm buying this or the yamaha psr363 ...
Fénix de Dios yes of course.
@@casiomusicgear, Proper 5 pin DIN MIDI, or only USB?
TooSlowTube Only USB in this price range.
@@HubertEtAlice, You do realise the parts needed cost about $2 or less, and the code to make it work is considerably simpler than for USB?
So, what price range do Casio consider it's worth doing that for, as opposed to excluding customers like me from buying this one?
@@TooSlowTube yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Please make a vedio on styles
Please review ctx-9000 😊
Does it has Harmonium sound?
Yes it has.
My keyboard is not picking up my sustain pedal, any ideas why? I've tried two and they both work on another piano but not on my CT-X700.
@Tom Jones Actually, I just fixed it. The polarity is reversed which is really awkward and annoying but it was my pedal. One of the wires was snipped by the spring within. I would highly recommend opening up your pedal.
@Tom Jones How do i make the sustain peddle not linger? Like i tap it and it turns it on and holds it. when i tap it off, it turns it off completely. Help!
How to make the sound last longer?
@@shreyahegde8904 how do u enable sustain without having pedals?
Hold down function key and power
what is chord mode
Chordsmode helps you to add chord progression to your music.
Does it support chordana casio app
does it have a metronome?
I can't figure out how to change chours and reverb
Musician’s Friend item description says this has a 6 track recorder. Can anyone please verify this?
Yes, a 6 channel MIDI recorder.
How to mix the voice in CT-X700
You can't.
By using layer button you can add two different tones and you will have dual voice as in Yamaha
Does it have 4 style variations? Master equalizer?
CT-X3000 and CT-X5000 both have 4 variations and a Master EQ (fully editable EQ on the CT-X5000). The CT-X700 does have 10 Master EQ presets.
I ask, because I'm used to play much more expensive instruments, but want something, that can be powered with batteries. When I purchased styles, I got also the styles in Casio format, does this Casio play the old styles?
You'd have to go to a CT-X3000 to get battery power and the ability to load styles.
Yes, I noticed this, but wasn't sure about compatibility to old styles. One more question, there is a style assembly function, that I can mix styles?
no. this is the entry level of the ctx line up so it's just plug and play, but these sounds are wowing. I have a yamaha ypt. standard key board and this keyboard sounds pro compared to that one and it's a standard too. I probably won't be buying a big pro board. this and the ypt as a secondary. I'm cool with that
What type of sustain pedal I will buy to it
Only the two Casio Pedals fit and the M-Audio SP-2 which costs 1/3.
