@@greycats99 yes mate I got it last week it was 1 someone didn't pick up so in the 3000's stunning watch looking for a 39mm explorer for my next purchase 😁
I live in Singapore, so I have to pay the premium to get this watch. But I am lucky enough to find one in the used market for (3,100 GBP) this morning and am picking this up tomorrow. What's more, I found out that the AD card on the watch is dated on my birthday making it extra special
The reason for the feet first measurement is that England historically used imperial measurements and not metric, so it’s a little tongue in cheek nod to Harrods/English tradition I guess.
Tudor is differently a luxury watch LOVE IT!!! I would love to try this one on.... I'm definitely going to give them a call when they reopen 😜 Thanks for sharing. 👍
Oh my god I love it. I’ve only gotten into horology in the past few months (not for the first time though, it’s an on-and-off phase) and have been WAITING for a watch that was “love at first sight.” This is the closest I’ve gotten. Being an international student in London, a Harrods edition BB seems perfect as a graduation gift to myself. That gives me a couple more years to save up and get on the waitlist! Hopefully they’re still producing them at that point 🤞
Just came cross your video, that was a very good review. Even better than some of the other on UA-cam with much much more subscribers than you. Keep up the great reviews.
Just got the call and will have a friend pickup the watch on sunday(I’m in the US). I was on the wait list just about 9 months. We’ll see what number I get.
Seems as though these have become readily available, from any part of the world now. Just saw that harrods has this in stock and they’re shipping it out of the uk.
I thought you were going to say the wait list was like " wait a minute while I fetch one from the back ! " One year seems a really long time for this. The wait time for the GMT was a lot less. I'd love to have one but not visiting the UK anytime soon and refuse paying Chrono 24 prices. I have the the red bezel and love the watch. Must admit it is very thick but I preferred the manufacture movement then the ETA so no choice.
Good video mate, I’ve had my Harrods BB a couple years now number circa 800ish (can’t remember exactly as it’s underneath the nato strap!) Love the watch and I’d say the apple of my collection (Green pun there)
Beautiful watch but there’s no way I’d pay £4000+ so I’ll have to be patient while I’m on the waiting list. In the meantime I’ll be happy with the Tudor gmt that I will be purchasing the weekend
The Tudor GMT is a great watch, congratulations if you've already picked it up. Good luck with the Tudor Harrods edition, hopefully you don't have to wait too long.
Picked mine up yesterday, circa No3,500. With Harrods being a British brand I would imagine that this is the reason the ft measurements are ahead of the M. (Brits using ft rather than m as a measurement.)
interesting....i didn't know that. but don't they use kilometers/hour as a speed measurement? i was in england over 20 years ago and i don't really remember
I went on in feb2020 and going to pick mine up tomorrow. Two years? They must’ve not liked the look of you? 😂 (sorry just that sounds longer than ive heard anywhere else)
@@manuel_winde I think they just had a new batch come through. The wait list may well have been 2 years long & he could have just missed the boat from the last batch. Also a lot of overseas haven’t been able to collect them in the 7 day time frame due to covid, so the list has gotten shorter. I picked my up last week, it’s perfect!!
@@MrHCars I’ve been gorging on videos in anticipation of getting mine tomorrow, my vague recollection is that it’s looks a lot lot better in real life but haven’t seen one since Feb so really looking forward to it. Yeah I have no idea how they allocate but I have also seen people picking them up with relatively short waits so I guess there’s some luck/favouritism/policy somewhere at work. I’ve never begrudged ADs selling to preferred customers first to be honest. Having been one once I would have expected to get preferential treatment when I was spending thousands every year in the same place and I guess Harrods has much bigger spenders than most places too
Thanks for letting us know. Someone else said they had one in the 4000's, which is not that many considering. With the way Tudor are growing we think the Harrods edition will be very sought after in the years to come.
According to my sources maximum 5000 watches will be made. Getting on the waiting list is easy just phone harrods tudor section and give them your details. Around 4-6 months waiting list.
@@CultivatedWorld I'm pretty sure I saw one on the Facebook forums that was in the 4xxx. I'm due to get mine next month, hopefully. Had my name down since December.
Nope, email Harrods Tudor store. They’ll add you. Too late now I reckon, I’ve been on 3 months and dont expect to hear as we are getting close to that 5k now. 4,800 last I heard
I honestly cannot see the appeal of this colour. I can guarantee you that if this was not a Harrods special and was offered alongside the other colours as a standard colour, it would most definitely be the least popular. But as it is a special edition people prefer it.
Yes, there is definitely that "exclusivity" that appeals to some people. However, some do genuinely like the green bezel, including us. You could also make the same argument for the green Rolex Submariners.
Mike D Rolex artificially create the demand by limiting the supply. I guarantee you that if the green versions were supplied in the same quantities as the others they would not be so popular.
Cultivated World yeah I saw that. I purchased my Tudor Harrods BB back in February of this year but I couldn’t see how they’ve churned out 500 odd within 4 months
Harrods stopped the production of this watch in mid February 2023. Total production was 11,570 I was told (I have number 11,567). They had the last 8 in stock at the time. The fabric strap is horrible as always.
@@tomnicholas8247 Agreed. I was up there a couple of weeks back and they had finally taken them off display. They had "a couple" left. I will try to find out the final production total. What I do know is that they were not sold in number sequence and not all numbers were issued - no idea why.
