I think LWC is the best. He’s able to show us his collection and not be arrogant about it. Like he truly has a genuine passion for watches and he wants to share that.
Yeah that's a lot of people like this channel. Hes genuinely a watch enthusiast that obviously has the money to spend to get the watches he wants! Man is living the dream !
Adrian from Bark&Jack got thrown out of Harrods for filming down there. Evidently the London Watch collector enjoys some _respect_ from those guys! :-)
@Spanish John You can see the rubber strap of his Aquanaut at 2:47. LWC has probably bought watches there worth more than Adrian's collection. He also only filmed a few clips in the stairwell, and took picture of the watch he was looking at, which is usually ok if you ask the seller first.
Go either with a Luminor Marina with a bracelet, because these are kinda rare and you wont see a Pan with a bracelet on someones wrist very often. Or... I know that you collect steel pieces but these Carbotech.. damn these carbotech.
The 58 is the Black Bay to have but this is a nice piece in it's own right, the shade of green chosen for the bezel is superb. I have my 58 now and waiting patiently for my name to reach the top of this list.
I don't own a Rolex yet but I had to decide between the Tudor BB58 and the black Submariner and went home with the Tudor. I just like the slender no crown guards look of the Tudor more. Kinda like a Rolex 6538 which is unattainable for me. But I will probably get an Air King as my next watch.
Always the best my friend, I hope one day to buy so fine watch pieces, everything is very nice from the music to your nice reviews, seeing London in your videos brings me back memories form when I lived in London for two years. Lovely watch, getting a Tudor black bay is my affordable dream, kind regards my friend.
Eye Heart Sushi I got the black bay 41. Really understated but an absolutely beautiful watch. Would recommend. Was looking at more Tudors yesterday and can say my collection is going to grow soon.
Thank you for another great video. I own some Tudor BB. The longer I own them, the more I like them. Also the Harrods special edition is awesome. I'm looking forward to your presentation of the P01. 😀
MDManimations 9 i dont think he is interested in panerai, look at his watches, nothing too big nothing too informal. He as a pretty smart way of dressing.
I decided to pull the trigger and put my name on the wishlist for this particular watch. I scribbled my name my email and my number on a piece of paper (not on a form). Was it meant to be that easy? current wait time I was informed was a year and a half if anyone is wondering. This wait time is already so nerve-racking and it has only been a day.
I think its too tall, if it was slimmer definitely would love it. It remembers me of the vintage rolex’s that where sold at tiffany’s and and said tiffany in the dial.
I agree to some degree on both commentors’ points: 1. It is tall - as are all of these Tudor 41mm Black Bay models - and perhaps it would have been better if it was the same size and dimensions as the Black Bay 58 blue; 2. It could be argued it’s a shame it doesn’t have Harrods written on the dial, like the Tiffany from way back. But then again, the green in particular is unmistakably Harrods, and the green and gold colouring tacitly speaks for itself without the need to actually say Harrods. And sometimes writing the name of a shop or the name of a Formula 1 driver or something on a watch can come across as a bit tacky, a bit desperate marketing wise. Although Harrods is probably the only shop in the whole wide world which is so classy it could get away with it regardless. But it could have set an unwelcome trend; imagine Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Galeries Lafayette, Printemps Haussmann or Tsum for example written on a dial; it just wouldn’t be a good look!
im in Singapore. was placed on the wait list at harrods London and actually got an email less than a year later. sadly i couldn't collect it in person and so my chance was forfeited. sad 💔
Very nice watch mate and congratulations on buying your first tudor watch.i have had the tudor BlackBay chronograph for about nine months now and I love it such a nice watch very well built and good looking especially in the right lighting
Re-watching this video as I'm obsessing over the harrods BB at the moment and noticed the retail price when these came out is nearly £1000 less than it is today.
Nice review as always. I'm not usually much for green on my watch. but this. THIS is love. Understated and not "hulk" green. Very very nice looking. Congrats!
Great vid, as usual. I’m the proud owner of a Black Bay 58 along with a Rolex OP 36mm (black dial) and a ceramic sub (114060). The finishing of the Rolex(s) brings something special but the BB58 is perfectly proportioned and really great on the wrist - you should consider adding one now you’ve cracked the Tudor seal! Keep up the good work bro ✌🏼
I have the same. I put it on a Tudor leather strap and use it as a holiday watch. Don't listen to the haters. I have worn it a lot and in the sea its very robust and does not stratch up.
I also have the Tudor Black Bay Harrods edition (number 8xx). I have also recently purchased the Rolex BLNR on the oyster bracelet (not a big fan of the jubilee on a GMT but that’s my preference). The Tudor Black Bay I have actually had now become one of my everyday watches I wear, it’s so comfortable to wear and looks great.
Buddy thank you for another great video! This exclusive Harrods edition is really beautiful. Whether you’re a civil engineer or architecture- you know how to admire and describe watches in a beautiful and passionate way. By the way, can you send me a link for where you get your white gloves? They look so clean 😄
Did the AD keep the Tudor swing tag? Had a call from Harrods to say the same watch is ready for me to collect but they insist on keeping the swing tag. Isn't that an important part of owning the watch?
Really nice watch. I have the black bay bronze in blue from Bucherer, really huge thing! Now I’m waiting for my submariner no date. But I’m not sure if it’s better to buy with the old 3130 movement or the next update with 70h power reserve. What are your thoughts?
I own a Tudor Black Bay 41 love the watch and wear it daily, but I must say where I work. Working with plastic and plastic wrap. Whenever the plastic Wrap comes into contact with the clasp. It will come open.... "Every single time". The plastic in question is similar to food wrap, but a shipping pallet wrap. I love the watch thought I'd just post that comment.
I have a Rolex Sub and have been thinking about getting me a Tudor BB, but the case height is holding me back. I do love the overal look, but I hope Baselworld '20 brings us either a smaller BB GMT or some more colour options for the BB 58...
First of all thanks for this wonderful reviews! You have a fantastic collection. I have a small question for you: Which are your everyday watch and how often you change your watches from your wrist in some rotation scheme?
I own a Rolex Submariner ref 14060M and a Tudor Submariner ref 79230N. IMHO, the Tudor is more comfortable on the wrist, is better value for money overall and keeps better time than the Rolex. However, when it comes to prestige and general public awareness of what's on my wrist, the Rolex wins hands down. Both are amazing pieces and you cannot go wrong with either of them. Its just depends on your budget and preference
4:01 Are you secretly giving us the middle finger? ;) BTW, I bought the Tudor Black Bay Bronze and the Tudor GMT Pepsi this year. Tudor makes super high quality watches at price points that make them an amazing value. Rolex quality cases, near Rolex quality bracelets, many with completely in-house movements that are among the most accurate in my collection...sturdy, tooly, good looking, and functional. Little known secret fact...the Tudor GMT actually has a 72 hour power reserve but Tudor can only advertise it as having a 70 hour power reserve for obvious reasons. ;)
I had the opportunity to buy that watch back in June but then I got a call from Watches of Switzerland saying they have the Rolex Hulk in so I bought that instead. Now seeing your video I am tempted in getting the Harrods one too 🤔
Imtiaz believe it or not less than a month. I guess I was just lucky. I was even offered a Tudor GMT over the weekend just gone and I said no as I have heard they are having problems with the date wheel.
Serious quality there, the built and design look good, but to me snowflake hands are an instant no go. I think a Sub or Planet Ocean are superior. This is on par with with upper Breitling SuperOcean models. Enjoy !
I own a Datejust and a Tudor North Flag. The Rolex's finish is a little better perhaps but not much difference. The Tudor, however, has the better movement. The new in-house movement they also gave to Breitling in return of their chrono movement is IMO superior to Rolex. The 70 hours power reserve alone make it so much more useful.
The harrods is next on my list I bought the gmt last week as I want a non ceramic daily wearer that will age and develop a unique character that come from a tool watxh not being babied too much so aluminium bezel was a huge selling point not to mention the overall quality and shared and important history with Rolex. First time commentor but it’s been lovely watching your collection flourish and the way you approach watch collecting is exactly the way it should be, wear it in good health my friend
I was going to purchase a Tudor Black Bay 41about a month ago. I was going to drive over 3 hrs away to get the watch as the only Tudor AD near me. Just as I was about to get the watch the AD co-workers called me and the price of the watch was inflated, by $1,000 dollars. Then as the watch as we both described became a Tudor 1926 which I didn't want. Next of all I was asked were i worked and did I have gainful employment. Lastly they asked if I had money 💰 to purchase the watch. I've found Tudor Watches rather sharp, but by the means in which sell them rather racists at the least. Yet when people follow trump idealism stupidity blocks profit.
Tudor beats Rolex in every single aspect. Tudor is classier, less bling bling, more authentic in its proposal as a brand, more elegant and surprisingly more accurate. Period.

Best comment ever. Salute.
Love my Black Bay Bronze. Tudor needs more love....
I like how whenever you go to collect a watch, you seem to pair it with a good meal at a nice restaurant. Cheers!
Great video BTW. Looking to pull the trigger on the Tudor BB Harrods.
Did you?!
It isn’t a limited edition, but a special edition with limited distribution as we know Harrods only. Best colour way of this watch me thinks!
Case depth on these is a show stopper for me
Adrian from Bark&Jack got thrown out of Harrods for filming down there. Evidently the London Watch collector enjoys some _respect_ from those guys! :-)
hahaha right?! i was thinking the same😂
@Spanish John You can see the rubber strap of his Aquanaut at 2:47. LWC has probably bought watches there worth more than Adrian's collection. He also only filmed a few clips in the stairwell, and took picture of the watch he was looking at, which is usually ok if you ask the seller first.

My favorite Tudor Black Bay. Do you plan a state of the collection at some stage ?
I don't own a Rolex yet but I had to decide between the Tudor BB58 and the black Submariner and went home with the Tudor. I just like the slender no crown guards look of the Tudor more. Kinda like a Rolex 6538 which is unattainable for me. But I will probably get an Air King as my next watch.

Matthew Bell Which one did you get? I want to buy the Black Bay with burgundy bezel.
Eye Heart Sushi I got the black bay 41. Really understated but an absolutely beautiful watch. Would recommend. Was looking at more Tudors yesterday and can say my collection is going to grow soon.
Matthew Bell I really like Tudors. The Heritage Chrono (“Monte Carlo”) is also really cool. Is your BB41 the one with black bezel and black dial?

This might be a stupid question...but why does it matter if someone knows the reference number?
